It has been months since my last massage and after moving over the summer, packing and unpacking, hiking, etc I decided to book a massage with Massage on Whitney while on a stay-cay. The location is very quaint and inviting, and there's also a chiropractor and esthetician in the same building! I was warmly greeted by Leon, who was amazing! We went over the massage I signed up for and I can say that I really enjoyed the deep tissue with hot stones as an add-on. Leon did a fantastic job with my massage and was extremely informative regarding educating me on my problem areas and how to address them, and I will most definitely be returning for a massage again soon. I had a birthday massage with Linda Lee in March 2025. I was so excited to kick off my birthday and relax. The massage was good but Linda had a service dog in the room throughout the whole service. The dog was on the table before my service and she had to remove him/her. Also the dog slept and snored loudly the time of my massage. It was never disclosed that the dog would be in the room. I was visiting from out of state and my sister booked an appointment for me with Leon. What HE didn't know, and what I usually don't tell other therapists, is that I too, am a licensed massage therapist and very particular about scheduling massage appointments for myself. I was so incredibly impressed with his professionalism and his communication from the start. He put me right at ease asking preferences and letting me know what treatment would benefit me most. I was able to completely relax and felt so appreciative for his time. It was totally worthwhile!!! I even purchased a Himalayan salt stone like the one he had heated and used during my session. We were looking for a massage for our anniversary last minute and Massage on Whitney was able to accommodate and got us in at the same time on short notice. The location was great, very clean and easy to find. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming. My husband got the therapeutic massage which he loved and felt very relaxed. I scheduled the deep tissue massage and was blown away. My masseuse was the best I have ever had. I highly recommend Leon Lovett if you have knots that will not go away. I came to CT to get away for a few days and to celebrate my birthday. As a gift from my bestie, she gave me a gift certificate to massage down the street from where I was staying. I had Shay. Sweet lady. Full of energy. Polite. Extremely attentive to the areas. I haven't had a massage in over a year. The experience was absolutely amazing. AMAZING, high quality experience!! I have only went once to this establishment and I was very impressed from the moment I walked in. Everyone is extremely welcoming and sweet, and was very helpful with the questions I had in regards to what I wanted to purchase, which was a couples massage. The massage itself was amazing! The masseuse (I cannot remember her name unfortunately) got into each ones of my knots in my back and when my time was finished, I was satisfied with the immediate results. Leon was great, he took me in on a Sunday when I had back spasms and helped to loosen up my lower back. He was very knowledgeable and showed me some things that I could do at home to help the problem. I was treated by Leon Lovett. I had alot of muscle tension in my neck prior to my visit. I had also recently pulled something in my lower back when lifting something heavy. I told Leon about both before he started. I was actually using a back brace when I walked in. He explained everything to me and proceeded to treat my concerns as well as general massage explaining as he went. I was so impressed with his skill I left completely discomfort free with full range of motion and no back brace! I highly recommend this therapist!! read more

The rooms are clean and the whole space is very quiet. It's the perfect atmosphere for a massage. Ask for Judy. I went to her with a very sore back--a pulled muscle, I think--and she applied very effective techniques. I've had a lot of massages around the world and she knows a range of methods that will help you heal. A wonderful and relaxing experience! I recently had a massage with Elcy the week of my wedding. All the stress of planning melted away during the massage. The room was very comfortable, the music was relaxing, and the massage was out of this world. I hold a lot of tension in my shoulders and she applied an oil/cream at the end that continued to help my back hours after the massage. My children gave me a gift certificate to MOW about a year and half ago. The environment is relaxing ( low lighting, relaxing music, very clean etc) and I had such a good experience that I have been returning every several weeks. Elcy always asks about areas that need extra attention. I tend to have a lot of tension in my neck and shoulders so she works those areas more. I get a massage every month. This was my first time here. One of the only places open on Sunday and I got an appointment the same day. I had Judy she was a goddess with her hands and made sure I was comfortabl. The prenatal massage was fantastic seeing how they can't hit some pressure points. I booked an hour massage and.couldn't get enough and they let me extend to a 90 min massage for only 125$! I'm going back in 3 weeks. You won't find anywhere better! There is nowhere else I would recommend over Massage on Whitney. They are always courteous and accommodating even when I call last minute. Elcy is an amazing massage therapist who always spends the right amount of time working on my areas that need help. 5 stars for her alone! read more
