My brother and I walked in here yesterday and had a great experience with Carolyne. She worked with us on the design and did an excellent job incorporating our thoughts on the fly. The final tattoos turned out just how we had envisioned :) On top of that the studio was professional and clean, vibes were high and there were provided snacks. We are already planning our next tattoo at this rate! read more

Called a week ahead to ask if they had a piercer to do inverted angel fangs, and was told yes. Was put in contact with that piercer, I think her name was Angel, and asked if she was able, comfortable and familiar enough with the piercing to do it and was told yes. Sent a 10$ deposit. Got there and was told to put my name on a sheet and didn't sign a waver or form of any sort. Piercer put on gloves and proceeded to touch every surface possible. She forgot about my metal allergy until reminded. Jewelry came in a box of mass supply, cheaply made jewelry like would be found on Amazon, and very unsterile as she was touching all of them and digging through it. Needle was the only thing in sterile packaging. She then got out the wrong jewelry, and was asking my opinion on gauge size which she should know. For the piercing I came in for, a flat back was required for minimal dental wear. She pulled out a curved barbell and when I requested a flat back because that's what's supposed to be used, she stated 'it will damage your teeth either way and you'll have to come back to downsize in a week anyway'. I told her to keep the deposit and left, never seen such an unsanitary and unprofessional piercer. read more

gaia at Old Crow is truly exceptional. She did an absolutely stellar job on a massive cover-up on my thigh that many artists weren't willing to even attempt. Most people told me the only option was to black it out, but gaia actually took the time to thoughtfully design a real solution that preserved artistry and healed something meaningful for me. Her patience, creativity, and technical skill are unmatched. She carefully planned every detail and never rushed the process, making sure the design worked perfectly for my body and the existing tattoo underneath. The current result exceeded anything I could have imagined. (This is a long term project so this is the first of 8-10 sessions.) Beyond her talent, gaia is a spiritually centered person and deeply passionate. She made me feel heard and respected throughout the entire experience, which meant everything during such an emotional project. If you're looking for an artist who genuinely cares about her clients and goes above and beyond to create beautiful work, gaia is the one. I could not recommend her more highly. read more

Unfortunately I have to change my review. I was referred to Old Crow by a friend. I filled out a request online and we were connected with Eduar who gave us our tattoos. He did a good job and the shop was professional and clean. He said our tattoos would need touch ups which is included in the price of the tattoo. When we went to schedule the touch ups he was no longer with the tattoo shop. We asked if someone else could help us. We were fine paying for supplies. Unfortunately, the shop was not able to follow through on helping us. In my opinion, integrity is doing the right thing even when it's not ideal. This was an opportunity to show integrity and do the right thing by their customers and in my opinion, they fell short. So, we will find another tattoo shop to do our touch ups and for any future tattoos. read more

I worked with Eduar over the course of three sessions to design and create a partial sleeve, and integrate it stylistically with a large previous tattoo. I couldn't be happier with the outcome. The studio is bright, clean and well-organized and there are free snacks, drinks and other nice touches that make you feel cared for. Eduar's design and technical skills are superb - my art is very geographically and abstract, black and white with lots of shading. Eduar had to combine templates and free hand to create the vision. His experience and creativity really shone through. Thank you Eduar and Old Crow! I will be back. read more

Had a great experience yesterday, 03/02/2026 with guest artist Jake Kobrin! I told him my vision and he created a beautiful tattoo that captures that vision 100%. Highly recommend Jake if you want a truly custom and meaningful work of art for your body. Thanks Jake and Old Crow Tattoo! read more

I've been tattooed several times now at Old Crow and every experience has been exactly what you'd hope it would be from a high quality shop. The place is immaculate, and you are offered water or tea and snacks while waiting for your tattoo or during a break. I have been tattooed twice by Caitlin, who is an absolutely fantastic artist and also a really lovely person to spend time with. Her detailed designs are stunning and I get lots of compliments on her work. I also had a great experience getting two small tattoos from Jeannie, who did great work on me and two of my friends and knocked out several beautiful tattoos for us quickly over the course of an afternoon. They also frequently have guest artists and themed flash days. I'll definitely be back for one of my next tattoos! read more

