Was in town, as I travel from SC to FL often. Went in for mani and pedi after calling hour ahead and told to come in. Amy did pedi and was on her cell most the time. Cut toe nails way too short, scraped heel to pain and bleeding. Cut the skin around toes and were bleeding. She then said another lady would do my gel nails she had to leave. My daughter and i went there for our first time yesterday. My daughter got a gel manicure ($30) and it looks like total crap!! I had a mani/pedi, and wax. None of my cuticles (hand or feet) are cut properly. Shaping of fingernails are crooked as hell. All of the polish looks like it was done by an 8 yo (not the owners 18 yo who did mine) and THEN I have 2 open sores and a raw baby toe on my feet from her scrubbing too hard. They hurt!! I got a bacterial infection on one of my nails from them. It made a green spot. The picture doesn't even do it justice cause this was AFTER she soaked and filed off as much of the green as she could and then applied acrylic on top of what was left. I have had my nails done every 3 weeks for two years and when i moved here to florida this place came highly recommended. this place didn't even know what the green spot was. the lady called it a "stain" good grief. I just don't recommend them at all. I am assuming things are not sanitized between clients. First time and last time here. I had the same girl do both my manicure and pedicure. She was very sweet but she seemed like she had just learned to do nails. My pedicure was filed very unevenly and the polish was sheer. I got a fill with gel on my hands and it was very lumpy, my nails were thick and terribly shaped. She took the polish off over and over because she wasn't satisfied with how it looked. I told her I could pick another if there was something wrong with the polish. She seemed very frustrated by the end of it. Maybe there are one or two good nail techs here but if you're unlucky like me you will be very unhappy when you leave here. I have cuts on my cuticles on both my hands and feet. I was also shocked at the price. If I had loved my nails I wouldn't have minded but instead I have to pay to get them redone elsewhere. Owners or managers should not let inexperienced or unskilled nail techs work on paying clients. Hopefully they make some changes here but I won't be testing the waters anytime soon. I'll be back to driving all the way to Jax for my nails once again. read more

Although I really tried to give this place the benefit of the doubt... I've gone twice and I probably won't go back. If I do I would only go with Mr. James. Very sweet man who took his time even though everyone else seemed like they wanted to go home. I gave it three stars because I loved my nails but the customer service was terrible. I got home and looked at my nails in the sun and realized there were finger prints in my nails, they were all dirty and they didn't clean my nails, or cuticles, the edges were all rough and this wasn't the color I chose. When I told them I wanted my money back they argued with me and told me I couldn't get my money back "because it was the color I chose" but the color wasn't the only issue it was the manicure in it's entirety, I also waited 45 minutes for this and she quickly did it in about 20 min, horrible and rude and unprofessional. The first time I went there I saw Leon and everything was great. He paid attention to detail. This time I went and it was awful. Leon was 45 minutes late with no apology. There are signs everywhere that you must wear a mask. I'm great with that. They took my temperature when I walked in. As I sat down I noticed 90% of the staff was NOT wearing a mask! How can you ask others to do what you are not doing. The nail tech behind my chair was so loud and obnoxious. No professionalism at all. My nails are so thick and lumpy I could have done a better job! Oh and after he did my nails is when he decided to tell me the price went up $10 more. So for a regular fill no gel polish it was $25. I'm confused! *** Waited over an hour which was ok as I wanted to try this place. However the young Asian girl who did my pedicure knew I had gel polish on my toes so she wrapped them then proceeded to ask me if I had it on my nails too?! I answered yes. Then she wrapped my nails in aluminum foil too?!! I told her that was a first which fell on deaf ears. Under my gel polish is acrylic which needed a fill, hence what I said when I arrived, fill & pedi! After my hands were foiled for an hour , I told her I wanted them off. When she started scraping them she wanted to know why they were sticky?!?! Well there was acrylic under there.. she then proceeded to blame me & my poor communication?!?! I've been doing my nails for 25 years and I've never had this kind of experience. She embarrassed me & then pissed me off when she told me to put my shoes back on over a toe that the gel polish was t cured on! I now have 2 toes that i'm going to have to go fix today... While i'm putting my shoes on she proceeded to ask another gal, Sunday, to do my hands . Then went and filled another clients nails lol.. more embarrassed at this point. Sunday was amazing & sweet and even had to tell the young Asian girl to stop & drop it as the young girl was still going on about the ordeal. Never once did a manager come and speak to me. There was also a young girl walking around cursing, calling everyone bae, eating chicken wings while walking around ( along with other employees) and then was changing the music and turning it up. The music was rap & saying inappropriate things ( for a business) . I thought she owned the place but she was just a client... It was all to much. Do not waste your time or money on this place! I just recently moved to the area and have been trying to find a place, I have had to return three times to this place to have my nails fixed because the polish chips and peels after 2 days! The last time I went they wrapped my nails and I sat there waiting for an hour while other people who came in after me went before me. I eventually walked out and went somewhere else. First time there. Went in at 11 this morning and the wait was 45 mins. Went back at 10 mins to 6. Sat there 5 mins while they fought over who's turn it was to do nails, none wanting to. Very unhappy with my nails. I actually have been told by two different friends that this shop is great but I had a bad experience and my Nails are awful. They are uneven lengths, she cut me multiple times,super thick lumpy ugly acrylic, crooked nails. The lady who did them did not know what she was doing.. I'm in town on a gals trip and was recommended to go here by a local. They do a great job! Mao did my pedicure and manicure and I wish I could pack her in my bag to forever be my nail lady! The color I got was Rosewood, beautiful fall color by the way! For my nails, she did the dip nail in clear and painted it with the gel polish. I'm giving this salon a 5 star review because they were so nice and saved me! I went to another salon to get SNS and my nails were so bad I couldn't stand it! They took me almost right away. Like I said I had SNS but I was on a super rushed time constraint so she filed them down and did gel because that was the quickest option. I don't love them but I don't think this visit was a completely fair example of their work. They worked me in & did my nails super fast. They were very nice and friendly. Worst experience & ended up in the ER. Reporting to DBPR. I told the tech I was allergic to gel. He still used gel. I woke up with finger tips burning and eyes on fire. I had to soak my nails off immediately and then wash my eyes with water My eyes swelled up so bad I ended up in the ER. The particles during filing got into my eyes causing a horrible reaction and numbness. I spoke to the manager who could do nothing and he called the owner who came in. I was clearly in distress and I asked if there was a policy on treating eyes if not I would need to go to the ER. The manager had previously said they had no policy on how to treat eyes with gel. He owner said no, then he asked me how many other salons I tried to rip off. He humiliated me accusing me of just wanting money and he said he would bet that if he called other salons they would say I tried to scam them the same way. I never complain about anything ever but I was in pain, didn't know what to do, etc and all the owner could do was humiliate me and say all I wanted was my money back and I wan not getting it. Money wasn't the issue although I spent $120 in there which included my daughters nails. The entire time my teen age daughter was with her tech she talked to the other tech and a customer about how white people are so privileged and they made many raciest remarks about white people. We are white and it all made my daughter feel horrible and vey uncomfortable: if the owner had not treated me so badly & made me cry I would have dropped it. But he was truly horrible to me. You should see the photos of my eyes. Never go to this place. read more
