They are not your douchey commercialized surf shop. They also are very responsive on the phone if you have any questions. Even years back, I had some questions regarding their wetsuits and surfboards and they really take the time to help me out in-person and over the phone. ET is well-known among surfers and is trustworthy. Prices are fair and competitive. It is super rare and unheard of to discount wetsuits/ have sales for wetsuits but they do here at ET! They have a huge selection of wetsuits and gear here. I always leave here happy and excited to surf.

Super knowledgeable, helpful, surfs himself and understands the boards and gear that he sells. He might not tell you this, but he's a top notch shaper himself although he doesn't talk much about it. This is a local store that deserves support. They've got killer stock of epic surfboards and clothing. It's the kind of place you can go in, have a drink or a coffee, talk story and look at some clips and some of their old boards they have on the wall. Definitely deserves some hype and some credit -- they've been around for a long time and in this economy it's important to support these guys. I ordered a few boards to figure out what felt right and they were very accommodating. Two items were from their "clearance" section (blemished only, nothing really wrong with them) and one came a little warped. They offered to let me bring it in to let them take a look and ended up just replacing it. The boards are known for being great training tools for surfing. As if that wasn't enough to get you to go with a Carver, the employees I met were super chill but absolutely on top of things. Carver's boards are fantastic and their customer service is top notch.
