I visited several different dealerships over Labor Day weekend. This dealership was rude and unprofessional. I was interested in leasing a small SUV after test driving the Trax asked what I could expect to pay monthly on a lease. He quoted a number without asking what I was putting down or what my credit score was which I found surprising. When I said that was much more than I wanted to pay he said it was the lowest I could expect to pay. When I got up to leave the shady manager followed us out and said "come back and talk" I told him you already told me you couldn't possibly do better so no point! They are shady and unprofessional. I bought what I wanted from a another dealer within my budget. read more

I wish I could separate the sales department and the service department. The sales team is a solid 5 stars, very helpful and probably the most trust worthy in the state of New Jersey. However the service department is so bad it would be funny if it wasn't my fully loaded 2ss camaro being the bad end of the joke. Most recently I visited because of my interior having multiple bad rattles. I pointed out that this is factory sound system and that the rattles occur at half volume 3/4 bass. The dealership excitedly told me that they had simply turned down the bass and that the problem was solved. Additionally my seat needs to be replaced and my infotainment system likes to freeze. It's been about a month since i visited the dealership during which nothing was done except for a promise to call me back. Still no call back and I have left messages read more

While I was shopping I stopped here to look at the Silverado. GM was offering huge discounts from sticker price, so I thought it was worth a shot. I walked in and getting service was slow. When I finally did I went through what I was looking for. There was a 2016 leftover as well as the incentives on the 2017. He told me he would have to sell the 2016 leftover for more than the 2017. Obviously a no go. I asked to see the trucks - it was already under the carport, apparently because my salesman wanted to buy it and was upset that I was showing an interest in it. He proceeds to tell me how expensive it is and how much my payment would be. Alright - I get it. You want it. If you don't want to sell me a truck - say so. I ask for some preliminary numbers on the existing offers - including estimated payments (I was still waiting on a lease return). I get the numbers and again he emphasizes how expensive it is. He then hands me a book and sends me on my way. Never offers to show me the inside of the trucks, a test drive, or anything else. I went and bought a F150. I also took a look at their reviews... I find the constant 5 star reviews a bit suspect, especially based on my experience. read more

Stopped in to sell my 95 year olds fathers car which was purchased from them 2011 impala with 20,000 miles on it in excellent condition . After waiting 35 min they low balled the price like the internet doesn't exist ... they wasted my time and showed no interest .. oh by the way the old man was in WWII and defended this country bravely .. but they acted like they weren't in the car business .. shame on them .. don't buy anything from these idiots read more

I love this dealership. I brought my car in for an oil change and was greeted immediately. The gentleman even walked out and held the door open for me so I can push my baby and stroller inside. Vinny (I think that was his name), helped me out and kept me informed on my cars status and that my warranty covered my oil change. He even had the guys bring the car inside the garage so I don't have to load the baby into the car under the rain. These little things really mean a great deal and shows that they truly do care about their customers and are not just looking to meet quota. I have a Chevy dealer literally half a mile from my house and I'd rather drive the 16 miles to Oasis and have my oil change done whenever i want rather than take my car to the nearby dealer who makes you wait a month for an oil change. Give me a break! read more

