Our dinner at Ocean 302 was very nice. They had plenty of options on their menu. The service was delightful. All of our food was very good. Calamari was to die for, but very spicy. The fish and chips were good. The dill on the crab cake sandwich was a little dilly for me, but it was still very good. The fries were unique and amazing. And the pasta was very very good. It wasn't very busy, and it was a nice place to eat for dinner.

Visiting Melbourne beach, looking in, restaurant seemed like casual beachy bar but once seated, the atmosphere is more nicer dining (like a steak house). Ordered a bunch of different entrees (for 17 of us!) and plates were well executed in presentation and taste. Just the mahi mahi bites bit soggy. Drinks were strong and generous pour. Service bit slow in food but friendly and competent. Place was packed for Tgiving eve - not sure if they take reservations (we were lucky to be seated at high table top right away).

One of our mainstays when living here & certainly one of my favorite places. An ever changing specials list of new flavors & items keeps it fresh & new. The main menu is updated each season as well. Excellent chef & kitchen staff ensure consistency of very good prepared, cooked & presented food. There's something for everyone. From going solo to a large family or group, 302 always hits the mark. 7 in our party while back in town for a week long visit. Enjoyed 4 appetizers, unique special entrees & some staples. I had a grilled snapper sandwich as you cannot beat their fresh fish! My son had the Short rib Bolognese pasta. A Goddess Salad with Grilled Salmon was brought to the table & is a house favorite! As was a roasted Rosemary Chicken Breast. A pork chop that was massive & tender. Rack of lamb is a common special here - this night it was Jamaica Jerk spiced which steered me away but one at our table ordered it & said it wasn't an over powered Jerk spiced & the purple potatoes were awesome. We splurged for a sample of some desserts to celebrate an upcoming birthday. Each dessert was exceptionally good! Service is as professional as you'll find with great care at each point of service.

"5 stars! The fish and chips at Ocean 302 were absolutely classic comfort done right."

"5 stars! The fish and chips at Ocean 302 were absolutely outstanding--perfectly crispy beer-battered haddock that's flaky and fresh inside, paired with those addictive fries and a killer spicy tartar sauce. Generous portion, full of flavor, and just the right amount of crunch. Hands down one of the best versions I've had in Florida. Can't wait to go back for more! Highly recommend if you're craving classic comfort done right."

Kelly was our server Tuesday night and provided excellent service. We came in about 8:30pm and they close at 9 but they did not rush us. We ordered two scallops because they were sold out (normally a 4 piece order). She gave us a discounted price. We shared a crab cake which was very tasty and moist. Also shared cauliflower bites. The space is very large and upscale. They have an excellent happy hour 4-6pm with 20% off pizzas and appetizers. We came back last night for HH and I got some tap wine pinio Grigio and husband got tap ale for cheap. We split a truffle pizza which was more than enough food. Such a great location and atmosphere. It says a lot when we come back the next day during our vacation when there are other places to choose.

Tried on a whim and whims hardly ever steer me wrong. We grabbed a high top near the bar and started people watching...lots of locals which is always a good thing and our vantage point allowed us to survey a lot of the entrees as they left the kitchen on the way to the patrons. Our server was very nice and has been there for nine years and seems half her family also worked there....even though she was not the owner. Longevity says something I suppose. We ordered an app and it was very good... spinach artichoke dip. Check out the picture. I had Charlie's burger, lamb.... and DAMN it was good. The mahi mahi sandwich was also a large flavorful portion. Pro tip: The price of a sweet iced tea was 5 bucks.....For that price might as well have a beer :) We will be back to try some other items...we saw the pizza's were huge and they have HH specials on the board by the bar......

