I booked a consultation appointment with Temple tattoo and Austin said if I didn't want to make any changes to what I showed him, he could tattoo me right away. I asked for easy adjustments from what I showed him like length and size and he was able to change and create a stencil from it. It being my first tattoo, of course I was nervous. I asked all sorts of questions and Austin was patient and answered all of them. I'm a talker and I appreciate someone who banters with me, especially to keep my mind off of pain. Not only did Austin assure me that none of my questions were stupid (because I felt like they were), he asked me questions and kept the conversation going to pass the time. The whole process took about 15 minutes and suddenly, my drawing became the tattoo I've always wanted. I was so happy with the customer service and ease of the whole process that I came back to find Austin to do my next tattoo. It was the same easy process. I also had my sights set on a bigger piece as my third, with a very specific style that I would like an artist input on. They were very kind to point me in the direction of an artist who specialized in the style I was looking for, and when that artist and I couldn't really agree on my vision, he was very kind to assure me that it was my piece and body I was putting the tattoo on, so it's important to find the right artist, unfortunately, he wasn't it this time. I really appreciated the honesty and integrity of being an artist first, and a businessman second. The customer service is excellent and efficient. Every artist's quote is different, so I can't really give you a price range, and they do cash only. There is an ATM machine upstairs that you can use once you get your piece done. The street parking situation is not it around here. You either have to get lucky or plan to walk a couple of blocks. I saw someone's car get broken into as I was walking in this area so please take extra care to not out anything valuable out in the open since you'll be gone from your car for a while.

I heard very good things about this spot, so I was excited to come here. A bit background, my tragus earrings fell out about 3 days prior to this visit. I lost one, so I decided to get a new set and wanted someone out the jewelry back in for me, as it is difficult for me to get the backing for these piercings, Anyway, I stopped in, was greeted, and informed to fill out a form on my phone. After filling it out, I was taken to the glass case where the earrings were and the ones I wanted only have one left, so I picked out a different pair (they sell the earrings individually). I was told to wait for the piercer to help me. After a short wait, someone came out for me and we went to the back. I got settled on the piercing / tattoo bed and was walked through the process. My piercer was nice and since we were just putting new ones in, it was a quick process. I went back to the front to get rung up for the jewelry and service (they do charge $10 for each piercing change). The reason why I gave them a 2 is because one of my tragus swelled up very badly. Not sure why it would had swelled up like that, as I did not get pierced, so I am not sure if they did not clean the jewelry properly or practice correct hand hygiene. I had to carefully clean it, as it was so inflamed and hurt so badly for days. Overall, it would had been a 1, but the experience up to afterwards was pleasant.

They took us immediately and people started coming in pretty quickly afterwards. Definitely a fast paced shop that gets lots of foot traffic so adjust your expectations if you think you're gonna get right in. We got Nino (@zappyzip on Instagram) and he was really great at being straight with us about what will and won't look good on a finger. We both have tattoos but these were our first finger tattoos so we didn't really know what was realistic. My husband wanted to get the entire date in Roman numerals and Nino very gentle told him that would not be a good idea cause it's just too much writing and that we should keep it simple. He was totally right and we were so happy with how they turned out. Shop was very clean, friendly and professional. I read reviews before coming and could kinda tell the general attitude of the negative reviewers and I'm sure if you come in here and act like a tool or are rude they might get a little spicy with you but honestly everyone here was so nice and talented. Next time we are in the area we are definitely gonna try and book in advance with Nino!
