Just not above average. I ordered here at least 4 times before leaving a review. I have done pick…read moreup, online on their site and doordash. The worst experience was pick up. I made the mistake of ordering the strawberry cupcake thing dessert. Go to pick up. No dessert. I had to inquire why no dessert. Oh we are out. Do u want to try xyz? No sir. So do u want ur money back? Well yeah. Acted like it was a chore. That charleston pizza with the cheddar cheese made it forgivable. Ordered next time a pizza n sausage. Epic fail. Sat in the fridge for 5 days. Just ordered the charleston again sub some spicy pizza sauce. It looks nothing like the first Charleston. Tastes ok but nothing special. Check my pics. The parking lot is full of pot holes so be careful and very tight parking. For $20 for a medium pizza it should be darn good to compete with the million pizza places we have here. I will be heading back to village idiot. Just better bang for ur buck n tastes the same every time

If you like thin crust pizza or have dietary restrictions... this place is for you. Lots of special…read morediet offerings...Keto crust made from chicken, cauliflower crusts, and vegan cheeses. I'm more of a detroit style pizza fan, but as far as thin crust goes it's some of the best in Toledo. There are a lot of specialty pizzas to choose from. I've been trying one each time I order. Tonight was bbq brisket. It's a top seller, and as much as I love brisket this pizza wasn't it for me. There was a lot of sauce, but not much meat. It needs some onions or some additional toppings. A scant amount of brisket and just bbq sauce and cheese leaves it feeling unfinished. I ended up throwing some red onion and banana peppers on top to jazz it up.

The Stubborn Brother Pizza Bar - Seriously the best pizza I've had in a while. Perfect crispy chewy crust, litely sauces and just delicious NY style.

I live about an hour and a half south of Toledo, and after seeing Dave Portnoy's One Bite review of…read moreStubborn Brothers Pizza, it's been on my list of places to try. I haven't had a truly great pizza in Ohio yet--there are more below-average spots than average ones--so I had high hopes for Stubborn Brothers. After finally trying it, I can say it's the best pizza I've had in Ohio so far. I still wouldn't call it "great," but it's a very solid pizza. The standout for me was definitely the crust--that part was great. However, I was disappointed with the sauce; it was pretty bland and didn't taste like it was made from high-quality tomatoes (such as San Marzano tomatoes). On half of the pizza I ordered pepperoni, and again, it didn't strike me as a high-quality pepperoni. In closing, I'm glad I tried Stubborn Brother and would rank it at the top of my Ohio pizza list so far, mainly because of the crust. Next up on my list is Charlie Anderson's place in downtown Cleveland, "Good Pizza" (2057 E 4th Street, Cleveland, OH). To date, the closest and best overall pizza I've found is still "Tomatoes Apizza" in the Detroit suburb of Farmington Hills (The original location: 29275 W 14 Mile Rd, Farmington Hills, MI).

There was an entrance at the front but it looked like the locals were going through the back door so we followed suit. When we got in there definitely smelled like deliciousness and client service was pleasant. We ordered the twice baked garlic rolls, as well as a customizable pizza where we added bacon, mushroom, and pepperoni. We ordered a Coke and a Toledo sunrise for drinks. The twice baked garlic rolls were left to be desired. The ends were crispy but the middle just felt soggy. I wish it was actually twice baked. However, the pizza came out with really nice flavour as well as nice bottom crust. Beverages were beverages. Overall sports bar vibes..

Guys Pizza! A local pizza shop in the heart of east Toledo! You'll find a big difference in quality…read morecompared to other popular chains in Toledo. Everything is home made, never frozen dough, fresh sauce and ingredients. I've found this spot and I love that you can taste the quality in every bite. The cheese tastes fresh and not too overwhelming, the pizza itself isn't floppy or greasy. It's everything you could want from a local spot. Great pizza, great daily deals and a vast menu of delicious items to choose from. The only thing that would escalate the experience is a dine in experience. Skip going to the overpriced, overproduced pizza chains. Stop at a real local pizzeria with great flavor and real ingredients at a better price.

Somehow not right. I got sausage, onions, and peppers, and they were all very strange. The sausage is made in house, but the flavors aren't right for pizza sausage. The onions were too sweet, maybe? The green peppers were probably fine but somehow clashed with the onion and sausage. This may have been a cheese problem, because honestly whatever cheese they are using isn't very good. I feel bad leaving a negative review for a local small business, but with all the rave reviews I had high hopes, and this place was almost a total bust.