I did not purchase my 2010 Chevy Malibu at Oasis, but I have been having it serviced there for awhile now. So this review is for the service department. First, their Service Advisors are excellent. I have previously worked in the service department at a different NJ car dealership (just as an appt coordinator and file clerk), but I used to interact with the advisors, mechanics, and parts guys on a regular basis at. Needless to say, I know what good quality dealer-level service looks like. My car was having somewhat of a serious issue that was related to a recall. Against my better judgement, I brought it to the dealership nearest to my house, since I wasn't sure if the issue would reoccur on the way to Oasis. The other dealership wanted to charge me hundreds of dollars. I found out later that a salesman checked me in at the other dealer and didn't know what he was doing (it should always be a service advisor). They were extremely rude to me the entire time. I was SO frustrated and upset, and this was the day before the holiday. It seemed like they were trying to price gouge me, and I have NEVER had that issue with Oasis (keeping in mind that I again have a relative idea of reasonable dealership service pricing). I was on the phone with the corporate GM service and everything. It was just a horrible and extremely stressful morning for absolutely no reason. I called Mike (my usual service advisor) at Oasis and explained what was happening. At this point of the morning, I was maxed out stress-wise. Mike offered to look at it right away for me (even though by this time it was almost lunch on the day before the holiday) if I thought the car was safe enough to drive there. He was so friendly and genuinely concerned about everything that had transpired at this other dealership. I am so grateful that they were able to look at my car and fix it and get it back to me on such short notice. I did not think anything could keep me from exploding by the time I was finished with the other dealership, but Mike was so understanding and really helped set me at ease. I just think that I would give him an 11 out of 10 if I had to rate him on customer service. Furthermore, I really appreciate the way that Oasis has treated me like a valued customer from the very first time I brought my car in for service (despite the fact that the car was not purchased from them). It's common for dealerships to show preference to customers who purchased their cars from them and then use the service department as well (even sometimes, free services can be negotiated when buying a car in the first place). I have experienced dealerships (like the morning one) that are downright obnoxious if they are not the ones that normally service the car or if you go to an independent mechanic for basic maintenance instead of them. Not the case with Oasis. From the start, they treated me so well. There was no judgement on where the car came from or who had done the previous service. What matters is to Oasis is that you're there now, and they're going to do everything in their power to deliver top notch customer service and satisfaction with the quality of their work. In addition, Oasis always return my phone calls, they are so nice, and the biggest thing of all: they are HONEST. At some dealerships or even independent mechanic shops, you have to be wary of whether they are going to come up with random charges or parts that don't necessarily need replacing. Oasis has never done that to me. Also, even though they recommend the regular services to the car, they never pressure you into something, and they understand that it is costly and not everyone always has the amount out of pocket at all times. So they work with you if you want to push the service out by a month or so to afford it instead of trying to shove it down your throat. Lastly, Oasis always sends me service coupons for my vehicle too, so it is nice if I have a big service coming up. Never going to any other dealer with my car again. Thanks, Mike, and all the staff in the service department at Oasis. read more

Mike in the service department was very patient with me and provided excellent customer service. He even did it with a smile every time. He really went above and beyond the call of duty. I will return just to work with Mike again. read more

When I bought my most recent new car in 2011, Chevrolet was the last brand I had considered, and thus Oasis was the last dealership I had thought of going to. But, they and Chevy won me over. Jon in the sales team was very honest, courteous and reasonable, and we hammered out a good deal pretty quickly. Ever since then, Oasis is where I've taken this car in for service, and every visit has been wonderful. There have been some issues with the car, but they've worked with my extended warranty company to make sure everything has been covered. Mike in service has been professional, patient, and very reasonable in diagnosing the problem and making sure it was fixed right the first time, on top of normal maintenance items that are needed. And though the warranty repairs required a lengthy stay in the shop, they made sure I was back on the road right away with a courtesy rental. They've definitely made a customer for life with me, and when it's finally time to get a new car, Oasis will be the place I go to buy it. read more

Awesome dealership, excellent service. This is my second Truck from here and both times I left the dealership feeling good about the deal. Why go anywhere else? read more

I tend to avoid dealerships because I feel like I'm getting ripped off or schmoozed to buy a car but I heard good things about this place so I figured I'd give it a try. I've been twice for maintenance so far and was equally impressed both times. They found a nail in my tire without me even mentioning I was having air pressure issues with that tire (I only went in for an oil change and they were BUSY!) and the second time they comped my bill because they were busy and it took longer (like an hour) to get everything done. I will definitely be coming back. read more

Everybody is always so pleasant. My vehicle is always finished at the estimated time. I always suggest Chevy when I hear of someone looking to buy a new car. read more

I recently leased a 2016 Chevy Cruze Oasis in Old Bridge. The showroom was clean and everyone was completely professional. My sales consultant Tas Niyazi was very patient and answered my many questions in detail. It was 90 plus degrees out but he walked me back and forth to my different options because I was torn in my decision. After our test drives and Tas literally going over all the amazing features, Tas didn't try to sell me a car with bells and whistles- which I didn't need, he helped me decide on the best car for me and my budget. I highly recommend Tas and Oasis. read more

I came in a month ago to get an oil change on my car. I was on my lunch break for work with not much time. Technician James and Service Manager Vinny were very quick, efficient and very nice and welcoming. They were understanding that I needed to get back to work, I didn't wait long at all, I say it was the fastest and cleanest oil change I've ever had. Always a great time coming in to get my work done at Oasis. Vinny and James are great, hardworking men. read more

Very good service dept. People were very nice. Wish they would offer a loaner car when your car is being repaired for a few days. They do offer a ride home when you leave your car there. read more

