I will not name my nail tech, I am not writing this to bash her, today could have just been an off day, I'm just writing about my experience today. I asked for a classic pedicure and I get a gel polish, I told the nail tech I would like the nails clipped should they need it and shaped as square, she said they would be fine with just a file but then later proceeded to clip them, which looking after, was a bad call because she was right the first time, just a file would have been fine because now my short toes are too short and they were clipped at an angle and she did not clip and shape my big toe which is what I was talking about in the beginning. So I had to fix the smaller toes trying not to make them shorter than they already are now. She polished them nicely with my black color which is hard to polish but she did not reshape them after the polish was dried & I had nail polish on the skin on the side of my toe. I had to come home, reshape and file my big toe then that's when I noticed a smudge on one of my toes which can only happen when they are tacky before the UV light so that's something she did not catch as well, luckily it isn't noticeable unless looked up close. I don't know that I would return for another pedicure, but maybe will try the spa services instead. A bit pricey for what I received but makes sense for the area and it being a spa.

We were then brought back to the couples massage room. **They are very quick and do not give much time to get undressed, but friendly and professional when knocking to come in. We started off laying face down with a big towel on our backs. We were massaged with the towel on our backs for a little bit, and then to the massage oils where the towel was removed. My masseuse made sure the pressure and comfort was good throughout the massage We did have the hot stones as an option, however, the hot stones didn't last more than a few minutes. I wish they rotated out the stones and it was a little bit longer as this is very relaxing. I was not expecting the little face massage that I received. However, it was nice to release the lymph nodes and the sinus cavity. I also didn't expect the slapping of my body limbs the massage was done. This was definitely not expected and removed the relaxing aspect of the massage. Overall it was a great massage and I would come back

They used warm oil, a mix of massage over the sheet and directly on the skin, and even incorporated hot stones, and all of it felt absolutely heavenly. They both checked in throughout to make sure the pressure was just right and that we were comfortable the whole time. You can tell they really care about their clients. You will get total attention and care throughout your massage and unlike other places, will also get every single minute you pay for. What sets Spring Sunshine apart from the chain massage places (other than all the packages they offer for incredible prices) is that they even make sure to wipe you clean at the end so you're not oily and can head out feeling fresh, clean and relaxed. I booked a massage online using their system and received a confirmation of my booking after I placed my credit card. When I arrived (40 minute drive from my home), there was no available therapist. I was told that the spa was changing online booking systems and that they were sorry and that the therapist was probably sick. They did try to call to find someone last minute and offered me a 50% discount on my next massage which was very generous. So, I tried again to book a service the next day, received a confirmation and decided to call the number online to double confirm so as not to end up in the same situation. I did so 2 days in a row and even sent a text via a chatbot and never heard back. I decided to try calling the chatbot number and someone answered. She confirmed my appointment and then proceeded to ask me if I would be willing to change my service booking since the therapist usually doesn't like doing multiple services if they take 3 hours. I asked if the therapists communicate their preferences so that customers can't book something which cannot be performed. The receptionist started to get defensive and asked if I knew that 3 hours was a long time to book services for. I then asked her if I could give her some constructive feedback: that I found it very difficult to communicate with Soma and effectively book services-something I've done online hundreds of times over the years with different businesses. Surprisingly, she felt the need to announce that she would cancel my appointment and tried to hang up on me. I was able to get her to hear me in my request that my feedback simply be fed up to the management, but I experienced her as persistent in her "not my problem or responsibility" message. I told her that as a receptionist, she is the outward face of her company even if she isn't the owner or therapist. Overall an incredibly unprofessional experience. I will not return and will warn friends against Soma. There are so many wonderful businesses with excellent customer service in the area which I would encourage people to patron.
