Was craving bubble tea and this location was closest to us after lunch in Chinatown. There was a good variety of flavors. Kind of overwhelming. The toppings were handwritten at the register which wasn't appealing to the eye. Which is odd because they have fancy screens for flavor menu. I ordered a thai milk tea with grass jelly. Came by after a Seahawks game so that we could cheer up. Cheered our spirits up, but what bothers me the most when drinking bubble tea is having stale boba and this place sadly has it. The drink i ordered was a Milk Tea with a regular boba topping. They give you a ton of boba, more than any other place i have had,, so they are a plus on that. Tastes like regular milk tea. Nothing too terrible or too special about it. Some added notes: on a Thursday night after a Seahawks game, it was packed. Parking was easy though since most people were just walking from the game. Decent amount of tables in store. It takes about 15 minutes for your drink to be done, so not too long of a wait. On hot days and nights, they provide you free refillable cups of water only if you purchase a drink. There are also board games available for if you want to stay, chat, and hang out. Oasis isn't my favorriteeee bubble tea spot but it's decent! They have so many options but I find that most of the milk teas are too sweet and too artificially flavored. I didn't know there are options to lessen the sweetness levels but I'll have to give that a try next time. The location was well maintained with social distance stickers/signs and most of the seating moved away. All the staff I saw wore masks and there were a few standing tables available. I ordered a mango milk tea boba tea with black tapioca pearls and the consistency was ultimately poor. It separated after sitting for 10 minutes before I was ready to drink it and does not look appetizing. Their staff must not have prepared the milk tea base correctly. When shaken up it looks ok, and tastes decent mango with a few mango shreds with the tapioca pearl. The pearls themselves were too chewy and a little goopy. Wouldn't go back since tea shouldn't separate like this and the pearls are too soft. read more

After a hot meal in nearby Chinatown, it was only natural for my friend and I to venture into an oasis... a boba oasis at least! This rather large boba shop seems to attract a lot of high schoolers/undergrads to study and hang out on a chilly Fall evening. They offer a huge variety of drinks from all kinds of teas to foamy beverages, and Taiwanese snacks to compliment. Based on the Mango Milk Tea that I ordered, they rely too heavily on syrups and powders than using actual ingredients. It's fine then for a boba chain to use these to prepare their drinks, and thus Oasis also gets an average rating from me. Nothing about the drink necessarily wowed me but I didn't necessarily hate it either. Although the boba ended up being a lot harder than what I prefer. For a $5 drink, you get decent boba and a cool vibe inside. If it's the only thing open in the area, I'd be down to come back, but otherwise I'll look for another shop to get my boba fixing. read more

Best popcorn chicken. Yeah, I said it. 100% recommend, even though they're known for their Boba, get the chicken too. It's fried to perfection and seasoned with salt and black pepper. The pepper alone makes me sweat, but they do have a spicy sauce that goes with it and I imagine I'd need milk to put that fire out. They have a huge Boba menu, it can be overwhelming. My daughter likes the nectar with popping Boba and it's refreshing. I prefer slushy with tapioca balls myself, but I'm sure there isn't anything bad on the menu. I've been in with friends and my daughter, mostly at night and mostly during ID celebrations / Night Markets. It's a cool hang-out spot (am I aging myself by calling it that lol). Night time is their popular time (there is a neon sign that says "OG late night BOBA, as evidence) and it can get chaotic. I've never had to wait too long for orders, but it's not a quick in and out at night. Today is the first day I've come in with my daughter during lunch and it's almost empty, which is nice. They've removed some of the high top seating and added a couple of the booths in the back. Idk if it accommodates more people this way or less for seating. This was one of the original bubble tea spots in Chinatown before plethora of tea shops popped up. It's always busy, big, dark and just long lines. It was also a great spot during college days when you're underage too. I get to come get bubble tea on a Saturday nights the and pretend to be a grown up! Wooo! Well! It was always a ok. Nothing mind blowing or a must have except they open really late. And they have board game. But now! I've got to try their food thanks for china town food walk event. Quick, consistent and delicious! This is my go-to spot in Chinatown for bubble tea, and they have a punch card (which is valid at other Oasis locations too). I normally order the coffee milk tea, which isn't anything unique or super special, but it has a strong coffee and tea flavor without either being overpowering. I also like to order the popcorn chicken occasionally. Sauces are offered, but the chicken itself is seasoned really well and plenty flavorful on its own. Oasis recently added self-order "kiosks", which I'm not a fan of. They're kind of awkward to use, especially when a human is standing there, available to help but really just waiting for your drink order to be sent through the computer. read more

