Dinner Tuesday night with Shari at "Oak & Stone". Shari ordered Ice Tea with Garlicky Spinach Dip & Chips w a White Pizza and I ordered a Ice Water w Lemon & Lime *where I added my Margaritaville Margarita Flavor Enhanced Packet and Pretzel Crusted Tuna Shashimi. The food was very good! We sat outside on the patio and had a very nice dinner. The waitress was extremely friendly and attentive. Highly recommend and the food was amazing! Be sure to join their point system!

Amber was fantastic and so welcoming to our group. She was incredibly knowledgeable about the gluten-free options available, which we really appreciated. The outdoor patio was pleasant and fun, making for a great atmosphere. We ordered the Sweet Heat pizza--amazing flavor and easily one of the best gluten-free crusts I've had. Excited to come back!!

Pizza with pepperoni, well done out standing pie, have to say they are very consistent with its pizza pies. Pepperoni cooked perfectly and has a slight kick to it.

Women of Charlotte Cty Girlfriends dine yesterday at OAK & STONE in Wellen Park Wednesday, Oct. 29th! Truly, a wonderful place for lunch or dinner. Our 40 plus ladies enjoyed lunch on the second floor patio with a beautiful consistent cool sunny breeze. The view overlooking the lake was also pleasing. Our servers are Erica and Steve, and they were right on with your beverage of choices from the minute you chose your seat. Once everyone arrived they were immediately conversations began. Whether you are a new comer or a frequent girlfriend who enjoys the festivities, everyone is greeted with a warm welcome. These gatherings are the highlight of my week, and as I am told also by our ladies. Some order O&S fresh garden or caesar salads, calamari (which was a little overdone), pretzel bites, Philly Steak Egg Rolls, and other apps. The variety of O&S's wall of brewery of beers was a treat of those who enjoyed the varieties! Entrees hits were O&S PIZZA's yummy. There were quite a variety of handhelds with delicious thick French fries, so many choices! It was a treat salivating over what would suit and fulfill your desire of lunch. GIRLFRIENDS, feel free to give your experience of likes of your choice of O&S delicious dishes and their service.

We scooted over the oak and stone in the up and coming wellen park downtown neighborhood during a chilly gulf coast cold front. The restaurant boasts indoor and outdoor seating, and believe it or not, has outdoor heaters despite it being *florida* Our group split a bunch of appetizers, including wings, Brussels sprouts, Mac n cheese, and artichoke dip. All of the food was hot and delicious, very classic elevated bar food. As a beer lover, their serve yourself beer wall was awesome to try samplers of a variety of local brews. Unlike a lot of other similar beer spots, the variety of sours, ciders, porters, ipas, and lagers was refreshing, and offered something for everyone in our party. Parking is easy in the shopping area, and the restaurant is big so our wait for 4 people was only about 15 min around 6pm on a Thursday night.

I was pleasantly surprised with this restaurant! I came here with some friends to look at a nearby wedding venue, and we ended up stopping in here because we were hungry. I ordered the voodoo chicken sandwich after seeing it on someone else's plate and it looked so good. Thankfully, the sandwich was just as good as it looked. It's a big crispy piece of fried chicken with melted cheese, lettuce, voodoo, chips, ranch and tomatoes. I opted out of the ranch and tomatoes, because that's not my jam, and thoroughly enjoyed my sandwich. The fries were so good and the perfect compliment.

Service was on point but the quality of the pizza this time was awful. We come here often but this time we were disappointed with the quality of our food. The server did nothing about it.

Oak & Stone exceeded all of our expectations! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the service was fantastic. We started with the garlicky spinach dip, and it was absolutely delicious--creamy, flavorful, and served with the perfect dippers. For our mains, we tried the **Sweet Heat Pizza**, **White Pizza**, and the **Voodoo Chicken Sandwich**. Every bite was incredible! The Sweet Heat was way spicier than I expected. Not much sweet, all heat. The White Pizza was rich and cheesy, and the Voodoo Chicken Sandwich had just the right amount of kick. On top of that, the self-serve beer wall was such a fun experience with plenty of great options to try. Overall, everything from the food to the service was spot-on. Can't wait to come back and try more from the menu!

