I've been going to Angela for a while now after my previous tech left (who was also fantastic) and my lashes always look amazing, and she is so gentle. I went in to get my lashes done for the first time, and I experienced a warm welcome from Allontae, she made it easy for me to schedule an appointment, and was so hospitable when I arrived. Overall she is such a sweet person! Kaelyn was the lash tech who did my lashes, and made it very comfortable for me which meant a lot because it was my first time getting a set of lashes! She made sure I was doing okay every now and then during the whole process. Kaelyn did an amazing job, and I LOVE my lashes, she nailed the look I was going for. I went in for a brow lamination. Cherae, suggested I get a brow tint. I said okay but not dark( I have blonde hair). The result was horrific. I have black, angry bird brows with my blond hair. Cherae said it would lighten up- but it did not. I came in the next day to see if something could be done- with no real improvement. read more

I went here to get my first lash lift and my lashes were very over curled and not uniform with crimps in the hairs. I called twice to ask if they could do anything to help me with the didcomfort and was only told to get them wet and there was nothing they could do. Not very helpful. read more

I will preface this comment with the fact that I have worn eyelash extensions for the past several years. My appointment was for a classic new set. Within the next few hours I lost several lashes on my right and left eye. This is the first time I experienced lash loss on the same day. I would not recommend The Lash Lounge. I should have read the reviews before coming to this place. I have a friend that loves the lash lifts/tints she gets here, so I thought I'd give them a try. 1. It's way too expensive, especially considering that the lash techs aren't all as experienced. Where else do you have to pay more for 10 lashes or a senior lash artist. I went here for a fill and paid the price I pay in OC for a full set. Then when I'm finished, she tells me the extra charge for 10 extras. I told her it was fine, and she continued to pressure me. The worse lash job ever! I never review a business but this place is over-priced and not qualified to be applying lash extension on anyone. My lashes were uncomfortable, felt something poking every day here and there, fell out in chunks. Just the worst. I've been wearing lashes for many years this was a terrible lash job at this studio Manhattan Beach. Lash quality lacked not just my technician's ability. I got $166 promotion and still paid $140 for a very bad quality classic of lashes. Zero Stars. The update is that my eyesight is actually now compromised as a result of the solution they sprayed in my eyes at the beginning of the service (without any warning), and the adhesive and/or the terrible quality of the lashes they use. I cannot believe I tipped this tech (what a waste) and I cannot believe I am still dealing with the after effects of this terrible service. This is not a good business and if I can go back in time, I should have walked out immediately after Lisa (tech) sprayed that solution in my eyes without any warning. I had no make up on, my face way fresh and clean ready for lash application, and there was no need for this. Please stay away from this place. It's not just the tech that's terrible it's the quality of the product and the application they utilize. I am steps away from filing a lawsuit. read more

I'd give 0 stars if I could. I came in asking for a full hybrid set; somehow I came out with a classic set & as if I had had them in for 3 weeks. I asked for a medium length & was given long lashes. After 3 hours laying down, I asked the girl if she nearly done since I was getting tired. She advised 10 more minutes & I said no problem. After opening my eyes & seeing her work..good lord I was shocked. When I got up to pay. I was charged "discount" price of $209 + tip. The receptionist advised the lash tech who did my lashes had only been lashing for 6 MONTHS. Their website states the lash techs go through weeks of training.. so if she's been lashing for 6 months; I'd say my lashes shouldn't look like this for laying down in 1 position for 3 hours. I called back the next day asking for a refund; but all they could offer me was a fill with a senior lash tech, when I let them know I cannot go in during the week; only Sundays, they said they could fill me in with 20 more lashes with another tech who has about 2 years experience. When I let them know I did not want to go back & just wanted my refund back, manager advised she "cannot refund me for a service that was already paid for. And if I didn't have anymore questions, I could have a good day". PLEASE DON'T GET LASHED HERE. read more

I had a very poor lash lift job done with one of their technicians. I reached out and sent a message via the contact us page on the website the same day after my lash lift (May 8th) and no one responded to me. I wanted my complaint in writing so that is why I did not call the business. I received a very bad lash lift result from the girl doing my lift (I forget her name). I realized when I got home that they were not lifted at all and the tint literally burned my eyes. She aggressively rinsed the tint out after the lift and completely ruined the lift. I have been getting lash lifts for 4 years and no one has ever done this. The rinsing completely ruined the lift. I've never had tint burn my eyes like theirs did either. I went back later the same day (which was a huge inconvenience with a 3 month old at home and during rush hour) for a redo and a gentleman redid my lashes but could only process them for 2-3 minutes (not the normal processing time). The lash lift results were better but overall, the lift didn't even last 3 weeks because the girl who did them the first time did not do it right. I paid full price for a partial result because they couldn't be processed for as long the second time around which is completely unfair. I asked for a refund of at least the tint and I didn't hear anything back. I disputed it on my credit card and it still didn't get resolved in my favor because they claimed that they redid the service at no charge. To be clear, the service was redone partially. For the massive inconvenience and unsatisfactory result, I thought a partial refund would be fair but they wouldn't. I will never be going back here for a lash lift to say the least. read more

