I have been going to Soni's for about a year now after my old waxing lady moved out of state, and I am so happy with this hidden gem! This place is open until 7pm which is perfect for me because I get off work at 5pm. Brow and lip threading only costs $13 which is such a steal, plus you get a nice is little face massage at the end. I went in to get my eyebrows done this week and am very happy with the results! Soni was not in, so Hina did them. I have been getting them waxed for years by the same woman, so I was very nervous to have them done by someone new. My eyebrow lady is on vacation and I needed to get them done for an event, and I am really glad I gave Soni's a chance! Came here on a weekday afternoon to get my brows done. Didn't have to wait at all. My person was informative when I asked about the henna, but a little rougher than I'm used to when it came to the threading. Also upon further inspection, I noticed that she missed some spots along my brows which I took care of later. Not bad though, $9 for quick service on my brows. read more

Are you in the middle of an Eyebrow Crisis? Throw away your tweezers and head over to Soni After several years of overplucking my brows and finally tossing out the tweezers the eyebrows which were sparse, thin and uneven are now perfectly arched and actually almost thicker than Kim Kardashian's brows!! Prior to relinquishing my brows to Soni I was a long standing client of Soni's. At the time I was seeing Soni twice per month for threading which I happened to just walk in to her salon on a whim after several bad experiences at Ziba it was then that I learned that after quietly wincing in pain while having my face ripped apart at Ziba that threading if done right does not hurt lol Upon first meeting Soni before she touched me she looked over my skin and the hair growth, thickness etc. and determined what needed to be removed and what did not. I also learned at that time the threaders at Ziba were unnecessarily removing hair from what would have been sideburns had they not been ripped off. What I absolutely LOVE about Soni is her knowledge of hair removal and overall skin care/analysis she is highly skilled and after entrusting my hair removal needs to her for 2 plus years I can honestly say the appearance, growth and thickness has significantly improved and my skin is no longer red, irritated and welted after getting threaded. Soni is and will always be part of my beauty entourage if it wasn't for her I would have over plucked thin eyebrows and a mustache. read more

I regret not getting the name of the girl who did my brows the first time I came, because what she had done made my brows look great, nicely shaped, defined, and more even. I just know it wasn't Soni because a few weeks later I came to look for that same girl and she wasn't there, so Soni did them for me. Today the lady that did my brows gave me the exact opposite and I am now regretting having come back here. Before she began, I pointed out that the left brow was slightly higher than the right. She said she would try to fix it but pretty much just did a clean up around them and actually made them both a little more misshapen. When she was done I pointed out the problem remained. She simply said "no they are the same" and gestured for me to look at the other mirror (where I could see even more that they were off and looked terrible, so this only dumbfounded me even more that she was simultaneously insisting that they were fine). Again, I wish I had gotten a name...this time for avoidance than seeking, but it was an older lady (not that age matters at all, just for the sake of description). What else can I do but look for another place...guess you should stick with the right person gals. read more

I was visiting home for Spring Break and BADLY needed to get my eyebrows done. I'm not really a huge fan of threading because I have sensitive eyes that easily water and it hurts lol. BUT I decided to give it another chance based off a lot of the good reviews I read. I went right in and they are VERY reasonably priced. It was $9 without a tip for my eyebrows and I didn't have to wait too long to get seen considering I did a Walk-In. I've been going to Soni's brows since it first opened. My first experience there was great, Soni did my eyebrows every time I went in. Leaving my brows perfect and flawless. Over the years the quality of brow threading began going downhill. Soni stopped doing eyebrows as often as she used to and I was forced to have them done by one of the other available ladies there. I HATED IT! Three words perfectly describe how the other ladies did eyebrows ROUGH, CRAPPY AND MISHAPED. Needless to say I stopped going and would only pop in when I was desperate and only would get them done by Soni. Also the location is less than 5 minutes from my house such a hassle trying to find another brow threading place that was close to my house when I really needed them done. One day my mom told me a new person started working there.. .Anisa. She was amazing! My eyebrows have never been done better! Her threading was done so gently but thourough enough to get every hair. She never let me get up from the chair without making sure my eyebrows were absolutely perfect! Then.... Anisa left. Assuming she had been overworked due to everyone requesting her. The place has gone to crap again. Back to CRAPPY, ROUGH MISHAPEN THREADING JOBS. Today was the last time I will ever step foot in "Soni's brow and beauty" my eyebrows have always been on fleek and Rosha or Roshaun or whatever the F*** her name is, absolutely F***** up my brows!!! Then tried to say they always looked like that. I was practically in tears that's how bad they looked! I have two bald spots on each brow and my right one goes outward and my left goes down. I went to Soni hoping she would fix it and she removed a couple of hairs and said it was fine, then charged me full price! RIDICULOUS! For all of you ladies and gentleman out there that value your eyebrows I suggest NEVER GOING HERE!!! You will leave with your eyebrows being uneven, patchy and completely MESSED UP! ANISA WHERE ARE YOU?!??!? I always go here to get my eyebrows done and they do such a great job. I walk in thinking my eyebrows look decent but then I walk out with them looking fantastic. The last time I was here a lady that I don't usually have do my eyebrows did them and they turned out a little to thin for my liking. This is the best place to go for a wax or threading! I drive a good 20 minutes and have for the last year and a half because I love Soni. Not only is she incredibly kind, but she also knows her stuff. Her salon is clean and very little wait time. After years of bad waxes, my eyebrows have never looked better and she gives the most painless Brazilian wax - not to mention the prices are great. I choose to go to Soni over the so-called "brazilian wax salons" that are overpriced and I have had some questionable experiences in a few in OC, to say the least. I wanted to give a shout out to the ladies at Soni's. I'm a 23 year old male and have lived in south Orange County my whole life. I've gone to a handful of threading salons in the area and have never had the quality of customer service I feel that the ladies at the salon give me. I started coming here about a year ago and have had a few of the ladies here clean up my eyebrows. I am always greeted with a smile and I always leave feeling like I've been appreciated as a regular customer.
