The place was packed but we got a seat downstairs right away. Our waitress Julia was at our table in less than 90 seconds and we had drinks in less than 5 minutes. The food came fast. SHRIMP SHRIMP SHRIMP was a ton of shrimp cooked perfectly each way. Lobster looked great and my son devoured it. Phenomenal service all night. House hot sauce is really good. But the food at the Ocean Deck is fabulous. I got just the "Crunchy Tuna" (see pic) but it was ao yummy that I will come back from say 50 miles away just for this. The crunchy tortilla chips are so great... they will make my blood sugar monitor yell at me but... well worth it! Great cozy armosphere with dimmed lights (not to bother the turtles laying eggs I guess), with nice servers and great beer selection. And of course... unbeatable location! Love it! Ordered a Cabo Coconut cocktail in a reusable bucket for 18.95. If you bring the bucket back the drinks are 15. We met friends and they all shared the club sandwich and raves at how good it was. If you park in public parking lot a block away you will pay $8. Across the street Ocen Deck has their own lot for $20 before noon then $30 per car after noontime. read more

This was a nice new place for us in Daytona. As it turns out there are 2 levels: lower level accessible from the beach and upper level accessible from the street. Since we just wanted to have lunch we went to the upper level. There are about 5 or 6 tables next to windows with a view to the water/ beach. The service was very nice and courteous. Our waiter made good recommendations and was fast. The food was pretty good. Our 11-yr old had the grilled cheese which looked really good, I had the tuna wrap which was good but the tuna had a few veins, and my husband had fried snapper and loved it. The view is great, but the food is overrated bar food. I had the wings and when I got them they were not fully cooked. Sent them back, got another and over cooked. Had to get the manger to remove them from the bill. My wife got the fish and chips. It was nothing special, looked like standard frozen fish you by in the store. Also on final note. They charge a credit card service fee. it is not state on the menu or on their website. You have to pay cash or use a debit card to not get charged this fee. will not be coming back.
