Great little spot. I had the chicken fingers and they were really good. Fries were decent. They do have traditional table service and our server was nice. Inside is very casual and relaxed. Lots of parking.

Stopped in while in the area. A simple place with surprisingly good food! The staff was friendly and the food came quickly. The restaurant was really clean and well maintained. We will definitely make our way back for a lunch in the future.

Another week another work lunch as I'm slowly connecting back in person with my team the past few weeks. We frequent here quite a bit at my work and if you haven't heard of it or been, you should! It's the cutest cafe style restaurant with a menu for everyone. This summer my go to has been the Pineapple Mango Salad with Salmon! They feature indoor and outdoor seating with a cute patio located by a small fountain pond. They offer beer and wine as well too for a little happy hour style meal.

Simply blown away by this place. I have heard rave reviews from friends in the area and had to check it out for myself. Oak Eatery, in Hamel, is located at the west end of a small business strip with clear visibility from HWY 55 and extremely easy to get to. The dining area is relatively small with about 10 tables but feels huge boasting tall ceilings and floor to ceiling windows on the north and west sides. On to the food. I literally could have ordered every item on the menu as they all had mouth watering descriptions. We decided to start with a spinach and artichoke dip served with fresh made bread made with their pizza dough and then seasoned. The dip was fine, exactly what you could expect from artichoke dip BUT THE BREAD! OMG. I would have been happy with a plate of that! It was soft and flakey and perfectly seasoned. I wasn't planning on soup but they had chili as a special for day so I could resist. If this chili is available ITS A MUST. I like my chili with a little more heat but given the area I get it. It was extremely flavorful though and had huge chunks of meat. For my course I went with their The Medina Sandwich. "Seasoned steak, sauteed onions, american and swiss-american cheeses served on grilled sourdough bread" The meat with cooked to perfection and melted in my mouth. They served it with a side of Aj Jus which I thought was odd but it was delicious. The sandwich reminded me of a French Dip which they also have on their menu. I will probably get that next time I go. I also have pictures my girlfriends sandwich, The Rachel. Another huge sandwich that came piled high with juicy turkey, sauerkraut and Swiss cheese on grilled marble rye. I do feel it could have had a little more 1000 island. This place was GREAT. It is a must stop!

In Idaho, nachos look a bit different. But they got cheese and bacon, so we don't judge the spuds. Share it with the table next to ya and you'll probably become best buds ;) Check out the dining at this fine little place in Medina: Idaho Nachos -- Crispy waffle fries topped with cheddar cheese, bacon and green onion served with seasoned sour cream French Dip -- Thinly-shaved tender beef piled high with melted provolone, crispy onions and their famous whiskey sauce, all on a ciabatta bun, with au jus for dipping From Oak Eatery right down the hill from Hamel No lies, we were appetized by these fries. The waffle variety can sometimes be soggy, bogging down an otherwise awesome app. But not so for Oak; golden brown and can't-believe-it's-so-good crispy, the bacon/cheese mix on these was wondrous. And I'm definitely on team seasoned sour cream. And without further ado, the vessel for the au jus. Terrifically tender beef and gooey provolone with crispy sweet onions on ciabatta... you just gotta go for it. The house special sauce was sensational as well I think you'll jive with this place off Highway 55! The dishes are dually down-to-earth and divine, not to mention the prices that are very fair in the midst of inflation! Oak is no joke--its worth it to stop by soon! Thanks to Pastor Jackson for a fantastic and filling dinner!

Our food was delicious and the service was great! I think the only reason I may not recommend was the atmosphere felt really bare and cold. At first walking in it looked like a place where you order at the counter and leave or quick grab a table, like a fast food/to go situation... not welcoming as if it was a sit down restaurant. I think the atmosphere is part of the experience and it just didn't feel like a cozy spot. I think it has a ton of potential if it felt more welcoming! Other than that we enjoyed the meal!

The food here is really amazing! You can't go wrong with a sandwich, burger, flat bread or salad. The calzone look good, but I still need to order my own. I've only had a taste of friends'. This is the perfect time to go with the patio open! It's counter order and they bring it to your table. They have breakfast lunch, and dinner. They even have beer and wine! There's not a ton of seating so I usually get mine to go. But I've enjoyed eating in too. The servers are very friendly and helpful. If you're ever in the Western burbs come try them for lunch.

Oak Eatery is my favorite place to go to. My husband and I try and go somewhere new in the Twin Cities every couple weeks, but our tried and true is Oak. They have amazing breakfast but their lunch and dinners are also amazing. Great prices too! They do have wine and beer available as well so this is a one stop shop. I would recommend to anyone! read more

Family owned and the service is great. The food does not come "fast" but the food is good. It's a small, hole in the wall place but it's nice to go for a quick dinner. Last summer we sat outside and a little fox entertained us...always support local. read more

