Then go look for another one. Then go back to the first one. And alternate between the 4 nearest depending on our schedule and how they were doing and etc. After explaining my frustration to my fellow dog owner friends, we were highly recommended to check out Ruff Haus Grooming and we are so glad we did because we finally found a grooming home for our little fur baby! From the minute our fur baby arrived, the owners were so very nice, warm, and patient. Our baby is not the most "friendly dog" especially to strangers especially when he knows we are at the Vet or at a groomer but Ruff Haus Grooming team was so loving, he eventually let his guard down. The best part? It's like that TV show Cheers! They remember us, remember our baby, and remember how we like his cut, and etc. America was built on hard working small family businesses like this and I'm so very happy for them. He was groomed so well my wife asked the groomer if he could cut my hair LOL! I usually talk to the groomer (Kevin) who is the master groomer who is amazingly gifted at what he does. Very straight to the point peronsality which i love. I don't have time for small chat: I'm usually in a rush to drop off the dog so I can go play golf or pickleball! My wife is the one that schedules everything and takes our baby to grooming and usually talks to the lady who I believe is the wife: she's the very friendly and outgoing person who my wife usually interacts with. As reasonably priced as you'll find in the industry and for dollar for dollar, this is as good as it gets around here. We drive 35 minutes each way and it's worth every dollar and minute!

I loved that he doesn't force the dogs to go in the water, but also doesn't just let them avoid it. He noticed my dog was just having fun running AROUND the pool, but wouldn't try and swim, just splash on the shallow part. So he would go and get him and baby-step him into the deep side. They don't overbook like they used to, so dogs aren't sitting in kennels for hours, and it's no longer a loud, stressful environment full of barking and whining which gives most dogs anxiety. I've been taking her here for so long that I thought 3-5 hours was just the norm for grooming, but not anymore! This time, I booked an appointment, when I got there he looked at his notes from last time he groomed her and made sure I wanted the same cut (previous groomers never did that) and then he immediately got to work on my pup and then she was done for pick up in about a little over an hour! and she looked and smelled amazing. Andy Kitchen did a fantastic job! Her haircut was perfect, exactly what I asked for and my girl came out happy, clean, and looking her best. We both love it here now more than ever! I have a husky mix and have had bad experiences in the past so I like to make it overly clear to the point where I showed a photo of a husky's butt. I come back to get my dog and they have shaved her entire back side and tummy. They claimed it was matted, it was NOT matted she has an undercoat. Her undercoat is completely shaved off. It is going to take all year for this to grow back and until then she won't be able to regulate her temperature. I know the groomers couldn't know this but I don't live around here anymore I'm visiting. I live where it's very cold and snows. She WILL get cold. I was given a full refund after driving back over and insisting but this is just insane for this to happen at all. It is rule #1 of grooming, you DO NOT shave a dog with an undercoat * * Edit: Thank you Victor for taking the steps to address this issue and taking responsibility.

I spoke to the owner (Kelsey) directly and told her my situation and how we had just rescued Charlie. Without hesitation Kelsey told me to head right down and she would make room in the busy schedule. We are so happy we found this amazing shop with awesome groomers! The location is super nice and clean. No issues with parking as they have their own private lot and street parking. Once inside the groomers met us with smiles and took our new pup to the back. They showed us what kind of shampoos and conditioners they were using, and everything was top-notch. Cleaning took about 45 minutes, and when Charlie came out she looked amazing. No more dust or bugs! Just fresh fur, cleaned ears, trimmed nails, a nice touch of cologne, and a cute hanky around the neck.
