The location is very quaint and inviting, and there's also a chiropractor and esthetician in the same building! I was warmly greeted by Leon, who was amazing! We went over the massage I signed up for and I can say that I really enjoyed the deep tissue with hot stones as an add-on. Leon did a fantastic job with my massage and was extremely informative regarding educating me on my problem areas and how to address them, and I will most definitely be returning for a massage again soon. I've been loyal to a few therapists during my time there (until they leave) and have loved their work. Monica is my current therapist and I'm not sure if this page could fit all the wonderful things. I've had back issues since college and was hurt additionally at the chiropractor. I was hesitant to go or do anything that could leave me in more pain. My working theory was that massage would be a gentler option. This was definitely the right path. I'm sure when I leave Monica is exhausted from all the surprise knots my back has in store, but she has always done an amazing job. I personally require deep tissue and she's the girl for the job. Massage Envy has an array of therapists for each level of need so there is someone for everybody. For my purposes, Massage Therapy (and Monica for that matter) are essential to me living a less painful existence.

I was visiting family in Connecticut and had tweaked my back pretty badly. I booked with Sammi Therapeutic Massage hoping for some relief and was fully prepared to pay top dollar without expecting much beyond temporary comfort. What I got was completely different. This was not just a massage -- this was actual healing work. She took the time to understand where my pain was, explained what she was doing (because I asked), and truly got in there and worked through the problem. The pain I came in with? Gone. If I had more time in CT, I would've gone back again just to continue the work and honestly get better sleep. She clearly knows the body and her craft. It's a private, by-appointment setup with a single table, and every second of it was worth it. From the comfortable setup to how she incorporated hot stones and intuitively read exactly what my body needed -- it felt intentional and effective. I'm genuinely so glad I didn't end up at another "typical" therapeutic spot that just goes through the motions. I'm sure there are other good places out there, but I don't see myself trying them anytime soon -- I feel like I found my person. If you're looking for a massage that actually fixes your knots and pain (not just temporarily relaxes you), this is your spot. I'd honestly consider flying back once a month for this.

This was my first reflexology experience so I really wasn't sure what to expect. I'm now second guessing that assumption - when Julie was doing her thing, about half way thru I decided to start asking her what these connections were. She started explaining them and telling me which ones she found as being tense, the ones she was focusing on, and as she told me about the one that was linked to my intestines, I suddenly realized that my cramps were gone.