A fantastic casual eatery tucked away in a small shopping center Oak Eatery brings its' A game to providing amazing causal food and a family friendly place. I visited with two kids in row who had only amazing things to say about what is normally a basic kids menu option-hamburgers. The burgers were cooked to perfection, the fries were perfectly seasoned, and they can't wait to come back. The highlight was definitely the bun-lightly toasted and perfect according to the kids. I had a turkey BLT on gluten free bread that was divine. The bacon was crispy on the edges and flavorful. The turkey was fresh. The lettuce and tomato were okay, but they were outshined by everything else. We'll definitely be back. This is a great place for the whole family and includes lots of options for coffee, beer, and wine, too. The gluten free options are plentiful, too. read more

The first thing I noticed was how spotless the dining and behind the counter areas were. We went for dinner at 6:30 PM on a Friday, and although it was busy it was still spotless. The food was outstanding! I had a French dip sandwich with crispy, fried onions piled on top of a lot of roast beef. My wife and daughter shared a margarita pizza and an Oriental Chicken salad. I couldn't find a single thing wrong with any of the food. The best part was that it was reasonably priced. Great job Oak Eatery read more

I ordered take out from here for the first time last week. When I got home I realized my order was totally messed up. When I called the restaurant to explain what happened they handled it with pure class! Accidents happen and people make mistakes, but how you deal with it makes all the difference. I have been a big fan of Oak Eatery for a few years. They are handling Covid the best they can. They are doing a full menu and we do takeout with them quite a bit. They also have the patio open as well. The owner is extremely kind and very appreciative of your patronage as is their entire team. Their kindness adds to the great food they serve. I was there tonight, and they had Sunseeker beer from one of my favorite breweries and the owner found a few others for me to purchase and she offered me one of their Oktoberfest beers to sample. Cydnie Z. is just a very kind and appreciative owner and you should come here to try their excellent food and see their courteous service firsthand. We had a Calzone, Homestead wrap and pepperoni rolls on this visit and all were excellent. read more

My husband recently discovered Oak Eatery and had been raving about it for weeks! I ended up going there with him, a friend, and our baby this past weekend, and was so happy that it lived up to the hype! My husband ordered the Medina Sandwich and I got the French Dip with Sweet Potato fries. Both were fantastic! They have a very cute outdoor area in addition to their indoor seating. The owner is fantastic and does a great job interacting with customers! They also have a baby changing station in the women's restroom (which is a very clean single bathroom) and my husband was told he could use it anytime to change our son. I would highly recommend checking this place out! read more

Very cute restaurant! It is very open inside with seating inside and outside. The staff was very nice and accommodating. They have a lot of goodies like cinnamon rolls and Honey & Mackie's ice cream! I ordered the French dip which was amazing. The crunchy onions added a sweetness to it. It was a great size aswell, I ended up only eating half and taking the rest home. My friend got the fish tacos that looked and smelled AMAZING! l'm not a fish person but I would've eaten that. The patio area was small but decent sized with a fountain trying to mask some of the street noise. All the tables had umbrellas which kept it nice and cool. Overall I loved it and will be back for coffee and their short stack! read more

First time visit. Ordered 2 chicken ceasar salads and 2 wild rice soups. The staff seemed courteous and professional enough. Though one of the cashiers was confused that I had already paid for my ticket and was just waiting for my take out order. Brought it home, opened up, and the ceasar dressing was in a tiny little clear, plastic cup which was nowhere near enough to or appropriate for the quantity of lettuce in the trays. 80% of the salads was completely dry. For a "pricey" salad it was ridiculous. Will never go there again. read more

Love this place! I go here all the time with friends. It's the perfect mix of healthy and delicious food. I always recommend getting a California Burger with a house salad. Stopped here a couple years ago and it was just okay. Happened to be in Plymouth, MN and decided to stop by again. So glad I did! I had the soup of the day--split pea with ham. Delicious! Creamy and perfectly seasoned. I accompanied it with a side salad. Perfect size. My sister had the beef vegetable soup and the broth was wonderful! Beefy and rich and well seasoned. I somehow showed up wearing green without even planning it, so I accidentally matched the vibe which made it even better. The atmosphere overall feels clean, modern, and relaxed without being over the top. It works really well for a casual lunch or a low-key date where you still want something a little nicer. We tried a few different things, and everything was well done. The burger was juicy with a good melt on the cheese and a soft bun that held together nicely. Simple, but done right. The side salad was fresh and actually had flavor instead of just being there. The meatballs were a standout--really tender and covered in a rich, creamy sauce that made the dish feel more elevated. The mussels were also great, and the broth was flavorful enough that dipping the grilled bread in it was a must. Nothing felt like a miss, and everything had a little extra attention to detail. Also our server was very nice and kind I liked her. Overall, I'd come back. It's not super fancy, but it feels like a step up from your usual spots and is a great option if you want something cute, relaxed, and still really solid.

I had Oak Eatery cater a sales training. I like to try new places (especially local) for the group but I was worried since I had not had the food myself. There was no need to worry because the food was a hit! They don't have a catering menu yet so Dawn let me chose whatever I wanted. I got 3 types of wraps from the menu as well as potato salad and Italian pasta salad that were not on the menu. I also asked her to make little signs with the ingredients for each food choice as I was serving people with food allergies and some of he wrap combos were unique. She gladly made the signs for no extra charge. The lunch was on time and the perfect temperature. Everyone really enjoyed the food and many asked where it was from.