First, after fishing all day and it was a few mins after 9'o'clock we were starving for food! Craving some apps and a pizza. I'll be honest, this wasn't my first choice but it was open. But I'm sooo glad we came. Came and in and we were greeted and seated immediately. We sat down looked over the menu a bit and Zeke came over with his beaming smile and went through the menu with us because I had questions. We ordered our apps and the pizza. Ambiance was really nice. Lots of tvs and plenty of seating. The restroom at this establishment by far is one of theeee cleanest I've seen. Zeke said they even offer mouthwash. I didn't see nor did I need it, but that's fancy! Lol! Fried calamari was so good! Perfectly battered and fried. I love that it came with 2 dipping sauces even though we didn't dip at all. We normally don't dip not that there's anything wrong with the sauces. Brussel sprouts with bacon with feta cheese without the balsamic glaze. One of the best Brussel sprouts we've had. And we usually order it if it's on the menu and most establishments. I was disappointment that most of the bacon pieces that were with the app came out burnt. And it just left a bad taste in your mouth. So we ate everything but the bacon. Which I was sad about because who doesn't love bacon?! I asked Zeke which pie is most closest to a supreme pizza. He suggested the charcuterie. I took his suggestion. The flavoring of the pizza was good. The pizza sauce wasn't too sweet or too tart. The dough was good. The crust was good. The toppings were good. Their sausage was the best thing from the meats. The only thing I didn't appreciate was the slices I think were made too thin because when we tried to pull off a slice, literally the toppings came off the pizza OR the slice came apart on the tray. Overall, we enjoyed the service, food, and ambiance. We definitely will return. They have happy hour and it looks like they will show games and stuff in their tvs. Love that.

Went here for a co-worker's bday when we were in town. They were super accommodating for big groups which was nice, easy to split the bill and friendly waitstaff. They have a simple menu which some options for non seafood eaters. Def a place that just keeps yo the basics which I can respect. No frills decor. Here's what we got: - Crab cake: 4/5 decent crab cake served as 1 big piece so just keep that in mind if you are sharing as an app. - Beet salad: 3/5 nothing crazy on the flavor side but a good salad if you're not into iceberg or romaine, hit the spot for a little green - Grilled Branzino: 4.5/5 pretty impressed with this one, whole fish so it was a pretty large portion, but that means you have to be careful with the bones which can be a little tedious Had some red wine to go with it which hit the spot

We arrive on time for our reservation. We are greeted, if that's what you want to call it, by a tall older man. I swear he looked at us like, can you really afford to eat here? So the initial interaction was rather poor. I like to give people the benefit of the doubt, so maybe he just had a bad day. Yeah, apparently not. The place is very pretty and certainly airs of a higher end establishment. After Mr. Snooty took us to our table, we were greeted by, ready for this, and even more snooty lady. Think Mrs. Howell. It's kind of like going on a date with a psychiatrist, knowing that they are judging every word that's coming out of your mouth. Lol. So after getting a lay of the land from her, we ordered some drinks, which were fantastic. Then the first course came and it was fabulous. We had the escargot and the oysters Rockefeller. Yum. The Escargot was buttery and soft. The oysters were well seasoned and perfectly cooked. We tried a lobster bisque and it was so so good. The touch of sherry was perfect. As for the Caesar's salad, this was the star of the evening. It was one of the best I've had and is what a Caesar salad should taste like. I am seriously considering going back there just for that salad. For dinner my wife had a lobster tail. She reports it was excellent. The snooty lady wanted me to try some special they had, but I went for the lamb chops. Again, perfect, medium rare. Winner. Snooty lady went uber obnoxious snooty after I didn't pick her choice. I was scared for the rest of the night. Overall price to food value, negative 100 billion. Food was fantastic. $250 for the portion sizes not worth it. Then again, even if they were bigger, not worth the price. Like I said, go for the salad and pass on the rest. Make you car payment and go to a more reasonably priced place that won't treat you like you need to have a credit report or occupation that they might approve of. Oh and they had some nice live music. That was good. Too bad, the staff put a damper on the birthday dinner.

First, our server Michael was the least skilled of any I have been in contact with over my 69 years. He showed no interest in us, had no personality, acted indifferent, and was borderline rude. He constantly reached in front of me without the courtesy of "excuse me". He didn't bother to come back to the table after serving our entree and inquire how the food was. For that matter, we never saw a manager the 2.5 hours we were there. Second, while the appetizers came in a reasonable time, the entrees took over 45 minutes to arrive. Michael apologized once and said they were plating our dishes only to return 15 minutes later. This was likely not his fault but D'Jon's had an opportunity to make it right with us but did nothing. I had had to tell Michael a second time that "this wait wasn't working for me". Third, I don't mind paying a premium price when receiving value. That is not available at this establishment. The portion size of the Tomato Salad was laughable. As was our search to find the Salmon in the seafood pasta evening special. Typically we give a business a second chance knowing that everyone has a bad day. With everything that went wrong, we will not return. The service, the food, and the wait were a complete let-down.

