I was recently lucky enough to have Siri touch up birds she's done for me years ago. They weathered extremely well (blue and black line work only) but she still found a way to make them even better! Mind blowing. Take a tattoo I was 100% happy with, and then make it like 150%. She is an amazing artist, and will take the time to talk you through and think about your tattoo. Siri at O tattoo was awesome! The studio is comfortable, beautiful, and professional, with plenty of free residential parking nearby in a great location in Temescal. Added bonus- the studio has a very cute snake and soon, fish tanks! I came to Siri hoping to get a very complicated piece of artwork done based on a Da Vinci reference and she made it happen and was up to the challenge. She talked me through size and placement to make sure I would get the best tattoo and that it would look good for years to come, and was easy to work with. During the tattoo, she kindly offered water and breaks throughout the process.They even brought over a space heater when I was cold! Booking is super easy over the request form and email- just be sure to make an appointment as they don't do walk ins, which is actually a huge bonus because it means that your time in the studio feels safe and personal. I would definitely come back to Siri or others at O for another tattoo in the future, as I am pretty picky about finding a good environment and set of people to trust to do my tattoos. read more

Well. . . . .all I can really say, is that. . . .SHE'S AMAZING!! I am in the middle of a larger tattoo piece and have been working on it from the start with Siri. All throughout she made me feel really comfortable, and for the most part the tattoo itself was a lot less painful from what I expected. I've also known a few others who have recieved tattoos from her and they have all commented on how light handed she is- so normally painful spots on the body become a lot more bearable to get inked. The line work on my tattoo is superb, and all the artwork that she has drawn based on my loose description of what I wanted has come out perfect. I'm definitely planning on getting more done by her once the piece that we're currently working on is finished! I heart Siri! read more

She is able to reach inside your mind and pull forth the very best of your vision for your own ink, then she takes it a few steps ahead along the path of beauty without making you feel like your idea was boring. She has a gentle, firm touch that makes the tattoo process feel as comfortable as possible. Her eye for placement is keen and wise, and she knows what is being asked of her- you're never going to walk away from Siri's table with disappointment in your vision. If you have to have something covered or "upcycled", Siri has a GREAT sense of how to do it and make it its whole own tattoo rather than the compromise of an obvious cover. If you have a bunch of assorted thoughts but no specific vision, give her everything. I printed out fonts, bees, and antique wallpaper designs to show her when we planned my Queen Bee tattoo, and she nailed it perfectly. Personally, I have only visited her at her private studio, and was really pleased with the experience. She's got a fan in me! Oh my, it's been a year since Siri finished my "Daijers" piece! I first chose Black & Blue because my sister got done there by Mika (spelling?) but I chose Siri in particular because I looked at her drawings on the website and really liked how she did animation. I made an appointment and brought in my orchid pix that I printed out online. I came in for my next appointment and she showed me the pretty orchids that she drew, from that moment I was so excited to have her work on my body. She is very kind and talented, definitely will make you feel at ease while you lay there and have your flesh etched with a needle. She was telling me about how she was about to open up her studio (this was 7/2008) and now it's all done! Once I get more money saved up, I want Siri to either draw more orchids or a mermaid. I came here for my largest custom to date and had the most wonderful experience with Siri. We met for a consultation, which was super helpful to know what I was getting into (spoiler alert: it was something good). She would text me in the weeks leading up to my appointment going back and forth on design, which only got me more excited & made sure there were no surprises on T-Day (tattoo day). The actual process of getting tattooed at the studio was also fantastic. It's a beautiful, airy, green space, and you can tell it's a labor of love. I felt comfortable there because everyone felt like they really loved being there. Siri is just a lovely human on top of having over two decades of tattooing experience, and you can tell she just absolutely knows what she's doing and puts so much care into her work. I have received 2 tattoos from Siri; both of which are amazing. The first was on 7/2/08 (this was done at Black & Blue), and the second was done later that year in December, in her private studio. Since then, I have added other tattoo artwork from various other artists, but no one has quite lived up to the Siri tattoo experience. She is gentle and kind. Plus, no where else have I been offered tea and a choice between music or a movie during my inking process. I am enclosing below the original review I wrote of my first tattoo experience with her in July '08. It was done at Black & Blue, but to this day it still holds true for how comfortable and at ease I felt with her. ----- I looked high and low for a place to get my tattoo done. After pouring over other yelper's reviews I selected this place. I chose Siri based off of her bio & photos of her work. [see their website for all bios about the artists.] I met her just shy of a month ago to discuss my design. My piece was an ambigram, just some blackwork - but I was seeking someone who had a pretty steady hand and could make clean lines. She seemed genuinely interested in the design, but I'd have to wait about ~2 weeks to make an appointment to have the inking done. Anyway so she did it on the 2nd of July. It was my first tattoo, and I told her when I got there, "I'm going to do this no matter what, but I am really really nervous." She was immediately comforting. The piece itself was going on my forearm, so I was able to watch her work. It was really cool! It hurt though. But we chatted about all kinds of things and because she was so friendly and sweet, I hardly thought about the pain. I would definitely recommend her to anyone and everyone - she is an absolute sweetheart, very creative/artistic & talented. I would go out of my way to go back to her to have another done. And yes, I'm already thinking about another, haha! The shop is clean and everyone there is very friendly. The only gripe I would have is parking can be a pain in the butt, just allow yourself enough time to circle for a spot and it isn't a big deal. read more
