This business also owns Main Auto next door....I was a customer here for years ....I've fixed my car here multiple times as an Uber driver....I've also had a couple of accidents and always took it to their body shop next door....when I fixed my car he always told me "life time warranty on his work" but that's all BS....I never hit my car after he fixed it (which was now over a year ago" I saw the owner at a local shop and told him about a piece that came out from the side....and told him he said he had a lifetime warranty on his work....he said he never told me that which is false....then I said YOU did....then he said "well i'm now canceling it".....this owner will tell you anything to make you feel satisfied that he did a good job but don't believe any trash that he says....I've spent thousands here and he talks like he doesn't need anyone's business.....and I told him....THAT'S WHY I DON'TBELIEVE ANYTHING YOU SAY" and he said I'll learn like my mom pahahahah (my mom has taken her car here before and he tried to overcharge her...my mom then went to another body shop and they fixed it with no issues and treated her right ....so who loses here? YOU DO LMAO.....the owner Ace...is a joke....I'd recommend other shops for mechanic work and auto body read more

Oasis has been my go to body shop for years they have always provided great service and quick turn around times

Car got dinged up parking in my building. Jess and his crew painted and buffed out the damage. Done in a timely manner and looks new. Appreciated his transparency and gave me a great deal. read more

These guys are really great! When my car got totaled in the middle of a 5 car accident, Yuri helped me out. He gave me excellent service by handling all the details with my insurance agent. My car runs like a champ several miles later. The second time I had some minor repairs which Yuri and Oasis handled on time as promised. They were able to save money on the part I needed in addition to prompt, friendly service. I'm grateful that I turned to them for help! read more

Oasis Auto Body is a scam operation. Shoddy parts and even shoddier service. My front bumper needed to be re-attached and painted. A few days after Yury claimed to have fixed it the bumper came detached again and the paint completely scraped off. When I returned hoping that maybe there was a reasonable explanation Yury told me I must have damaged it myself again. In the exact same two places. Less than a week after bringing it in. He was practically smiling as if to say "What are you gonna do about it? I already have your money". The more I pressed for some kind of reasonable recourse the more hysterical he became. I took it a second repair shop who confirmed my suspicions about Oasis, and for a few dollars more, fixed my bumper without issue. Lesson learned. This is who they are. Disreputable scam artists and proud of it. Buyer beware. Anybody who would like further info about my experience can contact me at adamrosman@strogercchs.com Adam Rosman, MD. read more

In a day and age of scamming auto shops, you cannot trust ANYONE. Anyone except for Oasis (and Main Auto). These guys are honest, would never offer any "you need ten filters, blah blah blah" unneeded services, and give the best prices out there. I have been taking my car there for over 10 years now, and they have never failed me. Yuri, Alex, and Rick have great credentials, are BBB certified, and provided excellent and prompt service, hands down. I would not go to any other mechanic, even if I need to drive extra miles to get there. Highly recommended. read more

First time I ever needed a body shop, and Rick was awesome. He did a minimum amount of work, which saved me money, and my car looks brand new. Other garages wouldn't even quote me for repair, claiming it was impossible. This repair was on my door, as I had a collision with the door open and smashed the edge of the door in two places. Everything on the door worked fine, it just needed to be un-smashed and painted. Rick repainted just the back half of the door and blended it in on both sides. You cannot even tell it was ever smashed! I'm really thankful to Oasis for saving me hundreds of dollars by not doing unnecessary work! read more

I had some vandalism repaired on my older SUV this week. My car has 100K miles on it and I've put off having this done because I couldn't justify an insurance claim to cosmetically fix a car that might last another couple years. First I took my car to a national body shop with these instructions, 'this car is old, I don't want a showroom fix, I just want these keymarks off if you can' The response was that the only way to fix it was to disassemble the whole panel, take off the windows, etc. $1400. Estimate 8 days for the work I found Oasis on yelp. Took the car in to Rick with the same instructions. And these are BAD scratches that they're estimating - $700. We set an appointment, I dropped my car off, one day later it was done. The car looks brand new. Total cost - $600. I couldn't believe it. I could not believe it. These days I presume everyone is working to steal from you. It was refreshing to see Rick's shop give me exactly what I needed, no less, and at far less cost then others. This is American diligence, small business, at work. Good work guys! read more

Trustworthy, appropriately priced, funny, truly believes in his business... I'm a tough critic. I'd be perfectly honest if his work was shotty... it was perfect. The price was exactly what we thought it would be to fix my busted tail light. I didn't even file an insurance claim. Enterprise car rental is in walking distance. They own the mechanic shop next door. Was able to throw in a couple much needed fixes as well... Just a great business all around... These are your guys. read more

I went there before they changed owners and had gotten good service at a good price.. just went this week to get my front bumper replaced and found out there's a new owner. Long story short he was very nice and gave me a real good price for my bumper.. my car was ready and in 2 days like stated and the work looks great. I really like the fact that he game me a choice of type of bumper I wanted instead of pushing the most expensive. He also owns the shop next door.. north of it.. I literally moved parking lots and had them repair my tire also at a very good price and excellent service. Definitely recommend this place. read more

Notice how the other posters rave about the honesty and craftsmanship at Oasis Body Shop in Skokie? Rick and Alex are competent, honest, and straight talking people in a business usually run by sociopaths. I had my Honda Accord towed there from ANOTHER shop because of the games at the first shop. Rick immediately identified what was wrong and what was right, fixed it on time and slightly under budget- and it drove like a Honda should! This should be the only place you take your car to for repairs- mechanical or bodywork. They are top-rated on BBB and their mechanic is ASE certified. Since my first visit there three years ago- it is the only place my family take their cars and the only place I recommend. They are honest. Best darn auto repair shop out there! Thank you Rick and Alex! read more

