It's been a long time coming that we find a place with the best Chirashi bowl in Pinellas County! We dined late and the servers were still very accommodating! We started off with the grilled Octopus- very delicious! Then moved on to some rolls, Scallop Roll, Sexy Rolland Chirashi bowls. We had to wrap it up since they were almost closing and we feel bad. We will be back to try others on the menu.

Incredibly fresh sushi plus a variety of other delicious menu items. Atmosphere is great balance between casual and refined, bar area and comfortable area. Perfect for happy hour, take out or nice sit down dinner.

I have always loved this sushi place. The sushi is delicious. They have so many different specialty rolls and classic rolls as well. The staff is very nice and friendly. The sushi never takes too long to make. Sometimes when I place an order, it is ready in as little as 10 to 15 minutes. They expanded the inside of the restaurant, so there is more seating. It is very nice.

This Sushi place was unusual for us. We ordered the chicken satay to start with, and I would never order that it again. The chicken was so overcooked and dry, it was almost inedible. It looked good though. Then when looking at the menu, I honestly couldn't find a Sushi roll and neither could Ben that we wanted so we both went with getting a make your own Sushi Burrito. Normally finding a roll is not an issue, especially for Ben. I did like the different options that you can pick and choose from when creating your own roll from sauces, veggies, proteins, wrap type, etc and we both order completely different types. I was very pleased with mine and since it is a burrito, it was too big for me to finish and I was going to take the rest home. BUT, still getting use to having to ensure your mask is on prior to getting up from your seat, I got distracted and left it on the table. :( So, we may not be back for traditional Sushi, but I am pretty sure we will be back for a Sushi Burrito.

Yummy, beautiful sushi! Quick, friendly service. Ordered to-go. Everything was boxed up with care and made it safe back home, even with my husband's driving ;)

What in the HECK has happened to this place???!! Haven't been here in a while....but seriously!! Came after work cause I needed sushi.... it was a loooong day. Upon entering, the place smelled like..... a mens' toilet. I don't know why...so wrong!!! Second bad sign...cheap chop sticks....the kind you have to rub together so you don't get splinters in your lips....haven't seen them in years...and cheap, creepy non paper napkin. The menu is carefully crafted in an 8 point helvetica narrow....so bring not only your glasses, but a magnifying glass. There's a black tray in front of me... that has deep edges....and no purpose. Nothing fits on it...not the wooden sushi plate...and the small dirty white dish you get to eat on, so I try to put my wooden sushi plate on the bar's edge... but it's too small...so eventually...it'll fall onto the large bar....if you ordered enough sushi. But it's stone! My octopus salad is cool and delicious. My "whatever roll".....was served with NOTHING ....on a dirty bamboo board....and each piece fell apart as I tried to remain ladylike eating sushi splashing into my soy sauce dish in front of me. Lastly, I ordered clam sashimi. Whoa.... no one here knows what surf clam sashimi is... it came out warm...and slightly scored. Both sides in tact...impossible to chew through...and warm. It's been nuked! Just plain awful. I don't know who bought this place.... but it's not for actual sushi aficionados. Service was very good! Sorry to the servers. And to finish this insult to Asian food, country music in the background. AWFUL!!!

Took the wife here in order to fuck up the eel. I love eel. Eel is so good. She got the miso and some chicken roll that I made fun of her for. She liked it but I personally do not support chicken sushi.

The best sushi in Florida. Hands down! Veggie options are amazing too! Don't miss out on the Ramen, Yakisoba, and Hibachi. Fried ice cream is the best dessert on the menu. Thank you to the staff and chefs for making our time here amazing. We have come twice a week (maybe more) for the past month and it's 5 stars every time.

The spread at Ocean Blue never disappoints!

The restaurant wasn't very busy so we were surprised especially because the server started out seemingly great. Then the $56 lobster came out cold and in 2 hours of a 4 person dinner we were only able to get the servers attention to get 1 drink each. When we asked to speak with a manager she came out on the offense and was incredibly rude. I don't think I would go back to eat here, but I definitely suggest seeing the sunset on the rooftop! Also- The shishito peppers were delish!