Kevin is awesome. Before I even got my tattoo, I appreciated his professional and artistic honesty. I wanted to cover up letters on my knuckles, and I just wanted them blacked out. He suggested that I do something a little different than just blocks of black. He believed it would not age well. So he sent me a few ideas. The studio itself is super cool. I felt like I was teleported to an underground club in Europe. Parking both am and pm was easy to find as well. Kevin himself is a gem. He's super sweet and easy to talk to. Hand/knuckle tattoos suck but he was super light handed! He's a great artist, & I just appreciate his honesty about everything. I get compliments all the time. I love my tattoo. Thanks, Kevin!! I got a tattoo from Karla O about a month and a half ago, and it's my favorite one I've gotten so far. I can't say enough about how good the experience was. I just wanna say that even though my sleeve is in process I cannot recommend this place enough. I communicated with Eduar about wanting to start working with him, met him in person and he has such an incredible energy and vibe the interaction made me feel so relaxed and confident, we talked about ideas and sent him pictures of what I wanted he definitely knew how to put every piece together to match my vision. I love this tattoo shop! If I could give y'all 6 stars I would. I have gotten 4 tattoos from 3 artists at Old Crow and each time was an awesome experience. Each of my tattoos were from flash events so they were also at a great price. Would absolutely visit this shop in the future for custom work. The shop is open, bright and most clean. The artists are extremely talented, creative, respectful and patient. Shout out as well to the shop manager and front desk staff for being awesome and cultivating a great vibe. Cosmikali did an amazing cover up job for me. I have shown the before and after pictures. She was very patient with me while I took time to decide on the right design and we went through several different ideas before starting. She was also incredibly empathetic and understanding about what it means to cover something up that holds negative energy and wanting to embrace a new part of yourself by having a new design. She made me feel understood and listened to and I highly recommend her! She is very creative and comfortable with working on the spot doing freehand as well. read more

This review is for a piece done by Natasha Tsozik. I found Natasha through Instagram and reached out to her about an idea I had for a tattoo of my dog. We had a short Zoom consultation and talked through ideas of what I wanted. A few days before my appointment, Natasha sent me a sketch of the tattoo and she was very open to feedback. The second iteration was exactly what I wanted. On the day of the appointment, I got to the shop and was impressed by all the COVID safety protocols they had in place. No one touched anything without freshly sanitized hands and everyone was masked the whole time. I really appreciated these extra precautions! Natasha was open to moving the stencil around and making sure the piece was placed in the optimal position. Once we got started, she worked quickly and efficiently and the time went by so quickly. The final product is amazing and I'm so happy with it. Now I have my dog on me forever! read more

Writing this review after receiving a stellar tattoo from resident artist, Natasha Tsozik. Wow, wow, wow is all I can think about/say when I look at my tattoo. In addition to her creativity and talent, Natasha is very thorough and has excellent communication. The experience: 1) The shop is relatively small but has a lot of necessary and great COVID protocols in place. You're asked to wash and sanitize your hands frequently with the items they have on-site. 2) Natasha walks you through the process and checks in frequently! Very caring and attentive. I fell asleep 3 times (sorry!) during the session because she's just that good at her job. Love, love, love my tattoo. Thankful for Natasha's vision and expertise, wishing I had gotten all of my tattoos from her. Definitely booking my next appointment! read more

Believe me when I say Natasha Tsozik is worth the wait. She is a lovely person and a wildly talented artist. From the moment I submitted a request through her form , she communicated her process and expectations very clearly. I sent her some high level ideas and then trusted her to work her magic by applying her style to the ideas - the first sketch she sent me was nearly perfectly what I wanted, and she was receptive to feedback both during the week leading up to the session and when I arrived at the shop. She quickly put my butterflies at ease by talking me through each step of the process, and her skill and calm demeanor as she worked made the hours fly by. By following her aftercare instructions to a T, my tattoo healed beautifully. Additionally, she was so patient with me in the weeks leading up to the appointment as some life circumstances beyond my control made it uncertain whether I could move forward with the appointment as planned. Thank you Natasha for letting me wear your artwork and for your kindness! read more

I've had the chance to work with Hannah 3 times now and each time I'm blown away even more by her artistry. She's super professional, knowledgeable, and attentive to all details throughout the process. Her hand is gentle which helps make sessions feel super easy to sit through. She also does a great job providing thorough aftercare details and recommendations, and she's quick to respond with additional tips/recommendations if any issues come up during healing process. The shop itself is impeccably clean, the decor is amazing, and stations are pretty spaced out so it doesn't feel at all cramped. When we lost our dog of 14 years, my twin sister and I knew that we wanted our first tattoos to be of her. A good friend of mine recommended Old Crow tattoo, but more specifically Natasha Tsozik for her fine line work. I scrolled through her Instagram and portfolio online and was amazed at her artwork and loved her pet memorial tattoos, so I decided to reach out. Submitting our request online was super simple and Natasha was extremely responsive after that. She walked my sister and I through the process and drew up the sketches for our tattoos perfectly. We didn't change a thing. When the day came, Natasha was very kind. I let her know that I have a very low threshold for pain (hah) and she told me that she was very gentle and she didn't lie. She asked me if I was okay throughout the entire session and I honestly didn't feel much! Definitely made my first tattoo experience a positive one. Our tattoos healed very well and we had no issues at all. I recommend Natasha and Old Crow to anyone who asks me about my tattoo. Thank you again Natasha! read more

