This buffet is very clean, modern, and well-lit, with plenty of food options to choose from. It's located a bit farther out, but it's worth the drive. The food was fresh and tasted really good.

Mediocre at best but lots and lots of variety The habachi chicken was good The sushi and rolls were decent, good value Soups, esp the Miso was good The rest was meh Stay away from the kimchi, spare ribs, orange chicken and broccoli chicken. Parking is a chore, you are competing with planet fitness during dinner hours Would I come back, probably, but not my first pick

Still a solid 4 stars for what it is. We took the extended family here on the second visit. I got my usual, but made a beeline for the pork buns first. They were great as always, and I appreciate this place has them because no other buffet I've been to has them to offer. We sat in the same room as we did last time, and the staff were all attentive. Worth a mention: I didn't get the seafood. I would suggest that this business give customers a way to crack the shells open. I did see several people struggling to get the crab meat out of the shells. My sister-in-law gave up trying to open hers because she couldn't. Customers, take your own cracking supplies. (ETA UPDATE: someone informed me you can ask the servers for crackers for the shells and they'll give them to you...didn't know that but it's great info for those who need them)

I don't normally rate buffets as 5 stars, but Ocean Buffet is an exception. The staff were very nice and the restaurant was clean. The food was plentiful and everything looked fresh. There were a lot of options. The hibachi area was pristine and the uncooked meats looked properly housed and fresh. You are given a beeper to let you know when your grill items are ready. The sushi looked well prepared. There are so many options of food here to choose from I hope the restaurant stays as well kept as it is now.

This place was super hyped up on social media, so I had pretty high expectations going in. In the spirit of a buffet, we tried lots of different small plates. I will say the variety was impressive, with a lot to choose from. The kitchen staff did a great job keeping everything stocked; I never saw anything running low or sitting empty. The price was reasonable for a seafood buffet, and there are weekday and kids' deals that help keep it affordable. The service was fine. We mostly saw servers when they came by to refill sodas or clear away finished plates. The place was very busy (we waited about 20-30 minutes just to be seated), so service was understandably a bit slower when it came to refills and clearing dishes. Overall, it's a buffet, solid, not bad...but nothing particularly special either.

What a great find. Stopped in for lunch and they were so busy. They are in a cramped parking lot with alot of speed bumps. I'm so glad we took the suv otherwise we would've had to forget about going through all of those speed bumps. They are so friendly and efficient getting tables cleaned and ready. The food servers were back and forth getting the food restocked. It was good food and they had some dim sum dishes such as chicken feet and hargow there. So surprising! I'd definitely recommend this spot. We drove 45 minutes to come here. Well worth the drive. Melly was our server and made sure we had everything we needed for a great meal.

Comparing asian buffets in DFW area, this one is one of the best. The sushi options alone are stand out!!! I really enjoyed the sushi here and I usually never eat the sushi at buffets. They also had steamed buns which I don't usually see at buffets. Such a wide variety of options here. Hibachi is offer in the buffet too. Just so many good options. It was pretty crowded on a Sunday at 1pm but we got saf within 5 mins. This location is very spacious, fun interior.

Hi everyone! With all the hype about the, brand new, Ocean Buffet in Crawley I had to come over and give it a try.... I'm not sure where to start with this review. The entrance to the restaurant is very nicely done. It is pretty and inviting. The buffet selection is quite large with a good variety of offerings. It is safe to say, there is something for everyone here. The buffet is clean, the food fresh and nicely presented. There is a nice selection of sushi. Many Chinese dishes. And your typical buffet desert selections. Sadly, the food itself can vary in taste from mediocre to fairly good. Nothing great. The service is basically just keeping your beverage glass full to picking up your dirty plates. In both cases, they were sorely lacking. Definitely needing improvement. So you might wonder why, with basically a mediocre review above, I gave Ocean Buffet four stars. Simple. The price! An "early bird" senior buffet is only $10.95! That price makes up for a lot of shortcomings. Am I coming back? Maybe..... Jim

Sigh. I absolutely love korean fried chicken and bonchon is one of our favorite chains... but quite…read morefrankly this location as well as the arlington location are both okay. The wait time is very long, every time we've come to this location and the arlington one. They NEVER have pickled daikon, which is a absolute staple, and sometimes they package togo orders so poorly that everything with collapse in the bag on your way home. With that being said, its still some darn good chicken, japjae, and baos. Just know that the frisco location is the best one.

First off I would like to say the people in the register were clearly doing their best. HOWEVER the Kitchen took forever to make our food. It feels weird that they seemed to prioritize the Delivery orders over the dine ins. The front said they were "Slammed" but there were only 4 tables dining in at the time. My brother ended up receiving his Fried Rice first. (Decently fast maybe 5 minutes) after that we waited... for almost 30 min. Nothing. Then the bulgogi fries came out after another 10 min which was my brother's. I haven't received my food yet. Decided to eat some of my brother's food. Bulgogi fries pretty good nice flavor. If my food tasted like this I'd be satisfied even for the long wait honestly. Another 10 minutes pass still no food for me. Once about hour passed I received my Bibimbap. The Namul (Sauteed Vegetables) were burned and the Bulgogi was overcooked. The egg was clearly not seasoned at all. There was NOTHING good about the Bibimbap. And I waited almost an Entire hour for this. After that I wanted to leave but I knew the Omurice would be arriving soon. Hopefully. And thankfully it arrived within the first couple minutes after the Terrible Bibimbap. I didn't bother tasting it until I got home because my mood was ruined after the Bibimbap. Once I got home I ate one bite of the Omurice and it was actually really good! So it left me wondering. HOW?!? I understand you may get a lot of Mobile orders HOWEVER those can literally wait until you click "Your order is ready". And your Bibimbap should NOT be overcooked. You have good Bulgogi why was it good on the Bulgogi fries but when you put it with the bibimbap it's overcooked and bland? Severely disappointed.

The prices are reasonable, and I originally wanted to try the sushi, but the restaurant was extremely warm inside, which honestly made me question how fresh the sushi would be. One thing that stood out was the huge variety of Asian cuisines on the menu. While having options is nice, it also made me wonder if they're really able to execute each dish well. I ordered the orange chicken with yakisoba noodles, but when my food arrived, I was served lo mein. The waitress even referred to it as lo mein. When I mentioned that I had ordered yakisoba, she insisted that it was yakisoba. It wasn't. Yakisoba and lo mein are two completely different dishes. To make matters worse, the noodles were cold, dry, and lacked any real flavor. The food also came out incredibly fast--less than ten minutes after ordering. While some people might see that as a positive, it made me feel like my meal wasn't prepared fresh and was likely pre-made or simply reheated. The appetizers were disappointing as well; they were doughy and bland. The orange chicken was actually good, but I didn't come here just for orange chicken. To top it all off, before we had even finished eating, the waitress/host brought us to-go boxes without asking if we were done. It made us feel like we were being rushed out, even though it was just a Sunday afternoon. Overall, I won't be returning. There were a few positives, but the poor food quality, incorrect order, and rushed service outweighed them. I was really hoping for a better experience.
