Wanted to upgrade my axolotl's tank and get a better quality filter. Stopped by pet depot after…read morework and was helped by Carina. She was very friendly and helpful, told her what the tank was for and what I was kinda looking for and she showed me some options. She then took me to her computer and showed me the dimensions of the tank I was looking at( just to make sure it'll fit on my stand at home) I called them back when I measured it and she told me she would have her boss call me and send me an invoice for the tank. Fast forward bought the tank and told them I'd pick it up the next day after work. Come that day to pick up my tank Ryan (the manager) helped me. I told him I wanted a good quality filter so I wouldn't have to really maintain it all the time. He was veryyyyy helpful and knowledge!! He gave me a few options of the filters, the best ones and the ones that he wouldn't recommend for my fish.He also gave me pointers on how to keep my axolotl cold. (They can only be in cold water) bought the filter (oase filtosmart thermo 200) he recommended and Ryan actually showed us how it works and how to set it up. $500 later, we had the whole set up. Even though it was pricy, I rather pay for the good quality things cuz who wants to keep wasting money on cheap/ meh quality. We tried setting it up when we got home and for some reason the water wasn't going through the tubes. I called pet depot and George offered to FaceTime us to see where we were wrong and walk us through the steps. 15 minutes later the filter worked and my axolotl couldn't be any happier! I truly want to thank all these people for their TRUE Customer service. I honestly haven't been this blown away with this kind of customer service in a really looong time. They went FAR and BEYOND just for us. They gave us their honest opinion and went that extra mile face timing us!! I still can't believe it! Thank youuu soooooo much for alllll the help!! Luckily Davianne just had a litter of shipoos which is perfect because I wanted a mix breed. Davianne was very understanding with our situation and helping us find the puppy that matched us. We had to wait about 3 weeks since the puppies were only 4 1/2 weeks old but she would answer any questions and let us visit while we had to wait. Thanks Davianne for Lana. A couple years ago, my twin daughters requested a dog. Although reluctant to entertain the…read moreprospect of welcoming a furry family member, we tasked the girls with finding a breed/breeds that fulfilled our list of "requirements" for type, temperament, size and intelligence. Surprisingly, our girls were resourceful and ambitious in their search, and after a relatively short time they came to us with a breed that "checked all the boxes" (my daughter's words): a Labradoodle. The search then began for where to get one (preferably a puppy). And with the regulations for pets in Hawaii, the hurdles were challenging to say the least. We looked on the mainland, Australia and on island. Although there are numerous breeders on the mainland and Australia, we also wanted a breeder that was familiar with the regulations in Hawaii and that would be willing and able to assist with bringing a pup here. We found Live Aloha Labradoodles (on island) on Facebook after doing quite a few online searches. I reached out to get more information, and requested that we set up a meeting with Veronica. We headed to Ewa, and my girls were instantly in LOVE with Veronica's labradoodles living in her home. I could see in their eyes that a new sibling was in the future. After a family discussion, we provided a deposit to be placed on the waiting list for a labradoodle pup. One should know that this IS NOT a cheap undertaking, and should not be taken lightly. We are finding out on a daily basis that a baby on four legs can be just as challenging as a human baby except they can walk, eat and generally keep themselves entertained. Wish my daughters were as independent as our newest little one. Veronica was patient with the numerous questions and requests for advise, and kept us informed every step of the process with weekly updates. Live Aloha Labradoodles specializes in Labradoodles ONLY, and they take great pride with selection of the mom and dad of the litters, and with the number of litters birthed during the year. They both have very thick coats, and needed a lot of love on their fur. They have completely made my dogs look so fresh and clean, from a bunch of knots and tangles, to the softest, most pawfect coats. I can tell my doggies feel more comfortable and were so happy when they were home. It was so cute how they even were goofy with putting wigs on my dogs at the end. So cute and I appreciate how understanding they were on the help I needed.