Oasis is a great spot for a quick bubble tea when you're in Chinatown :) I love its proximity to the stadiums, the shops, and the restaurants in CID! It's super convenient and I also think Oasis has great value for their boba. My favorite is their lychee tea, but I'd suggest getting it with green tea rather than black tea. Coming from someone that drinks high quality boba often and loves it, the boba is not good. The snacks taste pretty standard. We saw the long line outside and wanted to try it out. We ordered Oolong milk tea, almond milk tea, chicken strips w/ fries, and popcorn chicken for about $27. Oolong milk tea and almond milk tea taste very bland and watery. We could barely taste the flavor and tasted like muddy water. It was probably only enough flavor for a 4oz drink (compared to drink being around 16oz). We both took a few sips and ended up not finishing it. The snacks taste pretty standard. Chicken strips with fries comes with 3 pieces of chicken, fries, and 2 sauces. Popcorn chicken also comes with 2 sauces. Portion size for the snacks are really good and shareable. The inside looks really nice. A bubble tea shop I grew up with growing up in the Seattle area so I've seen it at it's height when I was in middle school/high school/college - sadly the quality has gone down over the years. Visited recently on a weekday evening and went over to the counter and no one was there. They were all huddled by the tea machines not really doing much. They caught my eye but said nothing to me not even a "we will be right with you" After 10 mins they finally took my order. The drinks are not authentic they use powders and syrup unless you get something labeled fresh fruit. More a fruity vibe then tea vibe here. The bubble waffle was good though so props to that! The waffle actually took shorter than the drinks which the backlog was super long for it even though the store was relatively not busy at all. My raspberry milk tea was good though despite wait and more artificial flavor but it depends on what you like! I would recommend to oasis to improve their customer service to patrons and work on speed of orders especially when it's not busy. 10 min wait for a boba and a wait for giving an order is excessive in a non busy time! read more

I have been coming here for as long as I can remember and even though there has been a steep increase in other boba spots in Seattle, Oasis will always be a classic go-to. It is not revolutionarily amazing, but it is decent boba that will definitely cure a late night craving! I have tried almost everything on the menu and you won't be disappointed! Knocked off a star due to the long wait that can happen at times, normally at night when they are obviously understaffed. Also, for the homeless population that constantly wanders outside and throughout the location-- they aren't problematic but may sometimes ask for extra change or food. Well, Oasis Tea Zone has that jetpack, in the form of a wall size relief mural, much made from old toys and brightly painted in florescent tones! It's the work of @electriccoffin, artists who do a lot of interiors and pop-y sculpture. They have bubble tea and straight up hot and cold classic tea. I don't do bubble tea, so I've no idea how Oasis does in that area. I had the oolong, iced, my standby. This particular oolong had a woody roasted character. I usually prefer the round or metallic green oolongs, but this was fine in its style. I had it iced, and it was the right concentration. The spot by SCCC and open relatively late had some people studying, as well as club-goers chatting and preparing for their South Capitol Hill evening. The staff was pleasant and prompt. The decor is painted out white and modern. This spot is a fun visit. And if we had those jetpacks, we wouldn't have to be worried about the fierce parking in that area! Tried friend's wintermelon tea with pudding, and it was way too sweet for me. Other friend got a strawberry milk smoothie, and it looked kind of sad and melty. She said it wasn't what she was expecting it to taste like aka strawberry milk and just tasted like a regular strawberry smoothie. Pretty dope interior though- very spacious. It is definitely more affordable compared to other bubble tea places in the neighborhood, and the menu selection is also quite extensive. I usually go for the classic oolong milk tea. BUT, when I ordered for delivery today, it mysteriously disappeared from the DoorDash menu. So, I ordered the hong kong milk tea with boba. The drink is a five star, but they gotta step up the tapioca game. I also got the spicy popcorn chicken with honey mustard and hot sauce. I've been getting Oasis boba tea for over 6 years and just love all their flavors and combinations. Matcha Snow is a personal favorite, I'm also a sucker for Taro. Great location, parking maybe difficult depending on football games at the stadium (precovid). Whenever we stop by for dim sum and if we have belly space, we pop in to Oasis for a yummy milk boba tea and my world is happy, sweeter and better! The interior could use help and is not as clean as I'd like, but I hear great things about their new location interior being clean and cozy. Will have to give it a try! Highly recommend, there are many options and variety of ingredients for everyone. I've never tried their food though, probably won't. I remember coming to Oasis often about 15 years ago. Recently revisited due to being open late night for boba craving. The atmosphere remained the same, great spot when in high school and college. Unfortunately the quality wasn't as expected. Felt the drinks were powdery and watered down. Also the bubble waffle was slightly undercooked.
