Charlotte County Girlfriends Take on Oak & Stone of Wellen Park!…read more Today, Wednesday, October 7, 2026, over 30 of our Charlotte County Girlfriends (CCGF) gathered at the wonderful Oak & Stone of Wellen Park for another delightful afternoon of friendship, fabulous food, and exceptional service! Arriving at noon, our girlfriends were warmly welcomed by Dan, our server, who went above and beyond to ensure everyone was well taken care of. From delicious cocktails and tempting appetizers to an impressive variety of entrées, there was something to satisfy every appetite! Our ladies enjoyed an assortment of delicious pizzas, topped with everything from fresh arugula and spinach to sausage and a variety of other mouthwatering combinations. Others opted for fresh, flavorful salads topped with chicken or salmon, while the wings special was a definite hit, cooked to perfection and prepared with each guest's preferred flavor and style. The handhelds and sandwiches were equally impressive! From fresh, moist turkey sandwiches piled high with bacon, lettuce, and tomatoes to a delicious Reuben served on marble rye, our girlfriends certainly had plenty of tempting choices. The verdict? Happy girlfriends, satisfied appetites, and plenty of reasons to come back! Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals, and Dan's attentive, outstanding service made our experience even more memorable. Oak & Stone of Wellen Park is certainly no stranger to CCGF. This was not our first visit, and it certainly won't be our last! We continue to appreciate the inviting ambiance, wonderful atmosphere, delicious food, and welcoming hospitality that make this establishment such a pleasure to visit. A BIG thank-you to Dan and the Oak & Stone team for taking such wonderful care of our Charlotte County Girlfriends. We look forward to returning for another fabulous lunch! Great food, great service, and even greater girlfriends! That's how we do it, CCGF style!

We ordered a med pizza-sausage and extra cheese, and an order of wings (10) not sauced, sauce on the side. Our server was great! Very enthusiastic about the food options and very attentive. The pizza was amazing! The wings are breaded, I'm not sure it said that on the menu. I was surprised but def not disappointed, they were very good! The only sauce I can recommend is the teriyaki and the ranch, not a fan of the buffalo mild. It's a sports bar with lots of TVs, and it seems like lots of regulars at the bar. A bit dark for me but I would def return.
