This review I'm posting now just one year ago was a 5 star review. After what I witnessed and experience it's now 1 star. It started with my pedicure... the water was cold which I honestly disregarded because atleast the gentleman doing my nails did a good job and took care of my legs and feet, it all went bad when I saw the lady who was getting ready to do my full set of acrylics yelling at another customer because she came too early for her nail appointment, she was so rude about it. I let it go thinking maybe she was just having a bad day, another lady who's nails this specific nail tech had done before mine was sitting to my left and shed asked the tech nicely if she would please take her spacers out from between her toes, well picked up her leg and she proceeded to rip them from her toes so aggressively and out of annoyance proceeded to drop her feet so they smacked the floor. The lady let it go cuz she was almost done with her service. In my head these were huge red flags but I was already sitting in the chair. I AGAIN let it go thinking maybe she just had a rough day. Big mistake. She started doing my nails and 2 of them were so crooked and I let her know, the first one was fixable with shaping since I wanted coffin shaped nails but the second nail was my left pinky that was so ridiculously crooked that Shaping couldn't fix it. . I asked her nicely if she would please fix the 2 nails and she started getting louder and arguing with me. Telling me I don't know what I'm talking about but honestly with what a horrible attitude she had. She told me I had to pay for half of my nail service and I said "why would I pay for something I'm not happy with. I'd had enough and just said to go ahead and cut them off and that I was done here. I told her I don't like the way she's talking to me and how aggressive she's been with her other customers. The lady next to me was a very sweet lady that I'd chatted with throughout my time there. This tech was so rude I'm absolutely blown away that she goes through life talking to and treating people that way. Getting your nails done is suppose to be a nice relaxing service to treat yourself. I also want to mention that I'd learned to do acrylics when I went to cosmetology school but chose the hair route and am a hair dresser and will make my clients aware of how my time went there. . I'm well aware of how you apply acrylic and she did a horribly messy job it was all over my skin. She's a bad nail tech and a rude person. I'd also asked if I could have her name she said that's important and when I called back to speak to the owner she answered the phone and said that's important again. It seems that the previous reviews from others had merit. My gel set has begun to peel off after two days. I've had gel nails done for years and this is the first time I've been unhappy. I will need to change my review to two (2) stars. Previous review: I had visited this salon years ago and remembered the spa feeling. Calming music and great, attentive technicians. So I've been to this place more than a few times. I found them when I was originally looking for a nail salon that would be able to do gelx and they did a great job initially. 2nd visit was not as good. Did a mani-pedi and nail tech was very gruff and didn't understand what I was saying. He seemed annoyed I decided to try them again just for the lack of really good places in Palm Coast. I had my gelx removed and got my chin and lip waxed. I'm usually very loyal once I go somewhere and I liked the job. But it seems like the more I go here the worst the services has gotten. Today will be my last chance because I came in fairly early wanting a fill and my eyelashes done. They said yes and they were not busy at all. After my uncomfortable attitude with my nail tech who seemed to be very unwilling to do what I asked which was a simple design she did my nails very begrudgingly in a bad mood and really messed up my design and was so pushy. When done I asked about where to go to do my eyelashes and she looked at me and said no. She is not doing that today because she is busy. She was so annoyed and rushing me she did a crooked line of the little evil eye to match my ring. But it looks so bad. I asked is she could do a Hanukkah menorah or flag of Israel and she seemed to be immediately turned off! Claiming she didn't know what that was and knows nothing about it so no! Went with my step mom... it was $65 for her fill in n $70 for my fill with 3 broken nails... $65-$70 which is for a new set at most places. I get why mine was high with 3 broken. But y hers? My husband & I have been for pedicures multiple times, we always have a great time. They really make it special & enjoyable. I've been many times for full sets sometimes with designs & sometimes just color & always been happy with my nails. I've been licensed to do nails since 96. I can do my own nails but I find it tedious & prefer to let someone else so I can just relax. They always live up to my expectations & if I have a pic, they're quite good at replicating it. The staff are so nice & they communicate with you to make sure you get what you want. I think the prices are comparable to most nail salons for this area. This place is really clean. They take sanitation very seriously. Oh, I've also had my eyebrows & lip waxed (gotta love having dark hair & pale skin) the results are awesome. They don't burn you or leave you looking like a plucked chicken! They can accommodate large groups just call & give them a heads up to make sure they have plenty of staff but they most definitely have the chairs & tables. I've gone on Saturdays/peak times & never waited over 15 minutes. I'm fairly picky about my nails because I know what good work is. I DO NOT like spatula-wide acrylics. You will not get that here unless that's your jam & you ask for that! Also, they don't drill your natural nails down to paper thin which is a huge plus as I got into nails because my natural nails are thin & I couldn't grow my own...ever... no matter what product, supplement, or gift to the nail gods I tried. The technician was rough - she nicked my skin three times while removing gel. She was too fast and tough with her shaving tool. She then passed me on to one of her colleagues who proceeded to provide a very uneven gel manicure with thick blobs of color on each nail of my left hand. After grocery shopping, I returned to receive a gift certificate towards a future session at a reduced price as I wanted to get home. The "owner/manager" was extremely rude. I actually liked my pedicure