All the workers there are super helpful and friendly. I took my car for some work on the oil pan and a few other bells and whistles and the service guy was a big help and super nice. They scheduled the work done to my car at my convenience and gave me a ride when I needed to get home while my car was being serviced. Usual dealer prices were expected lol can't win them all but the work is professional and top notch. read more

If anyone wants to finance or lease a car go to any other Chevy dealership but this one. I was planning on financing two trucks because my lease from here is up in February but, I'll be going to Bridgewater Chevy. This place can never keep up with any promises ever made and is your typical scam car dealership. The service department is a joke and filled with people that don't know what they are doing. No wonder everytime you go there they have new employees. They can't even keep staff how can they keep customers. read more

I made an appointment for service online. I wrote that I had a recall item, oil change, and update to enfotainment. When I arrived, it seemed that they weren't expecting me, because I had to tell them what I needed, and give them all my info that I previously filled out online (this is a waste of time). They then told me they only do oil changes on weekends. This isn't a problem, but why wasn't I advised of this prior to me dropping off my car? I would have made other arrangements! I dropped off my corvette a week after having it detailed, when I picked it up it had been left in the rain! A car like this shouldn't leave the shop dirtier than it arrived, but that wasn't the worst of it. They left my hatch partially open in the driving rain, so I had water INSIDE my trunk! I think a bunch of teenagers taking my car for a joy ride would have left it in nicer condition! read more

I leased a Cruze. Matt Angis was the salesman. He was extremely helpful and made the process painless. I came all the way from Brooklyn to get the car because of him. read more

Was a great car buying experience. My salesman, John Marrone, was a great guy and between him and the rest of the team at Oasis, it was a smooth, fast and painless experience. Would recommend them to anyone and will be back for my next car. read more

Garbage work. Took my new car in and they damaged it. They repaired it, but didnt clean up there mess. Original repair took way too long. Had to take it back for the same problem. Service people are nice, mechanics seem incompetent. My car is also missing screws. read more

Avoid this dealership at all costs. I bought a brand new 2013 chevy malibu eco and within the first month the car completely stalled and shut down on the highway while i was going 60+ mph. Fast forward a few years the car lit on fire. Prior to the fire they ordered a recall part (the generator control module, which may or may not have caused the fire) which i still have not recieved and it has been over a year. I took it in for service 2 weeks ago and they replaced the wrong part even though we had told them we replaced that part two or three months ago and the car came back with more problems (the abs is now broken and so is the stabilitrak). I have been waiting three weeks for them to take the car back and give us a loaner and they have been ignoring my calls. When we mentioned the recall to mike he pretended to know nothing about it and didnt recall ordering it almost a year ago even though it is in the records and we have mentioned it to him multipule times. They even had the nerve to say the recall expired (recalls dont expire). You can look at my profile, i dont complain but this business will try to avoid fixing the problems they have caused and will do anything to avoid you if they are at fault. read more

I purchased my Tahoe in florida and while visiting family in nj I started to experience problems with my truck. My truck being 5 days old was acting up so I first took it multi Chevrolet in Union and because my truck was not bought from their location I was not assisted ( even with my extended warranty and current warranty) instead the service advisor was rude and embarrassed me in front of the staff and customers present. I left and googled another Chevy location and ended up at Oasis Chevy on Rt 9. A huge thank you to the team at Oasis. A bigger thank you to Lindsay the service manager. Lindsay you assisted myself and my husband with nothing but the utmost respect and professionalism. You listened to the issues we had and explained our options. Thank You!! You were a life saver!!!!! read more

I started my day looking for a car at the Staten Island dealership - it was a terrible experience and I left feeling like I probably wouldn't be getting a Chevy Sonic before the year's end. We decided to drive out to Oasis, because that's where my daughter leased her Equinox and she had a good experience there. Well, the difference was night and day! We were immediately greeted and made to feel welcome. Joe V., the salesman, listened to my needs and didn't treat me as "less than" because of the type of car I was looking for - which was how I was made to feel on Staten Island. The fact is, it wasn't affordability, but how I intend to use the car that drove my decision. The folks at Oasis treated us respectfully and I don't think it would have mattered what type of car I was looking for. I was shocked at how quickly we went from test drive to driving home. I would absolutely advise anyone looking to purchase a Chevy to go with Oasis!! Thank you. read more
