I can't eat the berry because of an allergy, and we've had the peach before and didn't care for it, so we tried the banana caramel crunch instead. Service was slower than usual. There's a help-wanted sign when you walk in and it looked like a new employee was being trained, so that part was understandable. What wasn't understandable was when the food showed up. The portion has been cut in half.What used to be two stuffed French toast pieces per order is now only one, but the price is the same. My wife and I have both had weight-loss surgery, so we're definitely not people who need massive portions. But cutting the plate by 50% while charging the same price just feels like a bad move. Even though we split meals we made it up by tipping are wait staff, the difference as if we would have ordered two meals, Removing a customer favorite and shrinking portions at the same time is a good way to lose longtime customers. The scone and the egg were probably the only decent things in the entire meal but neither one stood out above average. Overall I would not recommend this place very highly nor do I plan on returning. After eating here I'm thinking breakfast will be off limits for quite a while due to the unappetizing taste leftover in my mouth.
