Oak Eatery is my favorite place to go to. My husband and I try and go somewhere new in the Twin Cities every couple weeks, but our tried and true is Oak. They have amazing breakfast but their lunch and dinners are also amazing. Great prices too! They do have wine and beer available as well so this is a one stop shop. A fantastic casual eatery tucked away in a small shopping center Oak Eatery brings its' A game to providing amazing causal food and a family friendly place. I visited with two kids in row who had only amazing things to say about what is normally a basic kids menu option-hamburgers. The burgers were cooked to perfection, the fries were perfectly seasoned, and they can't wait to come back. The highlight was definitely the bun-lightly toasted and perfect according to the kids. I had a turkey BLT on gluten free bread that was divine. The bacon was crispy on the edges and flavorful. The turkey was fresh. The lettuce and tomato were okay, but they were outshined by everything else. We'll definitely be back. This is a great place for the whole family and includes lots of options for coffee, beer, and wine, too. The gluten free options are plentiful, too. read more

The first thing I noticed was how spotless the dining and behind the counter areas were. We went for dinner at 6:30 PM on a Friday, and although it was busy it was still spotless. The food was outstanding! I had a French dip sandwich with crispy, fried onions piled on top of a lot of roast beef. My wife and daughter shared a margarita pizza and an Oriental Chicken salad. I ordered take out from here for the first time last week. When I got home I realized my order was totally messed up. When I called the restaurant to explain what happened they handled it with pure class! Accidents happen and people make mistakes, but how you deal with it makes all the difference. I have been a big fan of Oak Eatery for a few years. They are handling Covid the best they can. They are doing a full menu and we do takeout with them quite a bit. They also have the patio open as well. The owner is extremely kind and very appreciative of your patronage as is their entire team. Their kindness adds to the great food they serve. I was there tonight, and they had Sunseeker beer from one of my favorite breweries and the owner found a few others for me to purchase and she offered me one of their Oktoberfest beers to sample. Cydnie Z. is just a very kind and appreciative owner and you should come here to try their excellent food and see their courteous service firsthand. My husband recently discovered Oak Eatery and had been raving about it for weeks! I ended up going there with him, a friend, and our baby this past weekend, and was so happy that it lived up to the hype! My husband ordered the Medina Sandwich and I got the French Dip with Sweet Potato fries. Both were fantastic! They have a very cute outdoor area in addition to their indoor seating. The owner is fantastic and does a great job interacting with customers! They also have a baby changing station in the women's restroom (which is a very clean single bathroom) and my husband was told he could use it anytime to change our son. Very cute restaurant! It is very open inside with seating inside and outside. The staff was very nice and accommodating. They have a lot of goodies like cinnamon rolls and Honey & Mackie's ice cream! I ordered the French dip which was amazing. The crunchy onions added a sweetness to it. It was a great size aswell, I ended up only eating half and taking the rest home. My friend got the fish tacos that looked and smelled AMAZING! l'm not a fish person but I would've eaten that. The patio area was small but decent sized with a fountain trying to mask some of the street noise. All the tables had umbrellas which kept it nice and cool. First time visit. Ordered 2 chicken ceasar salads and 2 wild rice soups. The staff seemed courteous and professional enough. Though one of the cashiers was confused that I had already paid for my ticket and was just waiting for my take out order. Brought it home, opened up, and the ceasar dressing was in a tiny little clear, plastic cup which was nowhere near enough to or appropriate for the quantity of lettuce in the trays. 80% of the salads was completely dry. For a "pricey" salad it was ridiculous. Will never go there again. read more

I tried this place once with my family and it was pretty good! It's a quick place to grab a bit to eat! I think it's a bit drafty and not the coziest restaurant. But, I still enjoyed the food. Stopped here a couple years ago and it was just okay. Happened to be in Plymouth, MN and decided to stop by again. So glad I did! I had the soup of the day--split pea with ham. Delicious! Creamy and perfectly seasoned. I accompanied it with a side salad. Perfect size. My sister had the beef vegetable soup and the broth was wonderful! Beefy and rich and well seasoned.
