I would say I'd appreciate a bit more hospitality. No one was rude by any means but I did feel a bit judged for being a minimally tattooed young girl. I totally could have just been anxious, and I know tattoos aren't a big deal for some. But this was only my second one and was excited! Tattoo came out great. Hac Shannon did an impressive refinishing on my 5 year old tattoo that had never been finished because it was too physically painful for me. I have fibromyalgia. Whole studio is super nice and everyone is really friendly, but this is a shout out to Speth. They/he (ask everyone their pronouns or be prepared to drop $5 in the Misgender Jar) worked with me diligently on my cover up. When the original design didn't sit right on the space, we together came up with a different plan of attack. I was getting my ribs worked on (OW!) and Speth was very tuned into how I was doing and kept assuring me we could go at any pace I needed to, and offered to do a second session to finish at no additional charge. As I was hollering and swearing another member of the team offered me some numbing cream to keep my pain down (pink short hair, does cosmetic tattooing, I forgot their name) and made the pain tolerable and the experience much much more pleasant. She has actually said outloud, in response to the poor quality of work being produced at her shop, to not worry about the art and just worry about the money. So this place is amazing! A group of us came out from Washington Oregon and Southern California for a friend's wedding. We decided last minute that some of us wanted to get tattoos. After calling around for 2 days with no luck due to having five people wanting last minute tattoos. Haley I believe her name was messaged me and said there was an artist named j.t. who had an opening and was willing to fit us all in today. They were both so kind and helpful with working around our rehearsal schedule today as well. All five tattoos came out amazing. Jt did such a great job with rapid fire semi custom tattoos for all of us. Mine was by far the largest with the moon phases down my spine. He even went way out of his way to stay a little late for me since mine was larger when he definitely already had gone above and beyond fitting us all in today last minute. He's very personable and easy to talk too while your getting tattooed. I 100% would recommend this place. If I am ever back in town I will be coming back for another tattoo for sure.
