Another friend's ribeye looked a bit overdone to me, but he seemed to like it. I wish the souvenir store was still open when we were there (it closed at 6pm) because I would have liked to bring home a trinket or shirt. Maybe upon next visit - because I will definitely eat here again the next time I'm in Bardstown. Make it a priority to stop in!

I've had their lobster bisque a few times and don't underrate it - it's delicious! As for their famous burger challenge, the Fry-Way-to-Hell Burger is huge and covered in jalapeños, grilled onions, and multiple charred meaty patties. If you eat it and a basket of fries in 15 minutes, you win a t-shirt and bar infamy. Good luck There's karaoke, lots of pool tables, and a chill vibe that makes this place cozy. I'll only subtract one star due to the long food wait times, as I've been a few times where it takes ~1 hour to get food. However they work as fast as possible and just have a lot of heads to feed. Maybe it's a Kentucky thing, but several locals talked to us right away making us feel welcomed. Husband says the bartender was very friendly and made a "damn fine Manhattan". The environment was friendly, the bathrooms were clean and the drinks were cold. To our delight, live music started. Ryan Raikes took the small stage and we were blown away. Friendly and very talented, he played many of our favorites. The sound was not overwhelming for the space. When leaving we felt like were leaving old friends and will be back for another visit!