This review is regarding my experience with Holi. I contacted him about tattooing my grandmother's Corvette on my arm. Consultation went fine and I felt like he was grasping what I wanted. He asked for a few more photos of the car which I sent him a week after the consultation. I was scheduled for 2:30 on a Monday. I live in northern Napa county so it was a little bit of a hike for me to get down to Oakland but after seeing all of Holi's work I thought it would be worth it. Traffic was awful and I ran 5min late, which I called and informed the shop of. The woman on the phone said Holi was running late as well. I get to the shop and wait for Holi who arrives at 3. I later checked my email and saw he had emailed me at 2 saying he was coming from a doctor's appointment and was running late. Once he got there he showed me the sketch. It looked complete but he said he wanted to tweak something really quick and to give him 20min. No problem. Except that 20min turned into nearly 2.5 hours of waiting. He later told me he didn't check his email and just saw the extra photos I sent him that day. I was pissed at that point but I had already drove nearly 2 hours to get there and put a hefty amount down for the deposit. I didn't want to lose my deposit or piss off a guy about to put permanent ink on my body so I kept my emotions to myself. I figured he's still a great artist and at least I'll be going home with this rad tattoo. We finally start tattooing at 5:15. He mentioned he had a knee injury and has been out the last 2 weeks. He told me he would need to take some extra breaks during our session which I didn't mind at all. We finally stopped at 10 because I still needed to drive home and the tattoo was still not done after nearly 5 hours. Probably needs another hour honestly. He luckily said he would only charge me 3 hours but ended up charging me 3 1/3 hours. And looking at the tattoo I was not thrilled. Lots of wobbly lines and 3 random lines that aren't supposed to be there. I was super upset at this point. This tattoo had a lot of sentimental value for me and I was so excited to get it done. Sadly, Holi ruined the experience for me and every time I look at the tattoo I get mad all over again. I left the shop and still planned on having him finish the tattoo, he still had my deposit, but his communication was so bad. It took him 1.5-2 weeks to get back to me each time I emailed him which then pushed my next appointment slot to 2 months away. I finally told him how unhappy I was about my appointment and that I had to wait so long. I told him he seemed unprepared and lacked communication. If he had told me ahead of time he had been out for 2 weeks and was in such pain from his injury then I would have rescheduled and the whole thing would have gone a lot smoother I'd imagine. But he didn't communicate with me and I was stuck waiting for hours uncertain if this guy was in the right frame of mind to put something permanent on my body. His response came almost 2 weeks later at midnight. He apologized and said he didn't realize I was upset with waiting. Not sure who would be thrilled with waiting 3 hours. He also said he had to nearly redraw the whole tattoo which was news to me. If he had said that I might have rescheduled to give him extra time to prepare. At that point I was done. I just felt like he was unprofessional and careless. I get tattooing isn't a "normal" job but who takes 2 weeks to respond to an email and then does it in the middle of the night?! I kindly told him I would prefer to have it finished by someone else and I would like my deposit returned. 2 stars because he actually returned it. I paid a lot for a high quality tattoo and feel like I got screwed. Now I'm having to pay someone else to finish and fix the lines. This is not my first tattoo by a long shot and I've never been treated so poorly or had to wait so long for an artist to set up and prepare. I would not recommend Holi. read more

After months of researching where to get my first tattoo, I landed on this place. I was blown away by the professionalism, kindness, and skill. I am writing this update in response to Hannah's response, in which she now calls me "entitled", "condescending" and "abusive" and claims that I demanded she do additional drawing for free. Also, like with other former clients, she now accuses me of needing "psychiatric help" and "meds." If you are considering hiring Hannah Wolf, ask yourself whether it is appropriate to personally attack and insult your own clients like this. Ask yourself whether the unhinged demeanor she displays in her ranting responses is something you want to deal with, since it seems to be a trend with her. In fact, you don't even need to read my review. Simply read Hannah's own responses to her many other 1-star reviews and ask if this is the type of person you want to work with. I attached my email that prompted her to fire me as a client and still keep my deposit. I will let readers judge for themselves whether I was being rude and demanding. You can plainly see that Hannah is lying when she claims that I was asking for something for free and demanding that she redraw the tattoo. I clearly said in the email that I was happy to compensate her for additional drawing time, and at no point did I make a single demand. If she is willing to so obviously lie about this, how much can you trust anything she says? Her claims that I treated her rudely, condescendingly or angrily are grossly embellished and dishonest. By the tone of my email, you should be able to see this for yourself. Her claim that I "quickly became angry that it was not being done how I wanted" is pure fiction, which should again be easy to discern from the email. I can only speculate about where her comments are coming from and what specifically I did wrong to cause her to fly off the handle like this. It is true that I, like the many other clients who she has spontaneously fired, did agree to her terms of service. However, nowhere in her terms does she state that she reserves the right to fire her clients on a whim and keep the deposit anyway. There are no businesses in existence in which that is an acceptable way to treat customers. Imagine if you hired a contractor to build you a house and they ended up refusing to do the job, refused to return your deposit, and gave you nothing but a rough blueprint of a house. Then, when you dare to complain, they label you as emotionally unstable and abusive. You would agree it's absurd and unfair, not to mention probably illegal. I encourage Hannah to update her terms to make this policy clearer, although I highly doubt anyone would ever agree to hire her after reading them. read more