Fixed my bumper for nearly nothing, and it looks a LOT better. Quick, reliable service. read more

Great local business -- reliable and trust-worthy. We used to go around and get the best quotes...until we started getting THE BEST quotes from Main Auto: Oasis. The work they do is excellent and the price is right. Let's just say we don't shop around anymore for the best price. My family and my Skokie friends all go to Main Auto: Oasis. read more

I took my SUV here after an accident. They claimed they fixed my car. There was Visable damage to what they said was fixed, an inch gap between fender and car. I made them fix it. 6 months later the car fell apart. Another mechanic reviewed their work, they didn't do what they claimed to do. State Farm was not happy with this group and they are also looking to remove them from their referred services, as they lost money due to this shops poor repair. read more

Love this place when we need a good and inexpensive repair shop. Rick always takes good care of us and seems to be the cheapest place whenever we get estimates. The work always seems to hold up as we keep our cars for years. Not sure what else they can do to improve. It's my first choice when I need body work. read more

Rick do a good job fixing the drain holes that was sealed by MPH auto body shop. Now I know where to go with regards to body repair.

No Stars (It made me give one to post) At first he seems cool, but the paint job is bad. (We found Hair in the Paint). He doesn't answer the phone. Then to boot he didn't put the fender liner back on properly (didn't add all the pieces) and it ripped off and cost us 100's of dollars to replace. DO NOT USE THIS PERSON. read more

Absolutely love the guys! Absolutely live up to their A+ BetterBusinessBureau rating. Rick is a great manager and a great person to talk to (and he's easy and comfortable to talk to). Got a deep dent + paint damage to fix on my car's rear panel. They did it in 2 days and the price was half of what other bodyshops around wanted to charge me (even when I wanted to pay hard cash). Real nice place. Rrecommend to everyone and will absolutely come back to them if need be. read more

I brought my car in for an estimate 6 months ago to repair the left side which had gotten swiped and gouged out over the rear tire. It had begun to rust and was hideous. I had been quoted over 4 grand to fix it at other places. Rick at oasis gave me a free estimate for the work for about $1000. I finally took it in on Wednesday. Rick still honored the original quote and I had the car back Friday afternoon. I was in shock when I saw it! My car looked like it had never been hit and the paint and body work was seamless. The only problem I have now is it makes every other scratch and dent stand out more because it looks so good. I will have them fix any other repairs I need from now on. They were fair, honest, fast and accommodating. They now have a customer for life! read more

Rick made me an estimate which was almost half of what Gerber had given me. Also I have been told that the damage cannot be done painless and I was OK to go with traditional repair. I left the car and Rick called me the next day with good news that he was able to repair the damage using painless method and the charge is about half of what he initially estimated. I was skeptical, because it was too good to be true, but when I saw the car I couldn't believe - there is NO way to find out there was a damage there. Very happy with the job that was done. read more

Seriously, the best best place ever, I really recommend this place, there's not a better place where you can take you car that not be oasis. Rick is an expert and helps you a lot. Great costumer service, price really good, and they do their job really fast and as well. If I could I would give 10 stars. Awesome awesome work. read more

I live in Wisconsin and work in Illinois and was referred to OASIS. I'm glad I was. They gave me a quote, advised they would try to find off-market material for a lower price, did just that and paid LESS than what I was quoted. The service was professional, efficient and timely. I will come back again. read more

Rick turned what could have been a nightmare of an experience into one that was smooth and easy. After getting into a car accident a few months back, I had to have my car towed to a nearby auto shop that was supported by my insurance, so after a quick Yelp search, I chose Oasis. Best decision I've ever made! My car was within a couple hundred of being totaled, and two weeks later looked brand new. Rick is such a nice genuine guy, and you can tell he's doing what he loves. Long story short, now that I've found this gem of a place, I won't be bringing my car anywhere else again. read more

the very best reliable - reasonable - trustworthy only one i would take to for body repairs. read more

Quality work quickly and at a great price. Rick replaced the bumper on my car for far less than the estimates I got from other body shops nearby. I thought it might be too good to be true, but his work was perfect. And so quick! I'll definitely be going straight back to Oasis if I ever need it again. Thanks, Rick! read more

Fair price, amazing work. Recently had a door repair by them. They were able to blend the damaged door with the back door perfectly without painting both. Which obviously saved me money. I was honestly in awe when I saw it. Rick is very straightforward honest guy. I would recommend them to anyone that would listen read more

Great work repairing on a pretty severe paint Scratch on my Audi. Rick and his team know their business and preformed the work on schedule and did a great job- you'd never known there was a repair done. read more

Rick at Oasis auto body was great. He is very knowledgeable about working with insurance claims, finished the job on schedule, and did a great job for a very reasonable price. I highly recommend coming here for any auto body repairs! read more

Rick at Oasis auto took my car in on a Friday morning and had it repaired the same day by Friday afternoon replacing an entire bumper cover. This is the second auto body repair that I had done at Oasis and I am very pleased with the results. He gave me two quotes one for OEM parts and one for aftermarket parts and they were both competitive. Very transparent and fair bussiness. Thank you. read more

Terrible place, stay far away. I took my car there after it was in an accident. When I got the call that it was finished, i saw visable damages still to the car. Huge gap between back bumper trim and car where there should be no gap. They fixed it after I complained but they were reluctant. 3 months later another mechanic told me that there was mechanical damage still. Also they charged me for a new part but they never put it in! Insurance company paid to have someone else fix what they claimed to fix but never did. It cost my insurance company an extra $3,000 to fix damages becase Oasis did such a bad job. Don't be fooled, nice to your face but are very deceiving, and poor quality work. read more
