Mail room broken into 3 separate times within a year of living at Bayhill. NOT to mention the Guest Parking STINKS. 3 of our guests were TOWED AND CHARGED $500 when parked in the Guest parking spots. The Leasing Office at Bayhill is only open select few days a week and half the time they are never in there and "out for lunch". Also, DO NOT EXPECT YOUR SECURITY DEPOSIT BACK. Package theft is a real issue here, and we've had deliveries stolen with little support or accountability. It doesn't feel secure. Dealing with the office hasn't helped. Interactions have come across as blunt and unkind, and when problems are brought up, it feels like you're being brushed off instead of helped. At the same time, residents are frequently asked to leave positive reviews, which makes the overall rating feel misleading. This hasn't been the experience we expected when we moved in, and I wish we had known what day-to-day living here was actually like.

From the moment I moved in, the staff has been welcoming, responsive, and incredibly helpful. The leasing office team, Alejandra and Lucas, along with the manager Kimberly have been amazing to work with. They are always friendly, professional, and quick to help whenever I've had questions or needed assistance. Their communication and willingness to go the extra mile really make a difference. I also want to give a big thank you to the maintenance team, especially Jared. Maintenance requests are handled quickly and professionally, and Jared has always been great whenever he has come by. He is knowledgeable, respectful, and clearly takes pride in making sure everything is taken care of properly. I've enjoyed living here so much that I actually decided to transfer to another unit within the community, which says a lot about how positive my experience has been. The team truly makes Griffis on Pine feel like a place where residents are valued. Overall, the customer service from both the leasing office and maintenance team has been outstanding, and I really appreciate everything they do to keep the community running smoothly.

Giving credit where it's due: Mike from maintenance came out yesterday and actually made progress…read more He replaced our master bath faucet, fixed the water pressure issue, and installed a new track panel so the laundry room door could be reinstalled. His effort and professionalism were much appreciated -- thank you, Mike. Mike also said he would: - Ask the leasing office about replacing our broken dishwasher (submitted 8/4). - Reach out to the regional maintenance person regarding the black mold growing in our bathroom grout. While I'm glad some repairs were finally addressed, major concerns are still unresolved. The dishwasher remains broken, the mold issue is ongoing, and other problems like the broken gate and mailbox delays continue to impact residents. This update is an improvement, and Mike deserves recognition, but what's still needed is consistency and urgency from management. Residents shouldn't have to wait weeks or escalate issues to regional just to resolve basic health and safety fixes.

Buyer Beware…read more.. Management & Roaches Be very careful. The units look great, but management is entirely reactive. They moved me into a roach-infested unit, and getting out was a major headache which they made me pay for. My second unit had dogs barking non-stop for months. Despite repeated requests, management did nothing until I used the courts as leverage. Their "fix" was letting me break my lease rather than addressing the noisy neighbor. The $732 Deposit Battle I had to win a Small Claims lawsuit to finally get my deposit back. Again, bad communication. I eventually had to physically go back and pick up the original 4-month-old check myself. Noise & Building Quality Noise was a dealbreaker for me. You'll hear neighbors above and below due to poor insulation, and the heating system reverberates loudly in winter. Outside, noise from the nearby gym and bars carries straight into the units. Safety & Sanitation The building exterior is unsanitary, specifically the garage, stairwells, and elevator. Accessing the garage requires using an alley that reeks of urine and is constantly occupied by homeless people, the mentally ill, and drug addicts. Bottom Line Nice-looking units, but you're on your own. Be prepared to advocate for yourself or sue if you want basic results.

Deceptive marketing practices, but excellent on-site staff…read more I am writing this review to warn prospective tenants about the marketing practices at Burano Apartments. I scheduled a tour based on specific, confirmed terms (pricing and 8-week rent concessions) provided by their automated systems. I invested my time and drove 40 minutes to the property, only to find that the terms had been "unilaterally updated" without any prior notice. When I addressed this failure of communication with the management, they dismissed the situation as my "confusion" or "misunderstanding" rather than taking responsibility for their deceptive advertising. It is a classic bait-and-switch strategy: they use misleading online terms to get you in the door, then change the conditions once you have already committed your time and effort. This lack of transparency reflects a significant failure in business ethics. However, I must explicitly state that the on-site associate, Christie, was absolutely fantastic. She was professional, welcoming, and helpful throughout my entire visit. She is in no way responsible for the systemic failures of the management or marketing protocols. I want to ensure she receives credit for her professionalism, as my grievance is strictly with the management's practices. If you are considering this property, be aware that the terms advertised online may not be honored. I hope this serves as a fair warning to others who value transparency

Genuinely a terrible, rotten company that will do everything they can to be petty and rude. Update: after writing a review on both google and yelp, they all of a sudden were able to return my call the same day I wrote it, smh. *Could* be coincidence, but I will also add that when I applied to this place I got the same treatment for TWO weeks and, again, got a call the same day I wrote a review on Google about that, so. Be very careful with this place, keep eye on your deposits, and take a good look at the itemized list they give you because they will make "mistakes" Very shady, unpleasant and rude experience. Moved out and was told I owe $177 and was given an itemized list only to see that they only included one of two of the $600 deposits I made (a regular and pet deposit totaling to $1200). I've contacted them FIVE TIMES for a week to ask why the second deposit was left out; text, voicemail, email, and have been ignored completely. I'm almost certain it's on purpose to try and keep the other deposit AND ask for more money because... how? How have they NOT responded for a week, from all different sources of contact, even after messaging them "this is my 4th / 5th time trying to contact you with no response," but was told my payment to them is "urgent" ? They really are trying to swipe my second deposit AND ask for more money from me. What a horrible, disgusting place. But besides being potentially scammed, and possibly needing to contact a lawyer since they won't answer any form of contact, I could not stand the older lady in the office and left after a year pretty much because of her. She's VERY rude and annoying. Before switching to automated texts to let us know if we have packages, she used to manually call everyone and would nag me, because I order a "lot" of stuff, so I refused to answer any of her calls (or else I would get nasty). Well, it even got to a point where she demanded I call her back and let her know why I was "ignoring" her calls? No, lady, lol you can leave your voicemails and talk to yourself since you want to be rude. Acting as if she's entitled to me answering the phone and letting her yap in my ear about how I order "too much stuff" (as if it's her business?). Thank god they switched to texts. People probably complained about her attitude lol. After that I just completely ignored her existence because she was so unpleasant. Hope she learns some basic customer support skills!
