This place is bourbon heaven. We stayed in Bardstown for my 50th birthday. I did a ton of research on Evergreen Liquor's but actually being there was so much better. They had unicorn bourbons and bourbons I can't find in South Jersey. Some I can get but I'm not paying 200% secondary prices. Our bartender Crystal was extremely knowledgeable and picked a few of my pours and I was blown away. We met so many good people that came to drink pours too. This place made my birthday something I'll never forget. I picked up a couple store picks as well as allocated bottles i can't get near me. Thank the Bourbon Gods they have this place for like minded people. We will be back. read more

Great spot for hard to find single bourbon pours. Staff is fun and interactive. The liquor store has multiple store picks of bourbon and tons of other selections. It's a bourbon lovers play land. Prices are a little higher then other places so do a research before hand so you have a little knowledge before purchasing. Protip: Wednesday is half price pours! Well worth it at those prices. Order: Weller Single Barrel (orange label) Never tried it. It was the only pour i needed to try to complete the Weller Rainbow. It was delicious. My First time in was this winter, knew they were known for a good selection in bottle shop and great range of whiskey at tasting bar. Efficient tasting space, service, and of course I was lucky to be there for half-priced pour night. Lively turnout in late afternoon and early evening for that time slot. Lots of store barrel-picks. Fantastic range at tasting bar and while not cheap for less-common/rare offerings the pricing was reasonable and very fair during the half-priced day. If you like to try more than just flagship or everyday products from distilleries then do stop in to evergreen. read more

I was there with my travelling friend and was told by a bartender to check out Evergreen and what a gem it was - we were there 3 different times and totally enjoyed ourselves - the bartenders, the people - just so much fun. Nope, sorry, don't waste your time here unless you're 100% sure of what you want, cause God forbid you try to get your cousin Kimmie what she said she wanted and it turns out to be not exactly what she said she wanted and you try exchange PER THE INSTRUCTIONS ON THE RECEIPT, and they have to "call the manager and he says no" just please go to a real store and avoid this sorry excuse of a place. read more

You're in Bardstown,KY - bourbon capital of the US. You want to buy some bourbon so you walk down the main drag and see this massive wall of bourbon through the window. How can you not go in??? You approach the wall and it's like nothing you've seen before. Endless. A masterpiece that mesmerizes you for several minutes before you awaken from what you thought was just a fantasy but then realize, this is for real. Time to get down to business! You're approached by the cashier in a friendly way asking if you had any questions. We started talking bourbon stuff - if you know, you know. I don't come unarmed to any discussion of bourbon- might say even that I'm well equipped. But I felt inadequate facing an overwhelming selection most of which I've never seen or heard of before. One thing led to another, our discussion progressed to recommendations which led to purchases which resulted in a very happy customer. This guy was amazing!! 100 would recommend it was my first time Bourbon tasting in Bardstown and this place is the best let's you try at a reasonable price all the good stuff all your Buffalo Trace stuff. The lovely girl behind the bar was festive dressed for Halloween she made my experience in Bardstown definitely one to remember. Again 100% couldn't recommend this more you'll love it read more
