She made the whole grooming experience so comfortable and stress-free from the moment we walked in. Gureum is very sensitive dog. After grooming appointments at other places, she would sometimes have diarrhea or refuse to eat because of the stress, so I was always worried about taking her to a new groomer. This time was completely different. When we got home, Gureum ate well, played happily and slept peacefully. Our pup, Oliver, doesn't love getting baths, but the owner here really does a good job of helping Oliver to cope with his bath and groom. His grooms are always consistent and come out super cute! We usually get the puppy cut and like to have a "summer cut" to give some time for his fur to grow out. The owner does everything from head to toe and he always comes out looking super adorable. I usually don't leave bad reviews and I was very happy first time I took my dog here. Today was my second time and when I picked him up, during my check out the cashier told me that there is something wrong with my dog's skin and lots of hair came out when they were brushing. I first didn't understand what she meant by that and told her he had no problem before grooming. When they brought out my dog she showed me spots that was completely lost hair and red . I took my dog to emergency right after and they told me his skin was burnt or irritated by hair dryer or some sort of tool they might have used. Be aware of this if you are taking your dog here. Our dogs nipples were ALL cut off. Unbelievable our dog hated visiting this place and we feel so bad for having taken her to this place so many times. I hope other dogs don't get this treatment. I've only been here twice, but from what I can tell, this place does a great job of trimming your pooch. I originally went there with my first dog, and after he died, I just couldn't go back. Eventually, though, because good groomers are so hard to find, I decided to try this one out again for my current dog. Both dogs, which are small breed Maltese and Havanese, came out looking just adorable. No nicks or cuts, no nervousness, no trembling with fear, so I could tell they felt comfortable here. The only reason for 4 stars is I can't assess how they do on ear cleaning, teeth brushing, etc. and because I've only gone twice. read more