The Medjool dates with millionaire bacon and goat cheese and I am not exaggerating when I say this dish could solve international conflicts. Sweet pineapple, salty bacon, creamy goat cheese, and a drizzle of what tasted like the chef whispering sweet nothings the way I'm romantic. I was going to order a second dose for "research purposes." Truffle Honey Chicken Tenders (Not Your Childhood Lunchbox) is the most misleading name ever because "tenders" sounds like something you eat in a drive thru parking lot (I'd pick Bojangles of course). These were crispy, sticky, sweet, slightly spicy, and basically the PhD version of chicken fingers a bit dry but the sauce make it good. Brussels sprouts usually remind people of childhood trauma. These charred brussels sprouts with honey, soy, ginger, and peanuts tasted like the chef personally apologized to every person who had ever been forced to eat boiled vegetables in 1987. Smoky, sticky, crunchy, slightly sweet. I would willingly eat vegetables here again, which is a sentence I never thought I would say out loud! We build a strategy to devide an conquer in a unique waiter (I hate the name server, it sounds like tennis) recommendation that was impressive! My brother ordered the heritage pork chop, which looked like it had been bench pressing in the kitchen before arriving at the table. Perfect crust, juicy inside, sitting on sweet potato hash with a slaw piled on top like a fashionable hat and I went with the snapper catch of th day for a surf and turf combo! I considered banging on the door at 3 am for another dose of pork chop like I was in college and wanted the party to go on My brother was impressed with the Blackbird Arise that showed up like it owned the table. He said it was smooth, bold, and dangerous because it makes you start considering dessert when you absolutely do not need dessert. I don't drink so I take his word for it. The women weren't behaving so thy split a smash burger and truffle fries, which means our ordering strategy was clearly "yes." The burger had that glossy brioche bun that looks like it was polished before serving, and the fries were exactly the kind that disappear before you realize you have eaten most of them. A smash burger is supposed to drip greese down your arm and this didn't. This strategy ensured my spot on the couch for bedtime. If you go, order two doses of the dates so you don't have to bring a date.

The fatty portion of my Prime Rib was excessive. I get that ribeye-style cuts derive flavor from fat, but this was to the point where it overwhelmed the dish and left me wishing I had ordered the lower-cost ribeye instead. On top of that, it came out medium instead of medium-rare, which didn't help. That said, others at the table ordered the NY Strip and Ribeye, and both looked excellent--cooked properly and more in line with what I'd expect from a steakhouse at this level. Highlights of the meal: Brazilian sliders were fantastic--definitely a must-order appetizer Oxtail stroganoff was rich and well executed Mac & cheese was a solid side Cocktails were creative and well made Overall, I've had better steaks at lower price points, but also worse ones at higher-end spots. Based on what I saw from other dishes, I'd absolutely give Ember & Oak another shot--just not with the Prime Rib next time.

We had a reservation and were seated as soon as we walked in. The actual restaurant was very clean and had a nice vibe to it! The seating was comfortable and spacious. Our server was a male (I forget his name) but he was great! He was very friendly, informative of the menu, and also attentive! Service can make or break your experience so I am glad we had a great server! My boyfriend said he had the best lemonade he has ever had. Our food was incredible. Everything tasted so fresh! We got a mixture of a bunch of things. I shared the steak and they were able to cut it in half and cook it at two different temperatures. The steak and mac n cheese were soo delicious!! Our server was kind enough to bring out a birthday dessert and package our food up for us! I knew the prices before walking in here, so I knew exactly what to expect. Most of the reviews say it's too expensive. It was "expensive" but the prices seemed VERY reasonable for the quality of food and the amount given. Overall, I had a great experience and I will definitely be back!
