The umami of the dry aged meat enveloped and coated my soul, and everything became unreal. The flavor of the chili is incredibly delicious and complex. The cheese, wow. The level of char how it starts more outside and as you travel into the center it becomes even juicier. So you get all the texture profiles of a smash burger, with that of a gourmet burger. Just every category of what a burger should be, this thing nailed it out of the park. If you don't try this burger you really need to just buzz off and not call yourself a foodie. I'm a huge dodger fan and Kyle Tucker made a video ad that had him visiting his fav LA spots on his day off. One spot was Amboy but the on out in Chinatown. The video made the huger look so delicious that I sent it to my best friend and she's like there's on in Covina! Closer to us so that was a great surprise. I wish we caught our servers name, she was so nice and helped us decided on what to get. We asked about the chili and she said it can be too sweet for some people but she liked and then she offered us a small sample of it and dude we were like oh yeah we getting something with chili Ok ok the food. We shared the chili cheese fries I got the Amboy and she got the Fancy. We also got the classic smash patties. Comes in 3 different classic, slim thick and the DH. It's cooked to perfection! It was juice about didn't fall apart on you, the caramelized onions elevated the burger. Even their bun stands out. I ended up take half home because we killed the fries and that burger was still just as delicious for lunch the next day. Oh and if you want to catch the dodger game, there's a huge tv behind the counter to enjoy. Overall there's nothing not to like about this spot. It's clean, simple menu that packs a punch, and the service is amazing. We can't wait to go back to try the hot dogs. Out server said they are good too.

Bun Street is…read morewell-reviewed and has a big following, so this wasn't a hard choice, although there is a small Hawaiian spot right near it that I'll have to try. Almost made it a Hawaiian day, but next time. So yeah, it's in a large strip mall with lots of parking. Inside is very spacious and lively, as advertised. Lots of mounted flat screens and plenty of neon signage to remind you that they also serve cold brews here. Definitely a happening spot for Dodgers games for sure. Menu is extensive with lots of options for burgers and sides. Took the recommendation from my awesome server and ordered the following: - Stinkin' Bun Burger - 9/10: yo, this was incredible. Brioche bun was perfectly crisped, patty was thick and full of flavor. Loved the garlic cheese spread. Just brought it to another level. Well-balanced and not too garlicky. Just delicious. Pro tip: Mon-Fri are their lunch specials. So you can get a side and a drink with your burger of choice at a reduced price. Otherwise, everything is a la carte. So yes, a good time was had by all!

Knocking off one star because the fries tasted like they were cooked in old oil.. it was a bit bitter. Our waitress was really nice and checked up on us and gave good recommendations. The inside has a bar area and they also have outdoor seating. Definitely recommend if you're craving burgers!

I ordered the tofu stew with sausage, and the portion was huge!! I ended up splitting it over two meals. I also added an egg for an extra $2.50, which was a nice touch. Overall, the stew was delicious and really hit the spot. The ordering process is pretty straightforward bc you pay first before finding a seat. There's also plenty of parking available outside, which is super convenient. One cute detail I loved was the small ice cream bar in the front which it adds a fun touch to the place. I'd definitely come back again!

The interior was a more empty feeling space but maybe it was because it was just empty on a Saturday evening. The food itself was honestly just okay. I have had some curry udon in the past, but it just feels like this was a packaged curry with udon noodles and sausage. This was not worth the price. Same with the spicy rice cakes. The sauce and soup was solid, but a bit too much tang and it felt more like a packaged rice cake you can buy from the store the cheese was melted at first, but it became hard quickly after. I don't think I'd recommend both of the items. The saving grace was the Korean fried chicken wings. These are good, the sauce was yummy, and the texture was great. I was disappointed because of the high remarks for this place.

The patty is smashed just right, with crispy, caramelized edges and a juicy, flavorful center, while the melted cheese blends perfectly into the beef. The bacon adds that extra smoky, savory crunch, which pairs insanely well with the subtle sweetness of the Hawaiian bun. It creates that perfect sweet-and-salty balance, with every bite hitting a mix of juicy, crispy, and soft textures. The toppings stay simple and fresh, letting the flavor of the burger really shine. I had it with a side of tater tots, which were crispy and satisfying, but honestly, I feel like the sweet potato fries might've been the better move. That slight sweetness would've complemented the burger even more and taken the whole meal up a notch. Overall, it's a standout burger--simple, flavorful, and done right. Definitely something I'd order again... next time with the sweet potato fries.
