I had hoped to get relief then start on my day. Here and their own site says they open at 9am, they did not open at 9am. The fliers out front also had another different time on them. I woman I had identified herself as "Tina". She said they drive in from New York and hit traffic. I saw more than three different price sets for the same service between: their website, the board at the front door, and the fliers in the dispenser on the front window. According to their own website being a first-time customer I should have gotten an hour for $50.00. She charged me $65.00 plus tax equaling $70.00. Then I was pressured into giving a higher tip after giving a tip. If they have changed their hours and prices, they need to get it all uniform between all their different platforms. No one likes to show up and have a business not be open when they say they'll be open but to be charged higher price than is listed on multiple places is an insult. If anything she should have given me a discount based on the fact she knew I had called and was waiting there for awhile for them to open. I wouldn't recommend this place based on my experience. I'll update if anything changes.

I asked numerous times to have the door closed. I felt uncomfortable with the door being open during my massage. The receptionist/owner made me feel bullied into giving 20+ dollars for a tip, which is more than 20%. In addition, make sure to bring cash because she charges $5 if you use a card. Overall, I would say the massage itself was ok but it lacked certain things that the owner can improve on.

I was visiting family in Connecticut and had tweaked my back pretty badly. I booked with Sammi Therapeutic Massage hoping for some relief and was fully prepared to pay top dollar without expecting much beyond temporary comfort. What I got was completely different. This was not just a massage -- this was actual healing work. She took the time to understand where my pain was, explained what she was doing (because I asked), and truly got in there and worked through the problem. The pain I came in with? Gone. If I had more time in CT, I would've gone back again just to continue the work and honestly get better sleep. She clearly knows the body and her craft. It's a private, by-appointment setup with a single table, and every second of it was worth it. From the comfortable setup to how she incorporated hot stones and intuitively read exactly what my body needed -- it felt intentional and effective. I'm genuinely so glad I didn't end up at another "typical" therapeutic spot that just goes through the motions. I'm sure there are other good places out there, but I don't see myself trying them anytime soon -- I feel like I found my person. If you're looking for a massage that actually fixes your knots and pain (not just temporarily relaxes you), this is your spot. I'd honestly consider flying back once a month for this.

My daughter has some shoulder pain and came away from the massage experience saying that it was the best thing ever! I had read a review from someone who thought the experience was traumatizing and painful. I was a little worried but our experience was super. Yes, when she does a special deep tissue massage she hits painful spots, but I think the treatment was very helpful. Wasn't fond of the tone on the voice-mail message. I left a message after the 2nd try. I understand you're busy servicing clients, so I wouldn't expect a call back that day or the next few days... but 6 days later and still no return call. It's been weeks now and still nothing... In full disclosure, I purchased a Groupon for my first service, with the thinking that if I wasn't enjoying it, then I could get up and leave, without shelling out full price for my first ever massage. I mentioned the Groupon in the voice message.. She came highly recommended based on her skills, but I never got to experience that. 7 days later, Groupon refunded my money. With my anxiety, it already took a lot to CALL to try to book. Was it me? Idk? But Thanks, now I'm even more nervous about getting my first massage.
