One of the newest bakeries in town with very good kolaches and Klobasnikis. They also do awesome birthday cakes but reserve it in advance.

Have come here a few times now and can confidently say it's my favorite kolache spot in the area!…read more The sausage bacon jalapeño cream cheese is a must on every visit, probably the best kolache I've ever had. Really makes me wonder why cream cheese isn't used in more savory kolaches. Outside of that one they have a wide selection that has consistently provided hits when I try something new. The bread quality is really good, and they don't skimp on the meats either. I will say their savory quality is a touch higher than the sweet, particularly on the bread, but the sweet are also quite good and have a crazy array of options. I think this spot is super overlooked and is well worth giving a try. I've never run into a line here so if you're tired of waiting at other close by places I'd highly recommend driving the extra block to give this spot a try

I wouldn't do them justice by trying to name everything they have. Cakes, cookies, savory & sweet kolaches, cinnamon rolls the size of your face in at least 20 varieties, & more! It's one of those things you just need to see for yourself! No frills about it. Just good, small & local! I got a the pecan cream cheese cinnamon rolls- 5/5 - just wanted to try it so we split it in 4. So good slightly heated up. Also got ham & cheese kolaches. The bread is best I've had. The ham is not cheap deli sliced ham - it's actual ham ground up. The meat to cheese ratio was a little off for my preference (stuffed full of meat, needed a little more cheese to help cut the salt) but I plan to go back and try more when passing through again. They had some boxes of day old product for discounted price. Go check them out!

This was our pizza. Yum City. Super good. It's not NYC people, just really good bread in a super small town. Don't miss it!

An absolute MUST STOP along I-35 and now my second visit to West, Texas (not West Texas, which is…read morecompletely different). I've been to the other one and now I am here. And while the other one is great and fabulous, this one is one star better. A huge selection of baked goods, coffee, decor, clothing, drinks and more. The Kissing Pig Cafe has so many food options, too! Mrs. K. has not had a kolache in years and she's now pescatarian which presents certain challenges. It would be awesome if they had some kolaches with just cheese or were sweet, so while I had one with ham and cheese and one with sausage in cheese, she was at least able to enjoy a strawberry and cream danish as well as the always awesome poppyseed kolache. It's possible that a pecan square was purchased for later consumption, too. The self-serve coffee was great and we enjoyed all of this inside at a comfortable table. And after that, more shopping. So much great stuff to choose from here and very, very clean restrooms. If you're overwhelmed by that massive baked goods counter, just ask for recommendations. They'll get you sorted for sure! Excellent selection of kolaches and klobasneky. You can also buy sandwiches. Minus: as on previous visits, I have found that they are often out of poppyseed and prune kolaches. Not the servers' fault but you would think management would be keen to bake more of what sells most. Then there are the sandwiches. If you want pork, you'll get value. But if you want brisket, look out! I've never seen a more miserly portion offered for 13 dollars. I understand that brisket is expensive now. But I still get it at various restaurants and have to say that it was a five dollar sandwich for thirteen bucks. Additionally, the sandwich maker apparently does not know what and order for "moist" brisket means. Mine proved rather dry.

We've wanted to visit the Magnolia Silos in Waco for a while now and so happy for the chance. The drive to Waco was just under 2 hours from Austin. We stopped at this cute & quaint bakery after visiting the Silos & before heading back to Austin. There is a charming area to the side of the building with several tables covered by umbrellas & surrounded by potted plants. It was too hot to sit outside! The interior is small but nicely decorated. There was a line but it moved rather quickly. The young lady behind the counter was sweet & helpful. We ordered a chocolate cupcake & a lemon lavender cupcake to go. It was packaged in their signature container. The cupcakes were both so good but the Lemon Lavender was a favorite! Both were very moist & flavorful. We wished we had ordered more!

The girl in the line skipped my order because it was larger and gave my items away. It would have been no problem if she apologized but she didn't she proceeded to mumble about me under her breath and joke with another employer. It's just a cookie- but i would expect better. She doesn't deserve to represent you!
