I think the problem with places like this is consistency of the masseuse. I have had a lash lift probably over a dozen times. This was somethin else. I got a gift card to this place which is what brought me in. They would not take an apt without my credit card number in their computer, despite the fact that I was paying with a gift card. Offered to give them that number but they would not make the apt without having my credit card number in hand. So back to the lash lift. Yikes. Never once was glue of any kind put onto my eyelids for a lash lift and tint. The procedure began with the provider placing glue strips/tabs all over my eye lids. She did not use a fan to dry down any of the solutions/serums until my eye started burning. In every other lash lift I've had, a fan is alway used to dry down the liquids. At the end of the apt, a tweezer was used to pry the glue strips off my eyelids. When she plucked my eyelid skin, she stopped trying to get anymore glue off. When I left, there was still glue adhered to my eyelids, they were dry and stiff and I could barely blink comfortably which lead me to scraping it off myself. My eyelids are red, swollen and shredded and my eyelashes are stiff. This is unlike anything I've ever experienced before. Would never come back or recommend this place to anyone, even if you have a gift card. Regift it. Or just don't get a lash lift. They should take lash lift off the service menu. read more

I liken this place to the Supercuts of massages. If you're looking for a spa luxe experience I wouldn't book here. If you're looking to get in quickly and get a mediocre treatment then roll the dice. Firstly it was freezing inside. Anyone getting bodywork who is cold it's working against loosening your muscles and relaxing. Second they advertise they have a tranquil relaxation room, I would suggest they upgrade the furniture. It's literally an outdoor patio seat with no back support. Both my practitioners were kind and professional but I got a body scrub and honestly I'm not sure it was worth the price tag. She only exfoliated my arms and legs and just a little on my back (I came home itchy and my husband told me I had a dry patch on my mid back.) I also got my eyelashes tinted and lifted. That service went a little better. The practitioner seemed a little more confident in her skills. All the staff were friendly and professional. But I'm going to pass spending my money here in the future. read more

I had a terrible experience. I booked a massage with Anthony who was supposedly their best masseur. I have had massages consistently for 30 years and know what to expect. Anthony sat for the massage - unheard of. Breathed and dripped all over my face. Used such extreme pressure despite my complaints that he tore my supraspinatus tendon connecting my clavicle to my shoulder - confirmed by my orthopedist, xray and mri. Have been in pain for two months and unable to swim, my daily exercise. I will need pt and surgery. The staff and owner have blown me off for 2 months. Been going to Anthony for almost two years. He is great at deep tissue and always asks what I want to work on and does as extraordinary job of getting knots out. He makes me feel comfortable and is relaxing experience while also feeling like my trouble spots are being taken care of. Massages are so so depending on who you get. Sue Marie kind of just rubs your skin rather than actually massages. The customer service here is the absolute worst. Cancelled appointments at the last minute because they have staff on the schedule that no longer work there. I've had the owner reach out with a reminder on tipping. Super tacky. I had to then remind her that I tipped in cash (and quite well) if that's what she was getting at. Gives me the ick. read more

Today I got the maternity massage from Sue Marie and it was such a wonderful experience. The massage itself was super relaxing. I felt completely relaxed the entire time as well as afterwards. I actually enjoyed my treatments at Spavia. I had a membership for around a half a year but I found it stressful to keep up with making appts. I cancelled my membership because of that. I had one treatment left that I thought was a credit. I went to make an appt but was told that it had expired. They never told me that I needed to use it within 30 days. I am positive that I was never told. 9Yes, it probably was in the small print.0 Yet, they werent willing to allow me my final treatment. This was a great find and perfect for a date night with the hubby! I called to make an appointment for a couples massage after finding a great deal on Groupon. I went in a few hours later and the inside was beautiful! Very clean and new. They said they had just opened 3 weeks ago. Everyone was very professional. They led us to separate rooms where we could get into the robes provided(very luxurious) and told me how to use the lock on the lockers. Then, my husband and I met in a relaxing waiting room. Zoe and Kim were our massage therapists and they came and took us in at the same time. Due to Covid, my husband and I were in separate rooms. No issue there. I had Kim and she was AMAZING! I've had many massages done and she's definitely one of the top. Perfect amount of pressure and everything I'd want in a massage. My husband was also very pleased with Zoe. When we were done, they brought us a cup of water and we went back to get dressed. They have showers complete with toiletries if you want to wash up, which my husband opted for.