and the young man that gave it to me but the place was filthy. It really needs some attention. The floors and surfaces need to be dusted and sanitized. This is one of the worst nail salons I've had the displeasure of patronizing in Palm Coast. My friend and I got subpar gel pedicures and full sets. Was starting to become a regular customer for my nails and waxing - always tip extremely well. Recently, had my gel nails chipped on 3 of my fingers. So I went in to have them repaired them - much to my surprise they said, time to redo them. Like, no! I know when it is time to redo my nails, I just had them done and I have never had to go back in this soon to get my nails done (as long as I have been doing my nails done). So I said, just take it off, 10$ to take it off‍. while I was getting that done, she said, want to wax you again(in which I had that done when I got my nails done)- again are you serious; it hasn't had time to grow out‍. I am livid! I will 100% no longer be giving my business to this nail salon. Went in early on a day that I was leaving for out of town later that evening. All I simply asked for were a set of black acrylic with a matte finish. When I went home I realized they were shiny not flat matte which I paid extra for. I even brought a photo. Black matte... simple. I called them to let them know that my nails were really shiny and I did not like the look of it as they urged me to come back in. I told him I had to catch a flight in Orlando and had a lot of prep to do. He urged me to come in that they would fix it. As they are trying to figure out why the polish isn't working properly they realize it was the wrong polish. Another woman came over with the correct polish.. apparently... The matte finish lasted maybe an hour before it turned shiny again. I had no time to return. I thought to myself no big deal I only paid 50 something dollars for these with tip I'll just catch them when I get back into town and see what they can do about it. Today I walked in and asked for the manager and was told he would be back in tomorrow. I further explained what happened as I was a little upset that I spent so much money on top of a tip for my nails to be done how I really wanted them. In no way shape or form did I expect to walk in there and get anything for free but I did expect a little bit more respect than I received, maybe a bit of a discount since I had spent so much money the first time. A woman kept repeating " it was only five dollars, it was only five dollars, it was only five dollars for the matte finish". I then of course got irritated and I said I understand it was only five dollars but the fact was it ruined the entire look of the nail which I had paid a good chunk for. I had paid for something that was a totally opposite of what I had asked for. On top of it when you put my nails into the sun you can see right through the black, the shaping is totally off but that wasn't my concern, my concern was I had brought a photo and they said they could do it they said they had the proper polish to do it and I walked out twice with it being done incorrectly. I ended up walking out and telling them I would take my business elsewhere there is no reason to talk to me that way as I felt disrespected and found it extremely rude how they handle customer service. I was going on vacation, I got my nails done much more extreme than I ever would normally for the holidays. Something my husband noticed which I totally never would've noticed is when she placed the acrylic on my nails she left a good chunk of nail visible which looks like my nail had grown out on day one (see photo). Extremely long story short it was not taken care of properly on their end and I will be glad to take my business elsewhere. I don't normally go here and never been before. I decided to try it and probably won't ever go back; at first I really like it, when I was getting my toes done. The guy did a great job on my feet. But my nails are a different story. I was having SNS removed and put back on. He cut up my fingers, the shape isn't right, he missed the whole side of my thumb and i had to tell him to fix it. and the top gel cover is already starting to come off, it also came out super lumpy instead of nice and smooth. I went Sunday March 15 and today is March 19th. NOT EVEN A WEEK YET. I'm not happy at all. I spent 80$ there for something I'm gonna have to redo when usually they last for 3 weeks. Absolutely awful experience with nail tech Quin (sp?). First time I've ever met her and she was nice at first but quickly turned nasty when I asked her if she could make my SNS nails just a little less thick during the buffering phase (they looked terrible). A very basic request, but she became rudely defensive and flippant toward me for the rest of the visit. Her work was also genuinely not well done on top of it all. I stayed quiet and was polite in my requests, but was honestly uncomfortable. She made comments about "do you REALLY want the design or will it be 'too thick' for you?' Snidely adding, just don't want you to waste my time..." and if it breaks it's "not her fault". I know how designs work and yes I did want the design, I was clear about that and she knew. Finally, I couldn't take her attitude anymore, so I ended up leaving with plain nude nails (no design) that are way shorter than I wanted. I paid full price and left in shock. I've gone here for years off and on and always used to love this place, but sadly it has really gone downhill with some of the new techs / management. read more

I recently moved to Palm Coast and needed a pedi & Mani desperately. My daughter was with me and she went into Hand & Stone to see if they provided that service, but they do not. The associate in that establishment recommended 2 that was nearby and I knew where the new Publix was, so we choose the Oasis. It felt like I was in heaven. Only thing that could of made it better, if they had margarita . The staff was friendly and attentive to our needs. I definitely recommend Oasis to anyone who is hurting, go to them. I went here to get a pedicure with my mom, and it was overall a very pleasant experience, although we had to wait a few minutes before they were ready for both of us. My nails were nicely shaped and painted. The pedicurist did not make me feel rushed and gave me a nice foot scrub and massage. I also noticed that the spa prioritizes cleanliness as the staff wears gloves and protective vests while they are working with their customers. I will definitely go here again for a mani or pedi. read more
