Not expecting too much from an outlet store I was pleasantly greeted upon arrival and the associate was quite helpful with my indecisiveness to find a pair that worked for me, the associate recommended various models that complemented my face. The individual was quite patient as I tried on several pairs before making up my mind. Based my feedback she recommended a pair of Oakleys model: 00943. Very disappointed today. It's December 30 a Friday. A day where the stores should be open for holiday sales. Well not here. I've been here since 10 AM it is now 12 PM and still the doors remain closed. All the websites say it will be open today and it's not. Not even a sign in the entrance to explain why. It's just closed and all the lights off. I guess I'll go spend my money else we're. I really enjoy coming here but lately it's been slowly losing it's good reputation. I come here alot. Fab products and great customer service = an excellent shopping experience! My BF came here looking for a specific pair of sunglasses (bday gift for me :D) and he was helped by a great sales gal. Very helpful and friendly. We came back about a month later to see if the nose pads could be adjusted so the sunglasses would sit more correctly on my face. Jen made some adjustments, and yay; major improvement! She also explained how I should make the adjustments if I wanted to do some more tweaking at home. She even cleaned them! The few times I've been in the store and spoken to someone on the phone has been great. Everyone is friendly and helpful. Two days, two visits, and I'm not sure what to think now. I used the Oakley Vault web site a couple of years ago and I got a good deal. Obviously, because they're renting a space, they can't give tremendous deals. I was curious about the pricing yesterday and went back today to ask a question about the pricing on sunglasses with polarized lenses. I mentioned something about M-Frames--I have two sets. Polarized lenses for those are $130 instead of the $150 I remember from the full Oakley store. That's good. The salesperson asked to see my current mil-spec "Ballistic" M-Frame sunglasses and messed with and broke the clip that holds the lens. Ugggh. I was about to lose it. It's not as though I was going to spend $150 due to their breaking my sunglasses. He went back to the other sales people and talked about it. Eventually, they found a replacement clip, and he repaired and cleaned the sunglasses. I left the store immediately before anything else happened. They had some deals and some of the pricing was good enough, if you need something today. I would rather go to the web site. Perhaps, the store are Livermore Premium Outlets will be less dangerous to my current sunglasses. I've probably had a dozen sets of their sunglasses and will continue to use them, but as they've become dearer in price, I will take more care in buying what they have. read more

I've been here plenty of times and twice I left the store with exactly what I wanted. I'm actually surprised they carry virtually everything even though what I was looking for was very specific and specially limited. And the service, the people who work here are super friendly. They've given my friend and I incredible attention, but then again their products are very pricey. Amazing thing is, even though they're staffed with different people almost daily, I've never seen the same employee twice (odd?) their friendliness and willingness to help, even when they're busy. They also meticulously check your product and clean them before carefully packaging your product to sell to you (don't know what that other guy was talking about) The quality of their products and the friendliness of their staff made my experiences here pretty awesome. Too bad the prices aren't discounted :( read more

Came in to check out frame models that will work with my prescription. I already have a credit with my optometrist so I was not going to be buying frames from the store. Megan was not swayed by this information, she was more than happy to help me find the perfect frames for my funky head and that would support my prescription needs. I won't go into terrible detail but whoever the manager was when I was in treated us incredibly rudely. I came to this mall specifically to go to this Oakley store and drop a couple hundred bucks on a pair of sunglasses. The guy who was working (not sure of name, but was just a sales associate) helped me with picking glasses and seamed educated on what they had. He told me they were having a special on the custom glasses I could get 20 bucks off price on. I mentioned I just bought a pair of custom oakleys two weeks ago for my wife at another Oakley store and we got 40 off her set.. I wasn't demanding the deal or anything just mentioning a past discount.. worth a shot? He quickly said I can do 40 off too! Turns out he couldn't.. and the manager at the time (dark hair lady) was really upset with him and for some reason more upset with us (not sure why?) because of this. Very snarky attitude. I was okay with having to spend the extra 20 and said it was okay but the lady kept the attitude even though we spend about 300 bucks. She put together my new custom sunglasses I picked out and forgot to put the nose piece on them. I brought them back in about 30 min later and she said ohh it is in the box you must have missed them... Luckily she walked out of the store while another associate was nice enough to get me the correct pieces from the back that was most definitely not in the box/bag. If there were another close Oakley store in the area I would have left this mall to go to the other store... Would not recommend this location. Love the sunglass though. read more