The Deep End is on the 11th floor. Since it was super windy out, they had the high-tech premium screen windshields down, so you couldn't really see the exterior, including the water views and the Gulf. You can't really hear the wind noise either these were high tech sun windscreens. We have the Shishido peppers and they were absolutely delicious. Definitely a must get when you order anything at this place. My better half got the corn and it was OK. I wouldn't order that again. He also got a number of different drinks that I also would never order here, including the passion martini. I would just stick to the usual original drinks such as the bloody Mary, daiquiris. We both like this strawberry basil Collins drink. That was the highlight of the night that my better half and I both agree since we don't agree on much when it comes to food and drinks lol. I wish the drinks would have garnish in them such as mint leaves, slices of oranges, etc. They have french fries here that are thin, just like McDonald's fries and they're absolutely delicious. I will get these every time when I come here. I can't wait until it gets warmer out, and I would come here for a late lunch and just soak in the view

It was crazy hot so we couldn't sit on the patio but at sunset it was still a stunning view. Kalby was an absolute pleasure to be serviced by. She was attentive and used her talents to help recommend entrees from the menu. Our starter was the bulgogi skewers which were perfectly balanced with sweet and Korean spice. The edamame was our least favorite dish. I did discuss this with kalby and the manager. The idea was there but poor execution. The gochujang sea salt...the gochujang just wasn't there and once you ate that top layer all you got was oily edamame, so much oil...you wouldn't need chapstick for the rest of the day. Then wins though came from the cocktails. Ours were delicious and my old fashion was spot on. Also in the win was the sunset sushi, beautiful and fantastic, along with Korean crispy chicken. The peanut sauce was the perfect balance to that meal. Now...what we also loved that should be permanently on the menu was the mochi. We had 4 of them and they were wonderful! Everyone should be able to experience these. But ocean hai on your list as a must try place for sure.

The first night we came, it was so packed that we sat at the bar and it was crazy because the bar tender remembered me from years ago and was like " I will always remember you because of your height and hair and butterfly tattoos" lol. We ordered baked oysters, cold peel n eat shrimp with old bay seasoning for starters and my little one loves shrimp. For dinner I ordered the shrimp scampi and a cheese pizza for my princess who ate 5 pieces . She said it was delicious. Avoid the frozen lemonade--it contains an excessive amount of sugar and is far from worth the cost. Our party included a rambunctious three-year-old and three other children; the youngest was 1 year old and the oldest was 89. We took the advice of the staff and pre-ordered the bruschetta appetizer to tide us over until entrees arrived. Waitstaff was fabulous!! Jonas saw and tended to every need, in addition to making each diner (including the children) feel like royalty. His patient professionalism subtly taught how things go in white-tablecloth restaurants. Some ordered sushi (and ate every scrap), some ordered the filet or the New York Strip, some ordered other specials (pistachio-crusted hogfish, grilled Red Snapper (SO GOOD!!), cedar plank salmon, Island Way-prepared snapper ~ all pronounced delicious! Children ordered grilled chicken and buttered noodles and ate every smidge. Food was served hot and promptly. We had backup games prepared but we really only had to bring out Round 1 of those! Kudos to Island Way and Jonas for our spectacular meal!! Notes: Children's menus were a hit, but we had to grab crayons from the car. Take some crayons if you have kiddies. Valet parking is complementary; tips are appreciated. We could have skipped the bruschetta. It was okay, but not spectacular. Still, it did help some of our young adults handle the wait for the main courses. We'll be back next year ~ and we'll ask for Jonas! We weren't seated until around 8:20 PM. The restaurant was extremely busy. They had a separate gluten-free menu which was nice. Once we were seated, it took a while for our waitress to come over, but we understood because of how crowded it was. Unfortunately, when she did come to the table, she seemed extremely rushed and it came across a little rude. I had several questions about gluten-free precautions, and every time I asked something she quickly said "yes" without really explaining. We ordered the Millionaire Bacon, oysters and the octopus as appetizers since both were listed on the gluten-free menu. I specifically explained that both needed to be prepared gluten-free. On the menu, it even notes in parentheses what needs to be removed to make certain dishes gluten-free. When the appetizers arrived, I noticed the octopus still had the red sauce that the menu said must be removed. I stopped our waitress as she rushed by, and she quickly said it was gluten-free and walked away. My husband had just put some in his plate when the server, who had brought the food out, came back and asked if we had eaten any yet because it had not been made gluten-free. He immediately took it back and returned with a gluten free one. When I mentioned it to our waitress, though, she kind of just shrugged it off. For dinner, I had the seafood bowl, and my daughter, who also eats gluten-free, had the salmon with potatoes au gratin. My son and his girlfriend got sushi, and my husband had the fish Clearwater style. Everything looked great when it came out, and I double-checked that my meal was gluten-free. The server confirmed it was. Overall, the food tasted really good. The only issue was my daughter's potatoes au gratin there was so much grease pooled on top that she ended up not eating it because they were basically inedible and her salmon was over cooked and had zero seasoning. Overall, our meal was good. The restaurant was packed, and we were disappointed that we missed the chance to sit outside and watch the sunset, but that was obviously due to the rain and not the restaurant's fault.
