We came here on a rainy night and received wonderful service from the moment we stepped foot inside. The drinks are to die for and especially well crafted. The ambiance is there for sure, with dim lighting and comfortable seating. Erica is a wonderful drink master and very enjoyable to converse with.

I came here again for the first time in years and it definitely didn't disappoint! We got here around 8:45 on a Thursday and they closed at 10 so last call was 9:30. It has very cozy, intimate vibes now that there are high top tables in addition to the bar. There are a lot more drinks on the menu than they used to have, but I still had to go for the go-to: the Smokey Edward! For my second cocktail, I got the Smokey Edward with browned butter infused bourbon and OMG, amazing. Our server (who's name I wish I remember now but she has green hair and was amazing!!) told us how to make our own at home too. I am going to have to try it out, and also try out more cocktails here! Still a great staple ever since it came to TO.

I recently visited for happy hour and had a great time! The cocktails were delicious and reasonably priced. The atmosphere was really sophisticated and inviting. Our server mentioned that there's a speakeasy downstairs, which I was curious to check out (I didn't). There's a Mexican place a couple doors down, which I think they partner with. If you're in the area worth checking out.

Oak & Iron makes the best cocktails and has an incredible selection of spirits. The upstairs cocktail bar is the perfect date night spot to grab a pre- or post-dinner drink or two. I love their whiskey sours. The whiskey sours are creamy, citrusy, and fresh. They use real egg whites and premium whiskey, served shaken in a coupe glass with no ice. The downstairs bar has a speakeasy vibe with a ton of rare bottles. I've never had the privilege of sitting downstairs, but one of these days I'll make my way down there for a Pappy Van Winkle or some other rare pour. The service is always fantastic, and the people are friendly and creative. This place isn't cheap, but you definitely get what you pay for.

Patrick & Sefton were great bar tenders. Very personable & very welcoming. The speakeasy vibe definitely made the experience one for the books.

The few places in town that have kept their cocktail prices under $20! They have excellent cocktails here and they rotate their menu which is nice. They also have wine and beer. They have woodfire pizzas on the menu, but also allow you to bring outside food. We typically order from Bad Ass Tacos next door. The place is intimate with upper and lower bar. Small parking lot in the back and a few options on the street in front. It's a great place for a date night and meeting friends for drinks.

Left side of the bar with all sorts of options to enjoy.

Ordered a custom flight of 3 glasses. Price was more than fair and the service was excellent. The bartender and servers were all extremely friendly and helpful. Being my first time here they were willing to answer all my questions with a smile. Definitely will be back with some friends to enjoy another bourbon flight.

Absolutely outstanding experience here. Bartenders are knowledgeable and experts at what they do! Drinks are amazing. There was no food although I hear sometimes they do wood-fire pizza on certain days. The atmosphere is perfect, they have a speakeasy although we didn't get a chance to check it out, we'll be back

The vibe in this bar is exquisite. It's small but the bartenders are friendly and willing to offer suggestions. They have a speakeasy/wine bar downstairs. We tried two off the menu drinks that were incredible. The bartenders were accommodating to my allergies and made the drinks perfect! Make sure you try the all too well and the lavender haze.

After dinner we didn't want to go home so we stopped at Oak and Iron to grab some cocktails. Place was full, the music was good and the bartenders were nice. Definitely going to come back.

I was hit with valet parking ($7 charge) as soon as I arrived so I was a little worried it might be a little snooty but the vibe was super casual once we were inside. After parking we made our way into the ordering area which has both a food ordering section and bar section. The menu is fairly basic but there are options for just about everyone from salads and paninis to pizzas. I got a pepperoni pizza and a red sangria while my husband got a chicken Caesar salad. The salad was pretty typical, nothing standout about it. But the pizza was actually pretty good. It has a very thin, cracker-like crust and decent flavors. After ordering at the counter, you take the buzzer and go grab a table in one of their many seating areas. I first stopped by the bar area to grab my sangria though. Even for a busy Easter Sunday, there was more than enough seating for all the people there. Take my advice and do a lap so you know where to sit before committing to a spot. We sat right up front where everyone else was. But after eating , I took my sangria and went on a stroll through the little vineyard and other seating areas there. You truly feel like you stepped into Disneyland or Italy when you are there. It's this beautiful little working vineyard in the middle of Westlake Village. Prices were a little steep for the food quality but the ambiance was totally worth it. They even had a live jazz trio playing which added to the vibe. There were tons of families having lunch there and I think that on a normal weekend this place is probably a great spot to come with a group of friends for a little day drinking and wine tasting.

Waited in line to order at 10.40am, how about some pizza which is clearly written as a lunch menu that begins at 11:00 a.m.? Waited in line to order wasting 20 minutes only for the cashier to say that pizza will not be served for another hour and that the pit is closed. Then why the fuck do you put it on your lunch menu and state that lunch begins at 11:00 a.m.? You cannot order any lunch items before 11:00. You cannot order any breakfast items after 11:00. I was there at 10:40 and they wouldn't even put it in or grant my request of simply starting a lunch order at 11:00 as long as I get the order in and pay so I don't have to wait in line again all over. Easy one (actually not even one just left) and done after the cashier seems to enjoy my suffering on Mother's Day with a group of people looking at me as I expressed my frustration that I could not order what I wanted when I wanted even if it was on time or not. Pathetic as can be. Left immediately after was told I can't order pizza at 11:00 when lunch starts. Good luck.

We ended up buying a bottle of wine at dinner instead and I'm pretty sure that was the economical choice plus it gave me peace of mind. I will say - the plating of the food is strange. Giant plates for small portions never really sits well with me. The kitchen's "thinly sliced" waygu steak was also off putting visually. The Jumbo Scallops w/Leek & Truffle Risotto ($46) is a must order. Scallops perfectly pan seared and that risotto I would eat by itself. The Lemon Chardonnay sauce was incredible. The Slow Braised Beef Short Ribs ($39) was okay. The meat fell apart as it should. The red wine sauce was okay but lacked depth. The creamy mashed potatoes were very good and seasoned perfectly. Wasn't mad that I tried it but would not order again. Wagyu Top Sirloin 12 oz. ($48) was very good despite the poor slicing. The creamy mushroom sauce was perfect to add some flavor but not overpower the protein. The Pepperoni Pizza ($18) was decent for my son. My daughter planned to order the Seafood Pasta until she saw all of her favorite things combined: Mac and cheese, bacon and pizza - the Mac and Cheese Pizza ($21) was honestly top notch. It wasn't overly heavy, the depth of flavor was great and it's extremely tasty. The spicy aioli was top notch. Overall, a good experience at the Cave. I recommend giving it a try.
