Been going to Nature's Spa for over 10 years. At that time, they had a special deal on a massage, facial & pedicure. It's smart of businesses to do these type specials and advertise them because this certainly brought my business there. The spa is very bright & inviting and the owner Wendy loves her clients. The spa is on the "natural" side, meaning less toxic ingredients are used and sold, including organic nail polish. The pedicure tubs are extremely clean. Well the whole spa is clean! The scalp treatment is my ultimate favorite treatment. My least favorite is eyebrow waxing. They use a wax that dries on you and then they rip it off. They use a different type wax for bikini & brazilian wax and they do a great job with those. Several times a year, the spa has a special on gift cards where they are a discounted a percentage. They also have a loyalty stamp card. read more

Nature's spa is a beautiful place, with friendly staff and reasonable pricing. I've gone there twice - once for a mother/daughter pedicure day, and once to have my eyebrows waxed. It's very clean and bright. The pedicures end with a rose to take home :) Nature's Spa has also been involved in the Relay For Life of Plainville in the past, raising and donating many dollars to the American Cancer Society. Had a great full body scrub (massage included) and my skin felt amazing afterwards. On a different day I got a facial and my face feels wonderful. Will be back for both services! I subtracted a star because the rooms are a little chilly and there is a lot of constant noise in the reception area. One day I went there, they may have been having maintenance work done because all I could hear the entire time was a man's booming voice. Maybe make that area a quiet area? Otherwise it's great! I've been coming here infrequently for a few years mostly because it is the only place that has Cruelty-Free polish, and in so many colors that it is hard to choose! It has always been clean and comfortable. This time, everywhere I looked, it did not look clean. Plus, even though the pedicure chairs are nicely cushioned, they are more like desk chairs and do not recline at all. Sitting upright for almost an hour doesn't exactly add to the spa experience. I have always loved the artwork on the walls, too, but the feeling of a lack of cleanliness may cause me to not return. read more

Just got a Brazilian from Stephanie! She was super kind and very talkative and she was FAST. Brazilians hurt no matter what but she went so fast (yet efficiently) that at the end it seemed almost like I had just gotten there haha. The Brazilian was $35 plus tax and that's a great price compared to other places locally that charge $50+. And they have good hours, so you're sure to find a time for you to come! I've been going to nature's spa for a few years now. The staff is great! I do massages and body scrubs on a frequent basis and I think this salon is top notch. Kristen is an amazing masseuse. I recently developed sciatica and she knew exactly what needed to be done to fix the issue. I would recommend this spa to anyone!! They also offer discounts to some employers in the area. Sooooo wish I listened to all the warnings from everyone about Nature's Spa Day Spa​​!!! Talk about false advertising!! They claim to offer all these services yet we have been trying to plan spa day for us girls since December!! After. 4 phone calls and a lot of negotiation at the end of January we decided to settle for half of what we wanted in March their first available time for half of what was promised! But just to use gift cards and get girls their Christmas gifts we booked it. So a date was settled on and everyone took the day off of work 2 months in advance only to be cancelled on completely and told we could reschedule for half the services again in July!!??? Seriously? Luckily we found another place willing to provide all that we wanted this weekend so I spoke to owner and kindly asked for a refund which she completely refused!!! So my girls and I are out Christmas gifts!!! Unless we want to wait until July that is!!! Never again!! read more

My wife and daughter have been going here for years, until now. My wife was charged the full $80 for a missed massage... my dentist charges $35. My wife called and the girl on the phone told her "no exceptions". A shame to lose two loyal and regular customers for life for a meager $80. read more

I got a facial here and the experience was kind of strange. The room was dark the whole time, so I don't know how the esthetician could have assessed my skincare needs without actually seeing my skin. Every product she put on my face was room temp, no warm water or anything to open the pores. There was no steaming treatment or extractions. My appointment was at 4:30, but they didn't take me into the room until 4:45 and I was back in my car by 5:15, although I was charged the rate for a 50 minute facial. So I basically paid someone $75 to rub a fruit smoothie on my face for 30 minutes. Since then I've gotten facials at other spas and seen better results, plus sometimes you get a nice shoulder massage, personalized skincare tips, or steam treatment that makes your skin feel so moisturized and fresh... But I didn't get any of that from Nature's Spa. Disappointing. read more

I used to frequent the spa on a regular basis because of Kristen. I haven't been able to get there for a couple years. Recently my husband purchased $105.00 G/C for my birthday. I threw the G/C out with the birthday card. I called the spa to ask if I brought my bank stament down to prove purchase . Would they honor it? Immediately telling me no. I asked her to have the owner call me back. Wendy called me back , I told her what had happened. She told me that my bank statement would do me no good. She has been burned by her customers and would not honor it unless I brought the g/c that I threw away down. My integrity was being questioned. Now I question hers. Watch your gift cards from Nature's Spa.. Can not possibly go back & see Kristen knowing I would have to pay for something I already paid for. Sad read more

i have purchased their 40 % off discount gift certificates for years to use for my monthly massages. suddenly, the therapist has left and for months they have no one doing massage. i inquire about a partial refund due to their situation of not hiring a new one and was told absolutely no refunds. so am stuck going some where else which is much better, and have $400 in gift certificates i can't use. will not return. read more

The high school girl who works part time and has never been to cosmetology school told me about her upcoming prom while doing my pedicure. On both manicure and pedicure there was no trimming of cuticles, etc. I guess because in the State of CT you need an actual license for that. I resent paying $57 plus tip to a high schooler. At least mine was a senior in HS. My daughter had a junior in HS. Nothing against the lovely girl. My pedicure didn't end with a rose as in another review. I left with cotton still on my toes and no dryer was provided. A waste of money for mediocre services. read more

The massages themselves were good, but all I could hear outside the room was people talking, etc. I have been here a few times to give it a chance, but I was not happy with my experience.