Man, I miss the mainland because of these kind of things. You can say I automatically like this place because there isnt one on Oahu. Finding awesome shirts, belts, and pants for ~10 bucks. I'm in, especially this is one of my favorite brands. The had some cool shoes for $30 but there were not my size. Oakley has been really good to servicemembers as well, they have a site for us for buy some nice discounted stuff like M Frames and Gatling boots. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE Oakley and I have 8 or more pair of Oakley glasses. I buy most of my Oakleys either from REI or Oakley.com. I have been to Oakley store at Santana Row and the service was so much better. I asked the store rep that I need to replace lens for my straight jacket and they are not helpful. She seem to busy doing something else. I walked to the counter asking for help and they guy was just not interested to help me either. I had such good experience with Oakley customer service on the phone but this store has poor customer service. I am not asking for FREE lens, I am asking to see the options and they just seem too busy to help a customer. read more

Let me just make it clear: This is the Oakley Vault, an Oakley store that only sells stuff from last season. Although it is from last season, they are still pricey no doubt, considering it is still Oakley. These glasses are still a bit cheaper, and these are great to keep in mind. I've shopped here for a few pairs of glasses, and I would have to say that this is a nice place to shop. The people are very accommodating and very nice. They are very knowledgeable about their products and explain things in-depth. There are no half-ass workers here. If a customer needs help, then they will really help. The store manager is there most of the time too, and she's a nice lady too. I have no resentments about ever shopping here. read more

Great selection from glasses to shirts they have a lot of gear. I needed a another set of shades since my Pradas aren't doing my workouts justice. I tried on a few pairs and since I have a large face I needed something that can do the job and protect my eyes when hiking, running with the dog, etc. So I settled on a pair, however they were not available in a polarized lense, the associate which I wished I got her name (young petite white chick) was extremely helpful, got my particular glasses customized right in front of us and I was out with some new polarized shades. Superb deals on excellent snowboarding outerwear. My jacket and pants totalled just $110. My daughter's snowboarding pants were something like $20. Our whole family is outfitted with Oakley outerwear. More importantly, Oakley outerwear is really good stuff. I haven't tried it in rain yet, but in hot, cold, powder, blizzard, Tahoe and Utah, my Oakley outerwear has performed flawlessly. You can see me putting those pants to the test in my photos. I'm not so into buying Oakleys like some of my friends are. I swear, they can probably go two weeks without ever wearing the same pair. The first pair I ever owned were some Frogskins from the 90s. The only other pair I have are the Racing Jackets that I use for mountain biking. I'm more into buying cheap CHP glasses from gas stations for $6. I was persuaded to try a pair on and became fond of them, but I really didn't want to spend money on a pair of glasses just for fashion. I was doomed from the beginning. I kept trying the same pair on and looking for some reason not to buy them. The pressure from my shopaholic friends pushed me over the edge and I pulled out my credit card. Friends like these are very dangerous. Besides the great looking opticals, I saved a bit of money from this case in the store where they sell glasses that were displayed models or had minor flaws on them. I found glasses that were up to 70% off, depending on which shelf I was looking at. Now that's a steal. Also, there are some savings on clothes in the back of the store. read more

Not as good as some of the other Oakley retail stores I've been and let's face it, it's in the "Not so Great" Mall of Milpitas.

