During my first 90 minute massage Evan was able to "unlock" the muscle in my neck that no other therapist has been able to do in over a year. I have seen him faithfully for the past five weeks and each week he has been able to change my body so that I am able to do stretches I haven't done in years for my arms and shoulders, my psoas muscles are looser than they've been in a very long time. Evan has a talent for understanding the body and for understanding the way muscles truly work and exactly how to heal them. My body has never felt more relaxed because of the collaboration of techniques he utilizes in order to give his client the relief they (sometimes desperately) need. Emily C

I have been to other types of saunas but I didn't realize there special benefits to infrared saunas. Evan has always been a thoughtful educator and was able to answer my questions about how it can help with sleep, pain relief, and heart health. The office processes also seem smooth. Booking and payment were seamless. Evan was very responsive with communications. I would recommend him highly.

It's a body scrub where you are completely unclothed and a woman with two minutes rubs your body and dead skin flies off. At the end, you were rubbed down in oil. I was worried that this wouldn't be relaxing, or it would even hurt. Let me first say that they put you in a sauna for as long as you can stand, and then a wet sauna. Next you go into the room face up, and the scrubbing starts. Well, it is not as relaxing as a massage, by any means There is much satisfaction in the results. I left with glowy soft skin feeling wonderful! The spa offers an option where you can purchase a membership and the services are cheaper. I will definitely become a frequent flyer! I can't recommend this place enough!

Also no allergy or health form (red flag) The bath: looks like a butcher shop not aesthetically pleasing. No clear delineation of hygienic practices for all I know they're using the same washcloth on me that they use on the previous customer. The massage: i heard the machine from the wash area going off for 40 mins of my 60 min massage. The masseuse was pressing down on my spine it did not feel good at all. Also people kept popping in and talking while i was getting my massage. The place needs some fine tuning.

Due to heavy rush-hour traffic, I was running late but was still actively on my way to the appointment. Shortly after the appointment time, I received a call informing me that the appointment would not proceed. The following morning, I spoke with a staff member identified as Lynn regarding the situation. During that conversation, I was told the practice had a "zero tolerance" policy for VA patients regarding missed appointments due to us being "non-paying customers", despite the fact that I had been traveling to the appointment and had not intended to miss it. What concerned me most was being referred to in a manner that suggesting I was a "non-paying customer" because my treatment was being provided through VA Community Care. I found that comment disrespectful and unprofessional. I used to attend these appointments back when they first started accepting VA patients and had an excellent massage therapist named Merlyn and always tipped her very well. Not to mention the fact that the VA does pay for these services. I understand that businesses have scheduling policies, but patients--especially veterans receiving authorized medical care--should be treated with courtesy and respect. Unfortunately, that was not my experience.
