Days leading up to it, I was still very worried because I hadn't seen her sketch yet. The day beforehand, she sent me her sketch and I adjusted it to my liking. The next day was my appointment and I had to call her since the building was kind of hard to find. The studio was very clean and professional. I had never had a professional studio tattoo prior to this visit and I was a little worried about the pain especially because of the stipple shading. Ally had a super light hand and the outline was completely fine, and after the pain spray it was basically numb. Another concern was the healing process and I did notice little black flakes coming off and I was a little worried. After a couple weeks, fully healed, the tattoo looks as good as it was when it was freshly done. The session took less than two hours and I think the price was reasonable. I sent her lots of reference images and the tattoo she created was exactly what I wanted. Her communication was consistent and she got back to me quickly whenever I had questions. I wanted a fine line design with some ornamental touches and I'm so happy with my result. The studio is very welcoming, clean and comfortable. My tattoo was pretty large for my first one, but I felt fine the entire time and Arie checked on me consistently. Applying the stencil took time, but I'm grateful for that because the placement was exactly what I wanted. Made an appointment through email, sent different pictures of what I wanted, and he was easy to communicate with. When I arrived, he was friendly and accommodating with all the little changes I wanted on the stencils. He made good conversation throughout the entire process, which distracted me from the light pain from the tattoos. For both arms, he said it was a minimum of $80! Such a good price for two tats so I decided to tip him graciously. Highly recommend this place if you want your first tattoo experience to be comfortable.

Called a week ahead to ask if they had a piercer to do inverted angel fangs, and was told yes. Was…read moreput in contact with that piercer, I think her name was Angel, and asked if she was able, comfortable and familiar enough with the piercing to do it and was told yes. Sent a 10$ deposit. Got there and was told to put my name on a sheet and didn't sign a waver or form of any sort. Piercer put on gloves and proceeded to touch every surface possible. She forgot about my metal allergy until reminded. Jewelry came in a box of mass supply, cheaply made jewelry like would be found on Amazon, and very unsterile as she was touching all of them and digging through it. Needle was the only thing in sterile packaging. She then got out the wrong jewelry, and was asking my opinion on gauge size which she should know. For the piercing I came in for, a flat back was required for minimal dental wear. She pulled out a curved barbell and when I requested a flat back because that's what's supposed to be used, she stated 'it will damage your teeth either way and you'll have to come back to downsize in a week anyway'. I told her to keep the deposit and left, never seen such an unsanitary and unprofessional piercer.

I can't wear my wedding ring because I've had multiple surgeries and having any jewelry on agitates my skin. We had been wanting to do it for a while so called around to see if anywhere had walk ins available. I called Tattoo 13's sister shop and they directed me there. The person that answered the phone said if I could get there soon they could take me so we went right there and were the first people in. They took us immediately and people started coming in pretty quickly afterwards. Definitely a fast paced shop that gets lots of foot traffic so adjust your expectations if you think you're gonna get right in. We got Nino (@zappyzip on Instagram) and he was really great at being straight with us about what will and won't look good on a finger. We both have tattoos but these were our first finger tattoos so we didn't really know what was realistic. My husband wanted to get the entire date in Roman numerals and Nino very gentle told him that would not be a good idea cause it's just too much writing and that we should keep it simple. He was totally right and we were so happy with how they turned out. Shop was very clean, friendly and professional. I read reviews before coming and could kinda tell the general attitude of the negative reviewers and I'm sure if you come in here and act like a tool or are rude they might get a little spicy with you but honestly everyone here was so nice and talented.