I wish the specialist would've told me that I wouldn't see a difference due to my lash length- which is what she said after she saw my reaction. Just started coming here, and will definitely be a regular. It's very clean and my stylist sanitized and wiped down her area before and after working with me. All of the stylists wear masks. My stylist, Savannee, did an AMAZING job on my lashes, and was so sweet. We were running late and didn't have time to finish a complete set, so she and Ramona, the receptionist, worked it out so that I could return to get it finished at no extra charge. They went above and beyond and I am so satisfied with the finished result as well as their awesome customer service! read more

Overall, I am very disappointed with my experience at the Lash Lounge. I am not one to leave reviews, but I'm just so frustrated that I am leaving one here. TLDR, if you find the right stylist, your lashes will look great. If you go to a bad stylist, she'll ruin your lashes. TERRIBLE management and front desk service. I went to Lash Lounge for about a year, I needed lashes for my work and this location is across the street from my office. The first appointment I had, the lashes looked just ok (I had never had them done before, so I didn't really know what to expect.) A few were twisted which was annoying and didn't look great. I also felt a bit of uncomfortable in one eye during the installation. Before the appointment, I had told the stylist it was my first time, and I just figured it was normal to be a little uncomfortable. Two days later, I developed a pea sized red spot on my eyeball, just below the pupil. It was uncomfortable, but not painful - It was quite unsightly. I shared a photo at my next appointment at the stylist basically said it was my fault for not telling her I was uncomfortable when she was installing the lashes. Although at my last appointment she didn't say anything like, "Tell me if you're uncomfortable." Didn't love that, but figured I'd give it another shot. I didn't have that issue again, as I was vocal if there was any un-comfortability at all. A few months in, I started seeing Jill and I LOVED the way my lashes looked! I thought she always did a really nice job. 6 months later Jill quit so I made an appointment with a different stylist. This was a very important appointment for me, as I had a massive event the following week. She was VERY rough on my lashes. I felt her pull out at least two on each side during the service. She kept saying "your lashes are a mess, are you sure you brush them and wash them" Yes, I brush and clean them and never had an issues with Jill. She also asked me what length of lashes I had been getting, I had no idea. Apparently, Jill had never made note of this. After the service she pulled the little stickers they put on your under-lashes off. She was so rough with this, I felt more lashes being pulled off and my eyes were profusely watering. I then had MANY upper lashes stuck to bottom lashes (sometimes happens) but usually with just a lash or two. My eyes continually watered and were irritated and she struggled for several minutes to unstick them, all while the bright overhead light was shining in my eyes. Then she handed me the mirror to look at my lashes and says "It was the best I could do, your lashes were a mess when you came in." They looked TERRIBLE and were SUPER sparse. I was so upset, because one, if my lashes were in such bad shape when she started the session, she should have told me and I would have just had her remove them. Second, they were in terrible shape when I came in because Jill had been clumping my natural lashes with glue for several months - I really felt like the studio was at fault for this and expected something, at least an apology...? I complained to the front desk and asked to have a manager call me, which never happened. It took 4 months for my natural lashes to recuperate from the damage Jill had done. I made an appointment for the next week with a different stylist, Jazzmine and she was great! She helped my lashes look better for my event, and is the stylist I went to until ending my membership. She's great, but you have to pay extra for a "Pro Stylist," I understand charging more for more experienced staff, but it's super unacceptable to have stylist that are ruining people lashes like Jill was. I found lash lounge after having a bad experience at another place. My lashes last very well and it is a very comfortable experience. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because they don't openly share that they don't do full extensions. At previous places you would get an extension on every single lash but at lash lounge they only do a certain number and you have to pay extra to get them put on every lash. read more

Alma listened to my concerns and gave me the most beautiful, natural looking lashes. No need for mascara anymore and I look much more refreshed. Now I've joined the monthly membership club and talked my 17 year old daughter into getting a lash perm...which she is obsessed with.
