We checked in and sat for only 5 minutes or so before being greeted by them. (In a lobby with tea, water , coffee, bathroom etc) They brought us back to one of the rooms we were getting our massage in. asked a few questions as to what we were each looking for. Super friendly, made me feel comfortable and did a great job. I did a 60 minute "signature" massage which included a swedish, deep tissue, and hot stones. I left completely relaxed. I have been a customer for over 10 years, getting pedicures on a regular basis at the spa. I was a loyal customer at the Plainville location until the spa decided to get rid of pedicures at that location. I then went over to Southington.... what a downgrade! No massage chairs, no whirlpool foot baths. Instead you get a hard leather chair and a metal bowl that they pour warm water into...... no massage, no whirlpool foot bath. Tonight I went online to see that now they only offer one type of pedicure. $79 for a wellness pedicure. Seriously??? The luxe classic is gone. $79 for a metal bowl with water??? On top of that, I bring my own lotion (due to allergies), don't use their essential oils, don't use a mud mask, don't use their lotion, or their scrub. $79 is a joke! That is not a spa experience!!!!! Time to look for a new spa... read more

Ok so last year I booked a massage for my boyfriend at the Plainville location and it was his first massage ever and he loved it. I wanted to book one for myself but never did because I was shy about the whole experience! This year for Valentine's Day my boyfriend booked a deep tissue massage for me so I went and it was AMAZING! The lady who took care of me was Amanda and she had the hands of an angel! I have never received a massage, like I said and I work retail full time so she had A LOT to work on. Although I wish my massage lasted much longer, Amanda did wonders in just 60 minutes. Once I arrived, I realized I had been to this location before when it was a different name (Lavender Fields). The woman behind the desk was so warm and welcoming, and offered me something to drink. Had an amazing experience here! I never take a "spa day" and I've never had a massage--ever! My fiancé got me a gift here: a Swedish massage, a manicure, and a pedicure. What a treat! The massage was fantastic (whole package was done by Emily) and definitely not what I was expecting it to be but in a good way. She targeted some high-tension areas in my neck and shoulder area which I didn't even know carried that much tension until I felt all those knots being whisked away! The massage room was very relaxing and clean. The bed itself was heated and the sheets smelled like they just came from the dryer. In fact, the entire place was very clean, welcoming, and well-kept. The massage room and the room where I got the mani/pedi had relaxing music playing and it was lovely. The staff was friendly and attentive: they greeted with a smile and offered drinks on multiple occasions. Loved how I felt so welcome as if they've seen me there a million times. It was quiet and peaceful the entire time and the woman who worked on me was so sweet, friendly, and attentive. Never once did I feel judged (even when she gave me the pedicure that was much needed!) I cannot speak for the pricing as it was a gift. However, after looking online I noted that the prices seem less expensive than other places in Central CT. What can I really say? Just come here already for all your spa needs and wants. They are a extremly well reputable spa with an amazing staff. From the front desk, massage therapist, management, it's absolutely astounding! Everyone's happy, pleasant and most importantly relaxing. I'm a combat veteran with many issues that can only be worked out through massage, acupuncture etc...so I can say that I'm a well seasoned at my far share of spas and receiving services across the country as well as a bunch of other countries. Half of the stuff, I've never even heard of or experienced and I'm excited to experience them in the near future. Everything was explained to me in full detail and they don't recommend something unless it's needed in their eyes. There is no judgement or pressure, just options and guess what y'all you don't have to make a decision that day or worry about constant emails or phone calls. It's been almost 6 years since, I've ever received the amount of work and skill that I have in my 2 hour session. I sampled a few other treatments not from a typical chain spa or resort, so without comparing and leaving names out of it all...I will say this they all were 4-5 star Yelp, Google reviews and some referrals from the VA and guess what y'all none of them are in the same playing field. It's another level of classification in my eyes and I'm happy to say this will be the place I will continue to go for care. So, what I'm wondering is why you're still reading this and not driving there right now, checking out the website or calling them now. 14+ years I've been getting massages, Manis/pedis/facials and 5+ years for acupuncture/chiropractic services. I went in recently for the first time because I was having lower back pain from a Tennis injury. The woman's name was Kelly. I believe there may be two Kelly's that work there. This one was youngish with dark hair. I could tell that she doesn't just do this as a job, she does it because she has the skill level to make people feel better. Nothing was rushed and it was very enjoyable. She also gave me advise about foam rolling and other methods to improve my condition on my own. The place was clean and I felt at home. Also my back was in better shape after I left. The prices are very reasonable for what you get. She did a nice balance of firm pressure and relaxing touch, and her hands were very smooth. Will not be going back! Very disappointed in the services that I received. I paid for an hour long pedicure as was told I was going to receive the full hour. I understand that my nails took a little longer but for the money I spent I should have received the full hour. I requested the full hour because that's what I paid the extra money for and only received 45 minutes of it and was told they did an hour when it clearly wasn't. I was told that from other staff that I would still receive the hour long pedicure and that was not the case.I know that because I looked at the clock when the pedicure was started and received attitude when asked about it. The massage was good minus the scalp massage something was put on my head and my scalp was burning after I left. Not her fault though. I left Very disappointed as I was looking for a nice relaxing spa day and was very disappointed in the services especially the pedicure. I also around Christmas purchased a gift card for someone there which I have come to regret! The spa was empty as well when I was there so there should be absolutely no excuses! Alrighty so on 8/10 I got a lash lift and tint. About a week later, 3/4 of every single one of my eyelashes was fried off completely. They looked like someone took a weed whacker to them. I have fine blonde hair, as are my eyelashes, and I think that the solution was too strong for my individual hairs or that it was left on for far too long. My lashes were so long and beautiful, and the initial result was nice (besides for the fact that the girl didn't get the dye all the way to the end of my eyelashes on the left eye) and I could tell that they were really brittle right off the bat. They did not feel like my eyelashes, they felt like they were very fragile. I take extremely good care of my lashes and I was so embarrassed when this happened. I had THE shortest, crinkliest eyelashes I had ever seen. Even now, two months later after they have grown out, the tips of my lashes are still a crazy crinkly mess. I'll absolutely never have this done here again. I was mortified. Please do your research when choosing a place for your eyelashes- I couldn't find one review on how they did them at a moment away, so I figured I'd go for it. The only reason that I'm giving two stars is because the girl who did them was a sweet girl. read more