What an awesome NFL Sunday brunch spot! Omg reminds us of our favorite places back in the OC - but really, better. For the time being, I'm eating everything so I ate some of all these dishes Ahi tuna appetizer - sweet! 4 * Philly egg rolls - 4.5 * - mostly meat! Strawberry Belgian waffle - 5* (if you're in the mood) Sausage + meatball pizza - 5* Pour Your Own beer - 5* What takes this local chain/theme restaurant above its similar competitors is not just its customer-friendly, people pleasing concept, it's the genuine professional ability and knowledge of staff + good service and ethics. We've been visiting different places around + this is for sure the go-to spot in Wellen Park. Compares very favorably to spots in So. OC + North San Diego County. Beats Yard House A$$! They give you a bracelet that you tap on the bar above the taps & can sample over 50 brews! Avg price .55/oz mostly craft, super cool beers. Thank you Jantzen + Amber!

I'd give 3 stars to food and 4 stars to service and overall good vibes! The food was good,…read morehonestly nothing wrong with it, just nothing special at all. I did love having walleye though - its not every day you run across that on menus down here in Florida. It was grilled really nice and the side of zucchini and yellow squash was nice too. The cilantro rice was meh; I think something more unique would have gone a long way with this dish. My friend and I sat outside and I loved the outdoor area and being by the water. Our table felt 'cozy' with the little tiki hut roof over it, and our server was on top of things. We hung out for a long time and we were not rushed out or anything. I'd probably come back and try something else on the menu, and it would be a good spot to bring visitors because of its good FL vibes.

Miserable hostess this weekend asked outright if we wouldn't mind sitting at a low table for…read moreoutdoor dining. However, we then noticed that there were plenty of tiki tables that would have been available for us and that every subsequent customer that was seated she escorted to those available tiki tables. It was only after filling those tiki tables that she started seating people in the low tables in our area. Peculiar to say the least. The nachos were stale. Drinks were good. That's about it. We are local. We're spending our money elsewhere. We will not be back.

This was a recommendation from our hotel as a pet friendly spot. I went 2 days in a row…read more Day 1- Great. 2 piece fish and chips with beans and mac - cheese. The server was great , I tried to get one blackened and one fried, that was a no, he did ask. The fish was very good and the batter didn't overpower the flavor of the cod. I was also impressed with the green beans , amazing flavor combo. The mac - cheese was also better than most places with a creamy texture and smooth cheesy flavor. Day 2 - I came back for the Guinness Stew, I was alone night one with the Aussies and it was represented as a large portion. Small Brussel Sprout appetizer was a good start. Sriracha BBQ Meatballs were amazing hit. Very flavorful and I will make these at home The Brie was a miss. Not much Brie lots of sweetness, minimal chips and a price tag that made it very much not worth it. The Guinness Stew was lackluster. A small sourdough round with some stew in it. It was missing that rich Guinness flavor and thick broth I love and salt didn't fix missing layors I was excited to taste. The price made this dish a huge miss. We talked about that the rest of the night. 2 Prime Rib dinners medium rare were tender, not very well seasoned, sometimes its good to leave the meat the star, we had AuJus and Horseradish for added flavor. More mac - cheese , not very warm, but good nonetheless. Peas and carrots, were okay. The busser spilled the Aujus on my boyfriend's lap cleaning up the dishes, no one said anything, I'll get that stain out. They were out of Apple Cobbler, sad face there. They did take it off of our bill and rerun the card. The manager came out to explain the way that works, pending charges and all, that was a plus. The warm chocolate cake we also ordered was rich and moist, it had some whip cream with it, next time we would add ice cream if ordered again. Not sure I would go back here, our bill was $167 dollars plus tip ( Our waiter was solid) = $207