What happened to this store? I walked in and it was completely all male clothing. There used to be a distinction of women and men sides. Now it's just a TINY corner for women's in the back. Yes, Oakley's not typically screaming females shopping there all the time, but still, Oakley's been my go-to for snowboarding gear or just some snazzy fancy sportier clothing and accessories. The layout is quite confusing and it's difficult to see where the women's sunglasses are amongst the sea of male items. It's really a distracting customer experience and making it much harder for me to shop here. It clearly doesn't want women to ever shop here ever again. Has the branding come to this conclusion? That makes me utterly sad. read more

Stopped by the other day with the fiance who needed to make an exchange. First, I'm glad there's an Oakley store right at the Great Mall because it's close to home... even closer work! They had some pretty good deals on some cute jackets, sweaters, and sunglasses. The fiance was able to get like 3 shirts all for $10 each! Pretty sweet deal :) I didn't buy anything at the time because I wasn't in the mood to really shop (yes, I have to be in the mood - I'm not really into shopping like the average girl)... but I'm sure I'll make it a point to come by here every once in awhile maybe during my lunch break. Came into the store today to look at some glasses with my father, and honestly will never come to this store again. We asked one of the employees (his name was Fotti) how much a pair of glasses were and he responded with, "Oh, those are expensive! If you come over here these are cheaper". Like I couldn't afford a $295 pair of glasses. I'm walking into a name brand glasses store, I know very well how much some of these run as my father and I own a total of more than 15 pairs and some of them having been priced more than $400 each. Me and my father simply left, and when we got to our car I called the store, and asked to speak with the manager, a man came on the phone and i asked to speak yo the manager, he said "what can i help you with" sounding as if he was the manager, so i simply ask are you the manager he said no and grabed another employee. A man comes on the phone and says his name is "Bobby" I repeat to confirm, he says yes. I preceded to begin to explain what had happened, as soon as i said Fotti the name of the employee that was rude he interrupted me and said that was him. So I told him I would be calling another manager. I can only imagine what kind of Customer service this place has if the manager was this rude. So Thank you Oakley I think ill start looking at Ray Ban due to several occurrence of bad Customer service at this location. read more

When it was finally my turn, after all the cutting, they were inept. I was notified by my credit card that I was charged for a lens. Instead of processing my return he charged me for a second lens! Worst customer service I've ever had. Unable to return the sunglasses I bought within two days from the purchase date because they found scratches on one of the lenses. The guy who helped me to check out didn't even open the box to check the condition of the sunglasses and I "assumed" it's a brand new pair as he told me. He only told me the return policy is 30 days and didn't say anything about the scratched lenses is not returnable. The store manager denied my return without confirming with her staff and didn't even bother to find out what really happened. I ended up paying full price for the defected sunglasses :( If you are buying sunglasses from this store, make sure you check the lenses carefully. Don't be fool by the sales and trust their words. Believe me, I just paid $120 for this lesson. :( read more

Oakley's style is not for everyone but if you like their vibe this is the place to go to buy Oakley stuff. Biggest selection of Oakley merchandise in the area, if you go to a typical department store they may only have a small selection of Oakley but this place has huge stock usually in all sizes. Steep discounts on most everything, you can check out the oakleyvault.com website to see the markdown amounts though they won't have matching stock as the website. On the flipside they also have stuff that isn't listed on the website - they bring in new stock very frequently and it pays to visit often - every now and then you'll find a gem of a deal (once got a Hardshell backpack for 60 bucks). Apparel gets the biggest markdowns so check here first before paying full retail somewhere else. Have gotten quite a few shirts, polos, sweaters, jackets at 50% off or more compared to retail. Toughest find would be their shoes - limited selection and the better styled ones will usually be the huge foot sizes so i wouldn't count of finding a size 8-10 shoe if that's what you're hoping for. For shoes I would go right to their website to check for sizes. Haven't shopped for their sunglasses so I can't comment on their discounts there. Friendly staff who will always politely ask if you need anything or have any questions, but will otherwise leave you alone to browse. read more

We were on a hunt for a specific pair of sunglasses so we checked to see if the GM had an Oakley store and sure enough it did! That was the first store we went to and a gentleman there was reall nice to explain the difference of polarized and non polarized sunglasses. He went above and beyond what we expected of him so we couldn't be any happier with his customer service. The person at the register was very nice. The store was clean and it was nice to see that all the workers in the store were all pretty consistent with each customer they interacted with. read more
