The nails were literally cut crooked and the edges are messy (I wasn't given a chance to look at them before being ushered to the desk to pay). I should have said something about the pain and discomfort, but after being clipped twice I was just trying to get through without crying (even the massage chair was awful). The place is beautiful and I am thankful my friend had a different technician that did a good job. We got our pedicures, and I went over to get gel X for my hands. The lady that will do my nails comes over and looks at my hand, LAUGHED and says you pick at your nails huh? Mind you, I had physics and biochemistry exams in the past week that made me very anxious, and unfortunately I ended up picking at my skin. Then she sits down and asks me the color that I want, and I tell her exactly the one I picked out with the exact number, and she scoffs and tells me that we have so many of those, and I was like, okay, and showed her the exact one. Then she asked me what shape, and I showed her a picture and described it, and she laughed again; she mumbled under her breath and laughed. Then I showed her another photo of what I wanted, and she laughed yet again and started doing my nails. Genuinely, I was in shock; I started tearing up because what in the world prompts you to laugh in your customer's face multiple times. Then I ask her to make my nails a little bit shorter because they were too long, yet again, she scoffed in my face and then proceeded to make them shorter. Then, after my nails were almost done and she was putting on the final top coat, my mom came over and showed me her nails (we got the same color), and the lady asked her to see it, and again SHE LAUGHED in front of my mother and me. Then my mom left, and the lady told me that she thinks it doesn't look good, like, okay??? Then, after she was done with my nails, I went to look at them, and EVERY SINGLE NAIL is a different size compared to my other hand. At this point, I did not want to interact with this lady anymore because she was so incredibly rude to both my mother and me for no reason. One thing that Lotus Nails should take from this, especially the lady who did our nails, is to be kind to one another; you never know what's going on in someone's life, you don't know what someone is going through, and a fun day spent with my mom turned really grey because of your employee. Please do better, I am very disappointed. You should never make a customer feel bad about anything they ask for when they are paying $150+ for services and being nice. I only hope that, in the future, this lady learns to be nicer to the people around her and learns and grows to be a better person. I came in tonight an hour before closing asking for toe polish change and owner said I would have to wait for the girl to finish with a pedicure . I waited an hour and then she took someone one else ahead of me that had a manicure. I told the owner you should have told me there were was 2 ahead of me and 90 min wait . I would have came an another day. She told me only the one lady was a head of me. I patiently waited an hour. That is horrible business to not be honest and disrespectful of my time. Most mail places would just be honest and tell you 90 min wait . I won't tell people to go back there. I was once a satisfied customer, just bad business.
