Extremely disappointing experience with Oakley and, more importantly, with their customer service. I purchased a pair of Oakley sunglasses for nearly $300 and attempted to return them approximately two weeks later. The sunglasses had only been worn indoors for a few minutes to show my family on FaceTime and were otherwise kept safely in their case. When I attempted to return them in-store, the associates refused the return, claiming there was a scratch on the sunglasses. I could not see the scratch they pointed out, and given how minimally the glasses had been used, I found the explanation extremely frustrating. If a nearly $300 pair of sunglasses can supposedly become "damaged" after a few minutes of careful indoor use, that raises serious concerns about the product's durability and quality. What is even more unacceptable is what happened afterward. I made the effort to contact both the store manager and the district manager directly to explain the situation and seek a reasonable resolution. Neither has responded. Not even a courtesy call or acknowledgment. For a company selling premium-priced products, I expect a basic level of accountability, communication, and respect for customers. Ignoring a legitimate customer concern after nearly $300 has been spent is incredibly disappointing and, frankly, disrespectful to your clientele. I would not recommend purchasing from this location based on my experience. The product issue was frustrating, but the complete lack of follow-up from management is what ultimately made this a one-star experience. read more

I just had the most harrowing experience in this shop. I have been buying Oakley sunglasses for 20+ years, and my last pair looked really bad, as the coating came off, without any particular reason. The owner of this store told me it's wear and tear and not a product defect and offered me to look up some third party website where to get new lenses for $50. Well, that's it for me with Oakley sunglasses. I tossed my glasses in the garbage bin right in front of the store and will never buy Oakleys again. Fortunately there are so many choices out there when it comes to good sunglasses that I don't need to buy from a brand who mocks their customers and doesn't stand by their products. read more

Since I took my wife to the Camarillo outlet to shop for stuff, I made sure to visit the Oakley store here. I wanted to check out the Gauge 8 glasses because I wanted to compare it to the Crosshair I have. The employee who was working today was very helpful on telling me the differences. The store is nicely organized with different Oakley sunglasses. I only wear Oakley because they don't give me a headache when I put it on my ear. I own the Crosshair, Radar EV and Half Jacket. I'll be sure to visit this store again if I'm in the area. I ended up just getting the cleaning kit today since I was on my last drops on my original cleaning bottle. read more

I enjoy searching for a new pair of shades when I'm shopping, but today by far was the worst article selection I've seen in a long time, most of the articles appeared old and discontinued.. the sales associate was some how helpful, But was more interested on fixing up his sales display. I don't mind buying discontinued items.. But this articles appeared scratched and had some loose screws, that was an automatic red flag for me, when I ask him if some of this articles have been used or returned The sales associate refused to answer that question. Huge selection of mens sun glasses! My husband loves his Oakley glasses and this is where we go for his sun glasses fix. They actually carry different name brands, not just Oakley. I do wish that they had more sales available, especially being an outlet, but they don't on sunglasses. When you walk in, you'll see the different sunglasses cases to the right and line the entire wall. The sales associates are super friendly here and let you try on anything you want. Their also super patient when you try them on...my husband tried on my be 5 glasses and the guy stayed with us between trying on each pair with no problem. He was also able to provide is input on the different glasses in which one would last longer and which would give the best longevity. Like a true sales man, when he knew we found the glasses for my husband... He proceeded to walk us through the store and showed us all the different sales. I've been a loyal customer at this location for several years. I bought 5 or more glasses from them ($100's of dollars). They pitch their warranty when you're in there buying, but I've had 2 claims and neither one was resolved. Its as if I was never there. Signed up for the registry, but mysteriously can't find me or what I purchased or when. Last time there I was treated so rudely, I'll never shop there again. All the Oakley stores I've been in have great customer service and this shop is no exception. Oakleys may seem light as hell but they are quality made and durable and have great optics - especially if you get polarized and iridium (they look mirrored and come in different colors). I have a few pairs of Frogskins and bought prescription Oakley lenses for them. The great part is that the Frogskins and many other models are easy to pop the lenses in and out so I can swap my rx lenses out when I want a change in frame color. Also if you have a few pairs you can swap out various lenses they came with. For example I have purple and blue iridium and grey so I can mix it up with my different frames and get a new color combo. They sell a good lens cleaner that comes with a microfiber cloth and case and the spray is lifetime refillable at any oakley store for free. If you're trying to figure out what lenses work best for you they let you try them on outside and compare. For me it was really important to get a dark tint that didn't change how colors looked too much so I went with black iridium. Oakleys come with a 1 year warranty but if you register online you get 2 years total. This Oakely Vault at the Camarillo outlets had full priced and discounted sunglasses. I bought a pair of Frogskins in acid yellow with blue iridium polarized lenses for $69 plus tax. The original retail is $180 because of the upgraded lenses. Great deal! read more

It's never been great, but when I went into the store today, there was a young man and young woman behind the counter talking about personal stuff, which is totally fine. It's not fine when there are six customers in the store and nobody is greeted. Also, I was standing in front of a locked case with sunglasses inside that I wanted to try on, and nobody ever came over to help me out. I was standing there long enough to look at the glasses, find which ones I wanted, an then look up on the internet where else I can buy them. Stellar customer service. I was visiting from out of town and stopped in to see if they had replacement nose pads for my sunglasses. One of the sales associates informed me that my part wasn't available but went in the back room, found me an alternative, installed the nose pads, and cleaned my lens... NO CHARGE.
