Today was my first time getting lash extensions and the experience was top tier from beginning to end! After texting their contact number, the owner Yvonne called me and answered all of my questions. She was super sweet & didn't make me feel like I was asking too many questions. Toni was my lash tech and she is amazing! I didn't even realize that I was laying there for almost 90minutes. I did the full classic LED lash and there was no pain and no irritation. We had great conversation and she also answered questions that I had. I asked Sophie for a natural look, but the result was the opposite. The lashes were heavy, overly curled, poorly placed, and uncomfortable. They actually hurt, and a week later they still don't look right. One eye has shed almost completely while the other is still full, so they're uneven and look worse over time. After two days of trying to reach someone, I finally spoke with the owner, Yvonne, who offered to remove them. I clearly said I did not want Sophie to touch my lashes again. When I arrived, Sophie was the one assigned to remove them anyway. I declined and left. What made this even more uncomfortable was being pressured to leave a review before I even left my original appointment. Sophie handed me a QR code and insisted I write it on the spot, standing over me while I did it. It didn't feel optional, and it wasn't an honest review. I heard about LED lash extensions from a friend and decided to give this place a try since it was so close to home -- I'm so glad I did! The salon is clean and so aesthetically pleasing. The workers are all so kind and very informative. I expressed that I've gotten regular lashes before but this was my first time for LED. The process is so much faster since I don't have to wait for the glue to dry. I got the hybrid set and it looks amazing! They gave me tea and a snack while waiting as well. I am unsatisfied with the lashes here. They do not last for more than a week and their lash glue stings my eyes. Sophie was defensive when I said that it stings and did not try to help, very rude. I had the best experience at Yv's Spa. I went in for the first time customer special of the essential oil deep detox scalp treatment. I love the aromatherapy and the sound bath during the session. The cozy and comfortable environment put me at ease and I felt very relaxed and refreshed after my treatment. My scalp felt so much healthier afterward.
