Good and Bad. Luis quoted me $2000 to fix a large crack on the back of the sink, level an edge that was sticking out, regrout sink and repair three cracks. This was more than I expected but he said it would take 6-7 hours. He was very punctual and very nice when he came over. The back crack looks much better now and he did a decent job aligning the slab with the slab next to it but it is not perfectly smooth. I understand that this might be as much as they could do there. When he was done I asked him about fixing the cracks that were in the original quote but he said "it shouldn't be a problem." So maybe they will not become bigger cracks but I thought it would be buffed out? Or at least maybe not charge me for them? Luis and his helper were done in about 3 hours. I think Luis is quite nice and is very good at what he does, but would have appreciated it all looking as expected for the price charged. read more

I reached out to Luis about adding a protective layer to my marble island. He was very responsive and was able to stop by to check out the project. After the quote, he was out here within the week to deep clean and add the protective layer. He was very knowledgeable about the process and very detailed about our expectations. These guys are the best!!! Luis and crew came ready to work! We moved into our home with no one telling us that the shower tiles were all marble. I used a regular bathroom cleaner which lead to acid etching of the marble tiles. I promtly ruined the entire large shower area. I am so happy I randomly found OC Marble Restoration. After sending the picture of the area around the sink that was damaged by water and dish detergent, Luis assured me that he can fix it. I needed a custom countertop cut to fit a farmhouse sink. Installing a farmhouse sink by cutting the existing Caeserstone Quartz countertop is a task that needs precision ensuring the heat stays away from the countertop to not crack it. Luis did a fantastic job! We went from an oval cutout from my existing sink to a wider rectangular cutout.
