This is the first time I've ever had terrible service at an Oakley store. I dealt with an employee named Nidia and the service provided by her was just terrible. So my girlfriend bought me some Oakleys online for Christmas, but when she opened them to see what they looked like she realized then that they were The Radar EV S Path which is for children. So I went to this store to exchange them for adult size. I walk to the counter and the girl Nidia was there and I specifically said to her "I would like to exchange these glasses" first thing she asked was "did you start the process online already?" And I said no. She then looked upset about that and continued to type on her computer without saying a word. After her typing for a couple minutes she then says "okay you should see it in your bank in a couple of days" and I replied "oh I wanted to exchange them not a refund" she then said "it's too late I already did the return, you either come back and buy some when they money is in your account or buy some now". Im not much of a confrontational person so I left it at that and began looking. A gentlemen in which name I did not get asked if I had any questions and I asked "I just wanted to see the different type of Radar EV Path glasses you guys have to offer." So he told Nidia to open the drawer so that I can see the different kind of Radar EV they have to offer. She then says "which ones did you want?" And I said "I just wanted to explore and see what choices you guys have?" She then takes a deep breath as if that bothered her and asked in a rude manner "well what do you want them for?" Right then and there I should've walked away because that was not welcoming at all. I've bought my Oakleys at The Irvine spectrum and the customer service there is amazing, they've taken their time to really help me and give me time to think and see what options I have, I've even walked in 30 minutes before closing and they still provided amazing service. With Nidia it felt like I was a bother and I had to choose then and there and she looked like she didn't want to help at all. Overall very disappointed with my experience here and I will be returning the glasses I bought because I realized after I should've never gave her my businesses read more

Stopped by to check out sunglasses, ended up leaving with various items of clothing. Their staff member Vanessa made me feel welcome as she assisted me through finding correct sizes while she also helped others. Very happy with pants and shirts available, prices were reasonable, stylish and comfortable. Will be back again for sure. I saw a couple pairs of shoes and shorts that will be great for summer! I went into the store to buy my husband a pair of new sunglasses for his birthday and they were supposed to be a surprise. I'm really upset that the guy who works there, Ryan Parsons, asked me to put my husband's email to add him to some list and promised me that my husband would not get an email notifying him that a purchased was made, and then my husband did get an email which ruined my surprise. The worst customer experience I've ever been through. I came here to buy some sunglasses. The store did not have them in stock so we ordered through the app in the store. The store manager specifically stated that they had free 2 day shipping (first mistake). I end up getting a notification that it will arrive in 10 days. I ordered 2 glasses, and one didn't show up. I call Oakley, they say they were out of stock. I call to cancel my order and they send me back to the store since this was an "in store" order. The same manager tells me he can't refund me until I cancel the order via calling the headquarters (second mistake). At this point, I'm frustrated. I tell this manager that, the headquarters directed me to you. He says he can't help me (third mistake). I ask again, for my refund. The manager says I would have to talk to the owner of Luxoticca (are you kidding me?!!! strike 3). I call the headquarters only to tell me the same thing. So, I call the store AGAIN. Another manager picks up and solves the issue. Almost a month passes. I have to drive my butt back to the store to pick up my glasses. I will NEVER order from this store again! Oakley has good products but horrible infrastructure in terms of customer service and technology. read more

I've been using Oakley product since 1985 and really have nothing bad to say about the company. Visiting this location in Torrance simply help continue that streak. I was fortunate enough to interact with a gentleman there named Marcus. After I conveyed to him my needs and concerns with prescription eyewear, he knew enough to send me to the custom lab, located inside the Oakley store in Santa Monica. That was yesterday. Today the Oakley success story continued in Santa Monica, as I was waited on by the optician who was truly on his best game from the word go. Thanks Marcus. Aaron had the best customer service, he gets the 5 stars, his supervisor on the other hand was completely ignoring everyone and when we went to make a purchase he tried to take the sale from Aaron. It was extremely unprofessional and he was called out on it. We walked away and the store lost the purchase due to his lack of customer service. read more

This store isn't super close to me but it is the closest Oakley store to my location. I called yesterday to ask if they were open and they stated they were closed that day but would open tomorrow, meaning today. I drove out there and walked in only to find that they were closed. Our warranty claim was wrongfully denied at this location, where we bought three pairs of Oakleys a little over a year ago. The Holbrook Metal Prizm lenses on one pair started flaking off at the location of a metal seam. Clearly no fold, bending or marks from any foul play. Online, many people are complaining about the same exact design defect. The glue they are using is inadequate given the play in the joint. They incorrectly stated that they warranty only for 1 year. Oakley's website actually says 2 years. They then said they lost all of their customer information, since they went to a "new system" and couldn't look up my purchase. I showed them my confirmation e-mail from the purchase, and they said this was insuficient proof of purchase. Every store can look up your purchase by credit card these days, but not Oakley for some reason. The manager claimed he can do me a favor by giving me 50% of the purchase price on a new pair. At the last minute, new glasses picked out, he demanded we surrender the glasses to get the deal. So, we declined, after wasting our time. Also, it turns out that is a standard deal for anyone, not a warranty deal at all. Basically, very dishonest, slippery conduct from folks who clearly just don't want to stand by their product no matter what. read more

I have a really mixed review for this store. My first trip to it was great. I went in there cause my nose piece broke on my glasses. I got a new ear sock and nose piece and Mark helped me out with it. Cleaned my glasses, put it on for me. Was just awesome. Asked me if I wanted a cleaning kit for it to keep them looking new. I probably wouldn't have bought but Mark was so helpful and couldn't accept a tip for helping me out so I bought it. This first trip was 5 stars. When I got home, I opened up the cleaning kit and the cap was broken and unusable. I took it back a couple days later as I live an hour away and the employee was telling me how that never happens. Well it did. He went and talked with the manager and the manager told him to just replace the cap with one of their used ones. I really didn't want an used one as it will probably break sooner than normal cause they use it all the time at their store but I didn't want to argue with them cause I was already in a bad mood that day and didn't want it to get worse. But why would I buy a brand new cleaning kit just to have it replaced with an used one? I wouldn't. No one would. If something is broken then it should be replaced by a brand new one. I did the survey on the receipt and stated all this in there but of course they haven't contacted me yet either so I can only assume they don't care about customer service. This is sad. If this is how they treat their customers then I will never go back. Which is really bad considering that after my visit with Mark and his helpfulness that I was going to go back and buy more sunglasses for family members. Oh well. Guess not. read more
