Yesterday I had a lash lift with a tech that over curled (by using a much too small rod - this fact was confirmed to me) and over processed my lashes. I thought it looked off, but assumed it was just a bad tint. When I got to the car I realized my eyelashes were completely curled in a circle back into themselves. I reached out and Su was kind enough to get me in to fix them a couple hours later. I came in crying and worried my lashes were going to fall out, I was assured it was an easy fix and my lashes would not fall out so we proceeded. In the studio, the fix looked fine, certainly better than before. I was refunded. I think if I had the lash lift with Su originally I would've been pleased with the results and the experience as the studio space is nice. Unfortunately, 2 hours after the fix the lashes started to retain the shape of the first lift again. I reached out again asking what I could do as they had gone back. The text I received back restated what had happened, but did not offer advice. I tried to clarify with a longer description of what was happening and said I was asking for advice. I did not hear from her again. This morning I woke up to my lashes falling out in clumps and the lashes that are left have all broken in half. I'm devastated. I have been getting lash lifts for years and have never had anything like this happen. It is going to take a very long time for my lashes to grow back. I was assured nothing bad would happen in the correction and it was an easy fix. Again, I was refunded, but it's not about the money. My lashes are ruined. read more

WEBSITE LASHES ARE NOT THE SAME RESULTS YOU GET AND THERES A LONG WAIT AFTER YOUR APT TIME I had an appointment scheduled for 2:15 p.m, but Su changed it to 2:30-3:55 without notifying me. I still arrived at 2:30 on time, and she was working on another client, which led to an additional 30-minute wait. We didn't start my appointment until 3:00 p.m. Before we started, I asked if she would be able to complete my full set by 4:20 because I had another appointment right after. She confirmed that she could. However, after starting, she later told me she wasn't sure if she would finish and asked if I wanted to reschedule. Since I had already waited and needed my lashes done that day, I said I couldn't reschedule. During the consultation, when we were discussing curls and lengths, she told me to hurry up, which felt rude considering I had been the one waiting. I also showed her a reference photo from her own website, but the final result did not look like the picture, so I felt the photos were not an accurate representation. Overall, the experience felt rushed and unprofessional, and I was disappointed with both the service and the final result. I was a loyal client for over a year with her former lash techs who are no longer there and I'm surely not coming back after this experience. read more

I came in for a full set of lashes and was impressed from the start. They were very accommodating with scheduling, which I really appreciated. The underground parking is a huge plus--especially on the Westside--and you get up to 4 hours free when visiting the salon. The vibe here is super chill. I am new to the area so I messaged this business asking if they had availability for a lash refill, and specifically if they could refill lashes from other businesses. They messaged that they could accommodate me. I was excited because they messaged me back so fast and I saw a lot of good reviews. However, when I got there they told me that they don't refill lashes from others. I said that I didn't understand why they told me to come in because I messaged them specifically asking if that was allowed. They proceeded to tell me that they could only accommodate me if I paid $100 for a removal and a new set. Su then scolded me for not asking the price. I tried explaining that I was shocked because I usually only pay $55 for a refill. Then she was very condescending and told me that in Hermosa Beach, nothing is priced like that. She lowered the price to $88, for no removal just a refill and I was confused because she told me before that all the lashes needed to be removed. The business also texted me saying that parking was free but I ended up having to pay. The directions were confusing because there are two level 2's. I understand that the cost of living is very high and shops have policies but I felt like this was an attempt to take advantage of me. If I had known that the lashes I had were going to be removed I would have waited longer, it is ridiculous to pay $100 for a 2 week refill. I am including the messages with this business owner and I hope that this is an opportunity for this business to improve their customer service. read more

She took her time with me and explained the process. She also gave instructions on how to clean and brush to help keep lashes lasting longer. I felt very comfortable and trusted her expertise. I booked appointment online and there's a discount if paying with cash. Her suite is on the second floor. You can enter through the Pavilions Plaza and go up the stairs across from the convenience store. This place was unfortunately a miss for me. Was very excited to find a place in South Bay for a reasonable price. The special for new clients for hybrids is only 70% of the fill which I think is interesting to not offer the full set to entice clients to come back. After 2-3 days most of the lashes fell off and I have strong natural lashes. Disappointing having to pay $150 for something that didn't work.
