Taliercio's builds you a sandwich the old school way. Piled high with only the best ingredients…read more One sandwich could make two meals in most cases. Today, wife had pork roll and cheese on hard roll, ate only half because it was so big, having about 6 or more slices of pork roll. I had a classic Ruben with the exception of the rye bread, I had a gluten free (Celiac disease sufferer) sub roll. It was so big, it may make 3 meals for me. Absolutely huge and absolutely one of the best I have had. The staff are an amazing group that bring the old school deli feeling out, which is rare these days.

The line at the door was bananas. But after a 45-minute drive, I wasn't turning around. Pre-surgery gluttonous me was getting this sandwich. I stood in line for another 45 minutes -- plenty of time to decide on the signature cheesesteak. When I got to the register, they gave me the heads-up: $45 for the cheesesteak. At that point the only thing that could ruin it was if it wasn't good. I also grabbed a few extras -- the prosciutto balls (if you know, you know) and some Italian vanilla wafer cookies that are outstanding. Decision time: eat it in the parking lot, or drive 45 minutes home first? I chose to wait. The smell in the car the whole ride back was borderline sinful. Got home, washed up, unwrapped it -- and this thing was enormous, clearly not just chopped-up steak thrown on bread. First bite in, I knew I wasn't in Kansas anymore. It'll probably take me a few weeks to finish (it's that big), but I'm already planning my return trip. Bonus points: while we waited, they kept coming out with fresh hot cheese tortellini and handing out free samples to everyone in line. When I paid, they threw in a whole separate container of it too. For context -- I'm a Philly guy. I'll drive an hour and a half for a cheesesteak without blinking. This place is 45 minutes away and it's still worth it. That says everything. The space itself is bright, clean, and stacked with an incredible variety of Italian fare. Bring patience, bring an appetite, and run -- don't walk. You will not regret it. 5/5 stars. 544 NJ-35, Red Bank, NJ 07701 talierciosdeli.com IG/FB: @taliercios

Made with real juicy chicken no mystery meat, fresh veggies, and tzatziki sauce so good I thought I was in Greece . The wife had a classic cheesesteak you know I had to take a bite amazing to say the least. My mother in law had a Turkey club with crispy bacon non of that chewy stuff, it was packed with over 3 lb of the best @boarshead_official turkey. You can tell they take pride in fresh quality ingredients. My kids are super picky eaters and they gave 2 thumbs up as they devoured tenders and crinkle fries. The store is so nostalgic with old school items like Mary Janes made with real molasses and peanut butter, my favorite was a refreshing apple soda. The staff was fast and very friendly. This place is a true hidden gem literally the bellybutton of NJ surrounded by beautiful farms and trees very picturesque. Saddle up and take a ride with the family you won't be disappointed. . . . @countrystore454 . . . 454 NJ-33 , millstone NJ

You wouldn't expect to find such a hidden gem attached to a gas station - but this friendly, "hole…read morein the wall" country store makes the best breakfast sandwiches in New Jersey!! It all starts with the roll! Perfectly baked, crispy on the outside and perfect on the inside! If you are a fan of buttered rolls, you will not find better anywhere else! Even their butter is a perfectly sweetened, whipped butter salted just right! All of their breakfast sandwiches are without a doubt the best I've ever had! I always order a double egg, cheese, salt, pepper and ketchup on a roll. Of course they also have pork roll, bacon, sausage and everything else you could possibly put on a breakfast sandwich. They also make 5-star lunches! I have had both their tuna and chicken salad sandwiches. They really load it on and the flavor is wonderful! I want to make a point of mentioning that their prices are extremely fair and less than most. In addition their coffee is great too in case you're wondering. Please do not let looks deceive you! You need to go inside this place! There is additional parking around the back. You can even call ahead and place your order so it's ready when you get there. Once you go inside you'll be happy you did! Very highly recommended for breakfast and lunch!

Once you get inside you choose one of 9 lines to get into. DON'T LOSE YOUR BLUE TICKET or you'll be fined extra dollars. Each line has a meat cutter at it. That's 9 guys cutting meats making sandwiches. If you want side dishes like fries, as well as beverages, then after you receive your sandwich at the counter, get out of there and move to the far left to the line NEXT TO Cutter #9. The other option is to specify the moment you enter the building that you want to wait for a table in the back seating area where there's full service with your own server taking care of you. I had no idea what to expect BUT so glad we stopped in. It's a mystery about portion sizes. We ordered a chicken noodle soup, potato pancake and a junior pastrami sandwich all to share! None of this was typical. The soup was plenty to split, the pancake the size of a personal pizza and the sandwich was huge for a junior. We took home leftovers of everything except the soup! My only disappointment was not regular priced matzah ball. I forgot to mention the pickle bar! So fun! This was worth the stop!

The portions here are absolutely legendary. A slice of cake is practically the size of your head. Order a "small" grilled chicken sandwich and you'll get enough chicken breast to feed a family. The BLT? An entire head of iceberg lettuce, enough bacon for four people, and what seems like an entire loaf of bread! You may experience a little sticker shock when you see the prices, but trust me--you need to come hungry! These portions are enormous, and you'll almost certainly be leaving with enough leftovers to keep you fed for days. When you consider how much food you're actually getting, the whole experience makes a lot more sense. It's unlike anything you'll experience anywhere else, and that's exactly what makes Harold's so much fun. And you absolutely cannot visit without checking out the Pickle Bar! They also have plenty of parking, lots of seating, basic ambiance and attentive staff. Whether you're a New Jersey native or just visiting, Harold's is definitely worth experiencing at least once!
