Located in the Century Center building on the 24th floor, you will find one of the best Thai…read moremassage places in Honolulu. I like Thai massage as they do deep pressure and some stretching. Most massage therapists can't go deep but these ladies are strong and then they walk on your back which gives the pressure I like. One thing I don't care for is that it seems that they have a routine of massage and don't really work the place I want them to so I have to remind them of my problem area so they give it more attention. When you make an appointment with them, they will text you reserved stalls that you can park in as sometimes the visitor stalls are taken up which is nice that you don't have to worry about it. Overall this place is clean and the people are friendly and it's a fair price which is why I have come here multiple times.

I've never seen any of the other therapists here, but I can vouch for Pinky. She is great at relaxing Swedish massage and also really good at deep tissue. I had to ask her to back off slightly at one point, she is definitely strong so ask for more pressure if you need, she can deliver! Pinky is friendly and has a nice calming demeanor. After the massage, there is no rush to get you out the door, hot tea and water are provided while you relax and enjoy the view. I've never been pressured to give a tip and once was told that I tipped too much and was given money back. Not something you would normally see. I myself am a licensed therapist and I have taken some of Pinky's techniques and incorporated them into my own work. I can't recommend her highly enough!! Go see Pinky asap!

Wish I could give 0 stars. I called to make the reservation. They asked me if I was paying cash, I…read moresaid no, but I will be giving the tip in cash. People forget that unless they have a policy for this, we're not obligated to give cash. Anyway, massage way too rough, I get a massage once a month and I've been doing it for years, so I know when someone just doesn't know how to do it. The moment comes to pay, my masseuse wasn't happy when I said I was paying on card, but I told her I had the tip in cash. I gave her $20 and asked for change. I've been in the restaurant industry for 11 years. Let's not forget tips ARE NOT MANDATORY, and a should be what the customer believes fair. She looked hosted and started complaining IN MY FACE about the tip, then out of nowhere she pretends to not have cash to give me back. So you're telling me that a place that's adamant on getting their payments in cash, doesn't have cash to give back? I started getting frustrated because she was being rude and ungrateful, I told her to keep it. If you are so desperate for it, be my guest, keep it. She comes out and says "I don't have cash but I have an orange". Excuse me??? What if I had given her an orange instead of money??doing this strategy in order to keep the amount of tip that they want is petty, embarrassing and unprofessional. Please stop supporting businesses that complain to the customer about the tips they're getting. As I said, I've been in the restaurant industry for 11 years, not once have I complained about a tip, it's unacceptable and unprofessional. Go somewhere else, don't waste your time here.

Please note this resides in a makeover apartment but I honestly hardly noticed it. It's super clean and as you can see in the screenshot, the views is amazing. I definitely recommend doing this at night. It adds to the overall experience and ambiance!! What's better than nicely smelling candles with roses and awesome backdrop! The ladies are super nice and friendly. They allow time for you to soak up the view and decorations to do things like post on social media or just take memorable photos. They offered to take couple pictures for us. It was super nice. The massage itself was much needed after all the hiking and adventures we did prior. Please be mindful that it is a Thai massage.... No pain no gain lol. But honestly it's a "hurt so good" kind of pain. I loved it. I let them do them and crank out all my knots. My body felt like it was 18 again lol. The ladies periodically ask if it's okay or too painful so speak up if you can't handle it.... I don't understand all the bad reviews saying it's painful. Relax yourself and stop tensing up and I guarantee you'll enjoy it. Maybe it was the holiday seasons but it was hard to get into contact with the massage place. But once they texted back it was pretty seamless. Probably best bet is to let your platinum card concierge service handle it if you have the Amex card.

She was going to be the one giving the massage to both of us? And where were the decorations??? We walked out of that building right away. Extremely disappointed--this ruined my plans for my boyfriend's 30th birthday.

Upon arrival we had to use the bathroom first which was outside and upstairs in the building. I want to put in a good word for Dustin who was most helpful providing excellent customer service with escorting us to the bathroom to show us the location. I was fortunate with having him do my hot stone massage as well. The professionalism and personable demeanor as well as having very skillful hands with the accommodations of pressure provided the most relaxing massage. The hot stones were a nice addition. However, if you want a solid massage in a studio that's convenient and clean, I think you'll like Island Therapy. I've been seeing Mai for about a year. She's a very skilled massage therapist -- don't let her small frame fool you, she's strong and really knows how to work out knots. She's also an intuitive therapist; she always seems to know exactly where I'm hurting. I should mention that Mai's massages lean therapeutic rather than relaxing, so if you're looking for something more soothing, let her know beforehand. I have an old injury, and her massages have made a real difference -- I used to have a constant, dull ache, but since seeing her once a month, I haven't had any issues. Booking is done through text, and I usually hear back within 20-30 minutes -- very convenient. I also think her prices are very reasonable, especially given her level of skill. I once saw a massage therapist who charged $350 for a two-hour massage -- great massage, but not sustainable long-term. Island Therapy's prices are reasonable enough that I can keep up with monthly massages. As for the space, the office is in a nondescript building, After you book your massage they'll send you instructions on entering the secured building. Parking is free and convenient.
