A lot of places charge more for hot stone or deep tissue, here they are all the same. Thank you for that. It's a cute little place with the parking lot in the back. I love how quiet and serene it is. I've been in places that do other services (waxes, nails) and it ends up being noisy while you're getting a massage - that's the opposite of relaxing. Katy did my massage and she did a great job. Asked all the questions up front and then allowed me to quietly enjoy the massage with a little music (yes, I've had massage therapists that keep talking. Again, that's not relaxing). It's like she read my mind and knew the exact spots I really needed help with. The only thing I wasn't crazy about was this hard roller she used on my muscles. That hurt. But, I know I needed it because I was getting severe leg cramps in the middle of the night (from hiking and endurance training). She also got my pressure points in my head and massaged my scalp. Guess what.. I haven't a cramp or headache since!! She used hot towels throughout the experience, hot rocks and a warmer down my back when she did my legs because she knew my back needed extra work... she even used this oil that I swear is the best in the world! I paid for an extra 30 minutes because I just did NOT want to leave lol. Also, being that I am training for the Spartan race this year, I will be coming back as much as possible! First, when I book an hour massage and include 2 add ons (dry brush and foot scrub), I don't expect them to be bundled within my one hour massage. It should be an hour massage plus the add-ons. My girlfriend was fine with hers (except for reason above), but 2 issues with mine. First, Kaitlyn did ask me if I wanted any area to have special attention and I said my scalp. Just before the massage ended, I think she may have massaged my scalp for a minute. Second thing: my entire massage was with me face down. My girlfriend was asked to roll over, but I remained face down the entire hour. I have never had an hour massage when only one side was treated. Despite that, I gave them each a $20 tip for their time, but neither of us are inclined to return. And if you are thinking they must have been busy that day, no. There was no one in the waiting area when we arrived and one person walked in when we were leaving. I emailed the owner to share this (not requesting a refund but as a head's up) and never heard back.

They have some add ons, but they aren't pushy about them. They also give you an ice cold bottle of water and a Lindt truffle at the end of your massage - nice touch! I do wish they had a relaxation room instead of just waiting out in the main lobby, but it's not essential. I've been very happy at Elements, and have forced myself to make time to get the massages that I desperately need for pain relief and overall well-being.
