Very few outdoor, water side gems in Berkshire County, and this is one of them. Small..intimate...not to be confused with Proprietor's Lounge sized patio or menu. This is a very unique & special setting, a reservation is a must and they will call to cancel for inclement weather as there is no indoor alternative here. Here, it is as if you are in someone's private yard, with acoustic music, and the host grilling patio side under a fading sky. Full bar, cocktails reasonably priced & well made. Staff is lovely( it was obvious though that there are many management hands in this venture). We were fortunate to catch David Reed here, who was amazing. There are 2 seatings , we arrived in time to grab a lakeside table, a small clearing that allows a nice lake & sunset view. Small but delicious & well executed menu. You are not necessarily heading here for the food per se, but the entire ambiance. They prepare all food on the patio, therefore the menu must be accommodating to the space. A jewel in every way! The setting for dinner - watching the sunset across the pristine Laurel Lake - was as close to perfection as imaginable. The music - provided by the mind-bogglingly multi-talented David Reed - was delightful. The service - by genial and welcoming host and staff - was personal, attentive and inviting. And the food/drinks - much of which is made on an outdoor grill - was delicious. Parking is ample. Reservations for one of two nightly seatings are necessary. You said you were sorry me and my partner didn't have a better experience. Where did you get that /I was by myself I don't have a partner. You seem very defensive. All I suggested was expanding the menu to have real entrées instead of just being a sandwich place. And as far as an outdoor bar, have you ever been to our outdoor wedding. You just roll out of portable bar there in the evening and you can serve drinks right to the desk or people can sit at it or sit around it. Like I said, the venue is incredible. The view was fabulous. The music is good. The staff is nice, the food is good for lunch. I don't know how you call yourself a bar and grill or why anyway it's not a bar. It's an outdoor restaurant and having entrées for dinner is not a new idea. read more

Truly and oasis* incredible food and beautiful scenic views of Laurel Lake. We got a pitcher of the Smooth as Silk Frozen Margarita which was really refreshing and delicious. Our entrees were also delicious. I got the Atlantic salmon on a salad. It was cooked perfectly. Then for dessert we got the salted Carmel cake, the layered chocolate cake, and the carrot cake. A night of perfection. All service steps were performed to the tee from our greeting, seating, to the exit. All staff, from the owner, the bartender, the wait-staff, and the chef's all made an appearance at our table to ensure we were well taken care of. A lot can and will go wrong with patio dining, from the sun, temperature, wind, rain, insects, noise from other guests. However, not this particular evening. The view of the lake, kayakers, the Edith Wharton property on the back-side of the lake were all stunning. Food and presentation were as close to perfection as you can get as well. We had two fresh mixed green salads, one with a beef patty and the other with salmon. We loved the crunch of the dried out garlic cloves beside the softness of chopped avocado. We also had a1/2 lb burger on brioche served parm/potato wedges - ate every morsel. All, of this was spent passing the time with the gentle sounds of Marianne Polermo and her trio. I just had dinner with my partner at the restaurant tonight. It's a lovely location right on the lake. They had a live trio singing cool old standards and it set a great mood without be overwhelming. The menu is simple/limited with a few apps , some salads,and 3 kinds of burger/salmon/chicken sandwiches. We had the burger and salmon and they were very nice but really not special. The service was green as it's a new restaurant, but everyone was lovely. So if you want simple fare then this fits the bill. read more

This is a perfect venue for an amazing night of hanging out by a lake listening to music. Albeit, the menu is limited but delicious. Better to do a few things well rather than too much not as well. The wait staff was attentive and always filling our water glass or clearing dirty dishes. HIGHLY RECOMMEND and looking forward to dining there again next time I am in the Berkshires. read more

We highly recommend this hidden gem in Berkshire County. Besides the fantastic lake view and music by David Reed, our waitress Asia was amazing! She was friendly, efficient and wanted to make sure we were satisfied. At the beginning of the meal, the owner, Kurt, came over to introduce himself. The food was delicious and even the chef stopped by to make sure we enjoyed the meal. The other servers also would respectfully check to see if we needed anything. We definitely will be back. It was our first time to Oasis Grill but it won't be our last. The setting and the view are beautiful, and the music was fantastic. The food was simple and delicious - just the way we like it. We are thrilled that the Oasis Bar and Grill has opened at the Lakehouse Inn. The outdoor dining overlooking Laurel Lake is beautiful. The menu offers a variety of classic casual dinners. I enjoyed the burger with thick cut bacon and homemade potato wedges and my wife had salad with salmon. Both were delicious. The salad had homemade granola with almonds, pistachios, garlic chips and cranberries. Both of our desserts were excellent - carrot cake and salted vanilla caramel cake, both served with local Highlawn Farm ice cream. The staff was friendly and attentive, and we really enjoyed the live background music by singer/guitarist, Tess. It was a really enjoyable experience, and we look forward to our next visit. read more
