I have a medium-haired cat that I take to get shaved every 8-9 months. It usually consists driving to a groomer and then a 7 or 8 hr turnaround. I found OC Mobile Pet Salon on-line and was so pleased. Nikki is lovely and she was very quick with the clippers. We were in and out of the trailer in maybe 30 mins. Definitely much less stress on my little furry companion, not to mention we didn't have to waste an entire day. The rates are very reasonable, especially given how effortless the process was. Nikki also stayed in touch as to when she was a few hours out and when she was em route. I had a great experience and will be reaching out again next year when it's time for another groom sesh. I understand you are downsizing your business but when you say you will get back to me, my expectation is you will get back to me. Cody is a golden doodle so this dog gets his haircut more than me. Nikki and OC Mobile Pet Salon really made my life easier! I texted mid-week for an appointment and was given options for Saturday or Sunday which worked for my schedule. We waited a month to have our Soft Coated Wheaton Terrier groomed by OC mobile pet salon because she came highly recommended. I understand that these dogs coats are very difficult to groom. Eventhough we brush him twice a day he had mats. She advised us that the best thing to do was to shave him. We asked her to please not shave him if at all possible. 35 minutes later he comes back into the house COMPLETELY SHAVED!! He isn't even shaved evenly!! He has patches of uneven hair covering his body. $120 for a 35 minute grooming appointment! She must have been in a hurry to get to her next appointment. I will never ever use her again or refer her service. I typically only leave positive results on yelp and let my less than positive experiences slide. This experience needed to be acknowledged. I am extremely disappointed and out $120 of my hard earned money. Edited to note that I did speak to the owner and she is refunding the cost of the haircut which I greatly appreciate. read more

I haven't found a better groomer since we got our fur baby 10 years ago. The owner Nikki has been such a treat to work with and Maria has always done an excellent job with our cavalier. If you use OC Mobile make sure your dog does not have a single mat on its fur. I had used them several times never having issues and one time my older dog had some mats and the groomer refused to groom her after I combed through the mats myself. The owner was also very rude and only communicated via text didn't even have the courtesy of speaking to me over the phone. She states she has a mat free policy. They also charged me for doing nothing to her. Will never use or refer this company to anyone. read more

I had a good well done experience a few months ago with full grooming by an employee of OC Mobile Pet Salon. My little 21 lb. Cockapoo looked and smelled great afterwards after about 1.5-2hours so it was well worth the $105 plus tip. When I scheduled again for another grooming appointment I could not get one for about 3 weeks. The appointment was for 10am last Sunday,the groomer who came was the owner, she came almost a full hour late. She brought my dog back 45 minutes later and he didn't smell like he had been bathed. His overall trim on body and legs was done well but top of his head, beard was choppy and uneven & so were his pretty silky ears, though I know there were some mats to remove. For $105 I felt my pet was not taken care of well. I texted the owner to express that and she texted back-"I'll rip up your check" I texted that was not necessary but wanted to give her feedback; thinking she would say Sorry and I will make it right next time. We scheduled an appointment for this morning at 8:00am and she was a no show. The appointment was confirmed on Friday and yesterday I sent her a text to confirm this morning and I did not receive a response. I sent her another text this morning and did not even get the courtesy of a reply. Very unprofessional. She had a concern as to parking and the limitations - we suggested Google Maps and to get her a tad bit early. IF this was a deal breaker, we should have known of this on Friday. The reason for my urgency is that I have surgery scheduled and do not have time to take him to the groomers. Unfortunately, I can not recommend these folks. The day of my appointment (Saturday), they canceled hours before due to a groomer calling out sick (Can't really be mad at that...it happens) but I then had to re-schedule for the next day. I had an EXTREMELY busy day the next day, but was luckily able to move stuff around to squeeze in a 12PM appointment. The groomer ended up being an hour late which threw off my entire afternoon. No apology or indication they are running late as well.... Just a "We're on our way" 20 minutes PAST my appointment time. It's just extremely rude and unprofessional. While the groomer herself was extremely friendly, and the cut itself looked great, she had cut my dogs nails too short and my poor pooch was bleeding from his paws all over my carpet. Wish I could get a partial refund. Had I known I was going to pay over $100 for them to be an hour late and make my dog bleed, I probably would have canceled. read more

Avoid! So disappointing. We have used their service a few times a few years ago and were happy until one visit when our dog was not given the service we asked for. When I contacted the owner at that time she told me that she had sent a brand new groomer who didn't know what was expected, she apologized, and she refunded my money. We hadn't called for a long time but I reached out recently and had to call THREE times before receiving a call back to make an appointment. Today, my scheduled day, I received a call from the owner telling me that she had gone to text me about their ETA and noticed that I was a customer they had worked with before and remembered that we had an issue where they had to refund us so she was canceling my appointment. I'm so disappointed because she did it on the day we were scheduled! I was really counting on the grooming for my 11 1/2 year old dog because it's hard for me to take him somewhere with his arthritis. I had something come up at the last minute and needed my 65 lb. Labrador groomed asap. I called OC Mobile Pet Salon and left a message. They called the next day and even though they were booked, they let me on their cancellation list. Well mow and behold this morning I got a call saying they had a cancellation and asked if I still needed their services. Within 45 minutes, the OC Mobile Pet Salon pulled up and got to work. My lab is normally very nervous and has terrible separation anxiety. This was not the case at all with OC Mobile. The technician was awesome. She was attentive, relaxed, and immediately put my dog at ease. One hour later and my dog is clean, has been de-shedded (yay!) and is happy as can be. And the final cost was absolutely reasonable given the time spent and the fact they came to me. Great service. I would absolutely be calling them again!! read more
